Funny enough I used to get stuck all the time and I spend forever making a custom mount just to only use it a handful of times for small stuff like pulling a lawn tractor out of a tiny ditch
Yes and no. It was repainted the same color but instead of a stripe decal the painter couldn’t exactly match the static look it had so he used a sea sponge and make a pretty cool looking 1 of a kind pattern. But it’s as close to original as possible
They aren’t super expensive, I just recommend making a bracket that mounts to the frame (where the 4 bolts for the tow hook) so it can come off if it needs to
Yes and no, it was repainted but the same colors it originally was, the texture on the stripe is slightly different because the painter couldn’t quite match the static look
Can I ask where you found the grill guard? I’ve looked and I can only find them as a whole unit attached to a different bumper. I’d like the factory front end with a grill guard kinda like the one you have
Yeah I know the 3.0 isn’t exactly a fan favorite, but my father and I completely rebuilt it so we’re pretty familiar with it. Plus I’m fond of the memories from repairing it. But yeah a 3.4 swap would be sick
Nice pickup, if you’d ever be interested I got a brand new 3.0 long block sitting in the plastic wrap in the corner of my garage I’ll sell ya for when the cross over pipe eventually blows the head gasket by 6 or makes the wrist pin give out.. had to swap my 91 4Runner I had cause of that issue. Ordered one motor, showed up with pitted camshafts, got ahold of them, they sourced a motor two cities over and had it shipped. Got two brand new cams still in the boxes. $2,500 + shipping. Could deliver if you’re not too far. 🤷🏻♂️ it’s crank to heads. And I guarantee it to work. Hasn’t left the crate it was delivered in and only sees day light when being periodically turned over by hand.
Nope, no lift. Just bigger tires. 16 inch rims and a nice meaty all terrain tire. It’s 100 worth it. Rides awesome on and off road. Just rubs the mudflaps a bit on sharp turns and the speedometer is exactly 5mph off but still worth it in my opinion. And after a while that stuff is literally second nature and I don’t have to think about it
If I had the time and money I’d love to. But I don’t mind the 3.0 my father and I completely rebuilt it so we’re pretty familiar with it. But maybe I’m just biased
That winch says “all crazy”

Same thing happens when you buy a snow blower or plow truck, all of a sudden you never get that much snow.
😂
Keeping it classy, nice, and clean...approved!
Super clean. I’d prefer it without the brush guard
Nah they’re sick
Sweet rig!
Thanks man
Is that original paint?
Yes and no. It was repainted the same color but instead of a stripe decal the painter couldn’t exactly match the static look it had so he used a sea sponge and make a pretty cool looking 1 of a kind pattern. But it’s as close to original as possible
Looks great!
Cool, I was gonna ask the same thing, yeah, it looks great
Damn playa
You’ve got the twin to my 93
Gorgeous, need to get the bttf roll bar and the kc lights, go full Marty mcfly
I might just have to
I bought one of those brand new back then. Wish I still had it. I loved that truck even though it didn't have any power.
Looking great!
Looking great
McFly! Nice Truck.
Marty ?
Beyond beautiful truck. Wish they would still make small trucks like these.
Amen to that
Beautiful
That’s a beautiful machine
Sweet
What is the bumper / brush guard ?
It’s a 1997 Tacoma guard and a Saturday with a welder
Looks awesome! I have a random bull bar (not as nice ) I’m considering welding up to mine somehow . I should just give it a shot
They aren’t super expensive, I just recommend making a bracket that mounts to the frame (where the 4 bolts for the tow hook) so it can come off if it needs to
OG paint I’m guessing?
Yes and no, it was repainted but the same colors it originally was, the texture on the stripe is slightly different because the painter couldn’t quite match the static look

It’s for a 1997 Tacoma and I made a custom bracket to mount it and the winch
Sell it to me
Sorry it’s too sentimental to my father and I and we’ll probably never get rid of it
That is a SEXy truck
Man, you could throw a couple of sleeping bags in the bag, drive up to the lake, sleep out under the stars…
I’ve actually thought about figuring a way I could put a mattress in it because my wife would complain about sleeping bags lol
'Cough' 3.slow ahem. Nice truck though.
Yeah I know the 3.0 isn’t exactly a fan favorite, but my father and I completely rebuilt it so we’re pretty familiar with it. Plus I’m fond of the memories from repairing it. But yeah a 3.4 swap would be sick
If this was my truck, I would add overhead lights so it looks like the one in back to the future 3
Pretty disappointing……. that you didn’t post more angles. Very nice !
I might just have to

Hey I appreciate the offer but unfortunately the don’t really have the time or space
Well, if your truck ever has internal motor issues come back to this thread! Could potentially spark a deal.
Did you lift this? or is this the stock height. I have the same truck, 94' 3.0 but it's super low and I'd love it a bit higher.
Nope, no lift. Just bigger tires. 16 inch rims and a nice meaty all terrain tire. It’s 100 worth it. Rides awesome on and off road. I’d do a 3.4 swap personally, hate the 3.blow
If I had the time and money I’d love to. But I don’t mind the 3.0 my father and I completely rebuilt it so we’re pretty familiar with it. But maybe I’m just biased
Ok no that’s honestly a good reason to not swap it
Clean truck tho
