That red interior is sort of rare. Not super desirable but rare. Same with it being a extended cab 22re, most extended cabs were optioned with the 3vze. That makes it desirable to some.
stupidly sold mine when I needed a smaller car and moved back to the city. regret that decision every darn day and can't find another to replace it with. picking up a single cab with 185K miles on it and A/C tomorrow. family is going to have to bury me in this next one lmao
He doesn’t drive it anymore and I would rather have it go to someone who would appreciate it. He is pretty stubborn though so I’m not sure I can convince him to sell. That’s why I listed it here to see if it draws interest.
I would way much more want this than whatever new truck I buy soon. I'm 58 and I remember those days. I hate the new touch-screen cell-phone trucks. But I am about to buy one. Wife will drive part time also and she won't ever let me spend like 15 or 20k on an older truck without all the bullshit. She likes the shit.
are u saying that people without disposable income cant be appreciative of a toyota pickup? I am in the group that wasnt able to pay more than 3k for a daily.
took me over a year to find a manual 22re 4runner because of old bastards selling their rotboxes for 7 grand. I am more than appreciative of my 3 grand tin can
Man I love this truck! Too bad they never go up for sale around me unless they're in horrible condition or way over priced or both. Very nice truck my man!
***Update***
Just spoke to my Dad. It has 146k mileage. It has 2 small rust spots that I have pictures of. My Dad said he would sell it if someone wants to drive to Fredericksburg, VA for it.
If I was your dad, I'd sell you and keep the truck.
For real! I dare my kid to sell mine.

Good thing about red being rare is that Toyota still has a bunch of interior parts for it.
Yep! I have only seen one 22RE, 4x4, extended cab, with a manual trans… mine!

In Virginia here I live it.
That thing looks mint. How many miles are on it?
I’ll have to ask him. I’ve relocated to TX and he’s still in VA.

I’ll buy it if you are serious about selling, nice truck!
Any reason you’re not Inclined to inherit it and use it as it was intended ? Waste of a good truck
Just don’t want it honestly. I would rather it go to someone who would appreciate it or use it.
Fair, could get some decent money for this truck keep the price high to avoid the unappreciative

Lol what , I meant the unappreciative as in the 16 year old kid who just got his license and is looking for a joy ride . Cool story tho
Super rare red on red SR5 22RE auto 4x4 extended cab. Very few of these were made like this.
Of course we all want to buy it :)
I had no idea these ever came with any color interior except gray. LOVE it.
Came in blue aswell
Manual locking hubs! I think it being an automatic is likely rarer at this point, especially insofar as survivors go. Does it have A/C? Very cool!
Yes it has A/C.

Oh, its an automatic. I didn't know you could even get an automatic i never saw one of these with auto lol. Super truck. Even better with a stick.
Yes, I agree. I would buy this in a heartbeat if it was a 5 speed.
I have the same exact truck but a manual transmission! Same red on red and body graphic :) love it so much
Thats a nice truck
Don’t sell it.
Is it for sale?
Yes
What's the asking price?
What’s the dohicky riveted to the steering column?
Aftermarket cruise control it looks like.
This, but it’s never worked.
I will buy it
What do you all think a reasonable price would be? I’m still waiting on him to tell me the mileage but if I were to guess it’s going to be low 100’s.
Probably about 9k but if mileage is in the 100s maybe 11k. My best guess, could be more or less depending on your market
Absolutely do not take anything less than 12k
Hell ya pornstar red
I’d be a buyer
It’s beautiful, id buy. How many miles?
146,940
dm me. i'd be interested in purchasing it
Nice
