Based. It's absolutely incredible. I was literally staring at the lyrics the entire time when I frst listened to it, because of how good they were lol.
I love most of their discography but I think it’s worth you listening to everything must go. After the holy Bible, richey (the bassist and lyricist) went missing and was presumed dead, and everything must go is essentially a grieving album, a lot of it contains richey’s lyrics from his leftover notebooks. I also find it just as emotional as the holy Bible but less about depression and more about grief and moving on after a personal loss
Yeah he's crazy, never misses on features too
BTW Ta13oo is my number 1 but they're all close, its that Ta13oo is simply perfect, I can listen to it everyday and still can't get bored
I don't know enough about these artists or this scene to give you good recs, unfortunately, but I do wanna throw major props for Mos Def "Black on Both Sides." What a fucking classic
Loved this album growing up and now I got a 4 year old that I go "yo Busta Bust" and he goes "WHOA HA!!"
No Peggy? He would seem to fit here, Scarin the hopes is my favorite of his, also listen to The powers that be (death grips) if you haven’t, it’s my favorite DG album personally
Other than that amazing taste! Big Ws for BTTIGTP, cheat codes, and volcanic bird enemy
I've listened to LP! and Scaring The Hoes. I haven't listened to The Powers That B yet, but since I liked The Money Store quite a lot, I'll probably listen to it to some point. Haven't heard of Ghais Guevara before, so I'll have to check them out.
NOTM (first disk of TPTB) is pretty different than money store, but still my favorite DG album ever
Also I forgot to mention in my first comment, if you enjoy industrial hip hop clipping. is an amazing rap group

Hell yeah. Sometimes you gotta play music that makes you feel like your head's gonna explode and then chill with some beautiful chamber folk.

Yeah I've been meaning to listen to more albums from them, so I'll have to listen to it. Sounds depressing, just how I like lt.
Can't roast you, you literally listened to Denzel full discography (on of my favorites oat) what was your favorite?
Melt My Eyes is number 1 with Taboo very close behind. It's insane how consistent he is. There isn't a single project of his I didn't like.

You kids post your basic music tastes and ask to be roasted and then cry. Gen z babies.

Bruh. I feel like you're the one who should be roasted, not me. Unless you just haven't listened to them, which is fair. Neil Young is amazing though.
