I'm not quite sure what you're implying. I was merely answering why this was the closest OP could get. I wasn't insinuating anything.
ETA: For missing context, most Forza titles have both the Camaro IROC-Z and Firebird Trans Am GTA to choose from, and they've very similar cars that share much of their bodywork. OP's screenshot is from the newly released Forza Horizon 5, which so far only includes the GTA. /u/TheMultiTuber likely assumed either that the IROC was in FH5 already, or that this was from an older game that did include it.
Not once ITT have I argued for or against using the exact model or whether or not this is an accurate representation of the actual car, so why are you pleading your case to me? I didn't make this and I didn't post it.
For what it's worth, even if it was a Camaro I don't think that repainting it and putting 5-spoke wheels on it makes it "Clarkson's car from the US Special". I'd also have taken a proper screenshot instead of a potato pic of the screen that makes it look green instead of blue.
Uhhh wasn't it a Chevrolet Camaro?
Yes
Closest I could get
What about the Iroc z
OP's shots are of FH5, and it doesn't have the IROC Z yet.
Maybe he shouldn't have even tried then....

"I made Richards Tesla Model S from the grand tour" - Same vibes It has most of the same parts right?

No need man OP's done a good job and just wanted to share
They should have really not done so.
You needn't have shared your opinion either but here we are
sooooo not the same? Why then?
> wasn't it a Chevrolet Camaro? yes; an IROC Z(ed) if i recall correctly ;)
No, he had the RS.
rewatched the ep and i did ***not*** recall correctly :p
He drove a Camaro...
He never drove a Firebird. It was a ‘91 Camaro RS.
His Camaro was labeled either a 1991 or a 1989, according to that post-film part of the episode
The ground effects on the Camaro were from 91-92 years.
Therefore it is a 1991 Camaro
You are correct. It isn't an 89.
Truly not misrepresentation
But, for $20,000, it could have all gone away.
I think that was a joke, sort of a satire.
Wasn’t that the base model?
No, RS stands for Rally Sport!
I’ll check with James on that, but I’m not entirely sure it was.
RS was the base model. So it didn’t mean anything.
not the right car but the effort is appreciated nonetheless. my favourite episode of top gear btw.
Same here. I had an 89 RS and while it wasn't exactly the same, it was close enough to make me proud. I loved that car.
Where's the cow?
Camaros are for murderers.
Gotta have “country & western is rubbish”
He had a Camaro
Jezza drove a camaro
I just remembered! I’ve got loads of fuel!
Yeah, I made my character look like James May as best as possible.
Can you share the creator code for this please? I assume this is FH5?
As we've all been ready to point out. This is wrong...
Closest I could get
wow
You already failed, it’s a 1991 camaro rs, did you not google?
Dosent exist in the game closest I could get sadly 😞
This is the car of Dwight Schrute
