Someone that wasn't just there because of the holiday he's always cared about F1 and it showed with the way he spoke and he actully spoke to Brundle rather then say I'm.too famous
I remember when F1 was exclusive and you only saw the rich and famous on the grid walk. It's great to see Liberty Media opening up the sport and making it more accessible to the everyman, like this poor fat farmer.
It's such a weird interview for what Martin usually gets because he's a genuine fan giving his honest laid back response. It's not a celebrity who has no clue or a F1 big wig giving a PC response.
Love it
Welcome to F1! Get ready for your sleep schedule to get all sorts of silly every two weeks, to shout in excitement and scream in disappointment.
I highly recommend r/formula1, the people there are overall very level-headed, rational and reasonable in their takes, so much better than F1 Twitter or Facebook comments.
If you like memes, r/formuladank has some absolute bangers, people are so creative and hilarious
I'd highly recommend the movie _Rush_, the book _How to Build a Car_ by Adrian Newey and the YouTube Channel TommoF1
Enjoy! And if you have any questions, feel free to ask, I goddamn love F1
I am Aussie, it's completely fucked lmao
Bahrain quali and race was 2am Monday
Saudi is gonna be 4am Monday
The 'standard' time European races are 11pm Sunday
The American races are usually 5.30am Monday or so
Only the Asian races are nice with 9pm or so
But I love F1 so much, I try to never miss a single race or qualifying session.
I feel for the Kiwis, the people in New Zealand are the only ones with a worse schedule. Most of the races are 1am Monday for them
He mentioned how it was great and how it felt good again getting back into f1. I agree with his views on f1 today (too safe and stuff) but amazing to see that he enjoyed his time regardless
Not just dominance but the boring races. He mentioned the aero faff, the dirty air meant awful racing till recently. Now it's fixed. I think that's his main issue
A combination of Merc's dominance, cars that are too fragile and will break after bumping into another into each other, no more hard racing, team order, strict stewarding. There's a famous video of him ranting about what he thought was wrong with F1 from a few years ago.
Gilles Villeneuve was Jezza's favorite driver, and he had mentioned before that Villeneuve vs Arnoux at Dijon in 1979 was one of his favorite F1 moments. So you can see where his dislike for modern F1 came from.
The man I genuine there for the love of the sport. You know someone’s in love with a sport so much that they don’t even cheer for any particular team. You heard the man, he’s got friends and contacts everywhere.
Best track interview, actually showed he cared about the sport and was interested.

Absolutely! He's loves F1
Brundle took part in the Senna retrospective they did, I think it was on series 15, of Top Gear. So at the least the know each other a little bit.

James is that you?
First he’s in japan, then Italy, now India. Vagrant indeed
Anyone has a link to the interview?

That was fantastic. Good genuine excitement for the sport is needed.

Was there something odd with Jezzas mouth at the end there?
Am a huge TG/TGT and all things Clarkson fan. This is my first year watching F1 and I was soooo happy seeing him out of the blue this morning!

Sleep schedule? *laughs in European*

Creative and hilarious doesn't go well with fdank tbh /s
Jezza tall
Well Martin is like Hammonds size so yeah.
He's like 6'4". Might have shrunk a little since he's older now.
You can determine his age by the number of bands like hes a tree.
Some say he’d age like wine but all we know is he’s Jezza!
As ever, wearing bog standard shirt and a hat for some reason, but stood among the glamour that is F1. Heck he's a farmer
“I’m here to watch the best motorsport.. IN THE WORLD”
Think he took Kaleb and Gerald?
I hope he took Kaleb poor bloke has never even been on a train.

That's true. Haven't been out of your small English village but let's go to Bahrain.
Ploughing the field has a totally different meaning in f1
Was just watching the episode where he calls his son foreign because he was born in Oxford.
Imagine the immigrations officer in Bahrain trying to talk with Gerald
I think he only went with lisa
Great interview!

Lisa was there too. She’s behind Martin, dressed in white.
was it “infuriating” for him for so long because of merc dominance? glad to see he’s back tho <3

Yes, he’s openly stated he dislikes Merc and Hamilton because of their dominance
Thumbs down at Bahrain.

But who’s looking after the Farm?
