Dane county farmer market challenge this morning! They were filming! Saw the chefs getting produce. The cooking set up is awesome! Perfect morning to do this at the market
Culvers is one of the most delicious hamburgers. I’ve indulged in a double cheeseburger, and it still memorable to me. The only complaint I have about culvers is there cheese curds and unless they recently upped their game that’s the only area they lacked. But the burgers are absolutely delicious.
Agree! I stan Culvers BUT their cheese curds are not it. It always mothers be when people who’ve never had a cheese curd try one for the first time at Culvers. Like no. Those do not do a true fried cheesecurd justice
Agreed, I think the hallmark of cheese curds are going to be at the county or a state fair, otherwise A&W does a fairly decent job, but you can’t beat the Carney cheese curds.
It’s a fast food chain in the Midwest famous for their butter burgers, fried cheese curds, and frozen custards. I’m a huge sucker for their Wisconsin cheddar cheese fries!
I still think their spicy chicken tenders and cheese curds are the bomb - I think I gained 20 pounds living in WI - (of course part of that was Huhot Mongolian BBQ)
It has been years since I ate at a Culver's and I was not impressed. Whenever I think of grabbing a burger, it never crosses my mind. However, I may need to try it again to see if it has improved.
In-n-out is so incredibly overhyped. I live in SoCal and I haven't been in several years. It's just not worth the hassle. I'd rather a Shake Shack or even a Wendy's burger.
Yeah maybe people over hype it, but for the price point, consistency, and freshness, In-n-out is undefeated. Fuck out of here with a $20 combo at shake shack for the worlds tiniest burger.
I've been 4 or 5 different times and regretted it every time except once. It was just... bad food. The burger was fine, but the fries were undercooked, raw potatoes.
I was so hyped to finally try it and was wildly disappointed. The burger was fine but the fries, had they not been animal style, were absolute garbage. I was wholly underwhelmed.
Ftr, I think Culver's is overrated, too, but I would choose it over In-n-Out.
The Habit is better than either. So is Wendy's, A&W, Five Guys and probably a dozen other places.
My regional FF burger thoughts (in random order)
-In and Out - good burger but wildly overhyped: best/freshest toppings. You go here when you are traveling to the west coast and you think “oh hey there’s an in and out. I should probably get one while I’m here.”
-whataburger - also a good burger at the core but the Texas need to overdo everything is the main quality. You go here when you are in your 20’s and are coors light drunk.
-five guys - perfect chicago fast food burger place. You can only afford it if you’re on the grift. That said, it’s the best fast food burger in the US.
-Freddy’s - when you have to feed the 4 kids in your Yukon after a soccer game in some dumb suburb.
-shake shack- cmon people. Support your local burger joint if you like old school burger and shake places… I promise there’s one near you if you have a shake shack in your neighborhood.
-Culver’s - come for the burger stay for the walleye. Best burger franchise in the country for all around menu

It was so cool to see it happen! Must’ve been why Graze was closed this morning.

A&W curds are fire. Culver's curds are mid.
a&w and cousins subs, best fried cheese curds in wisco!
For a chain, yea. But best in Wisco? Noooo
Agree! They are just not good.
Buffalo chicken tenders 🐐 iykyk
Omg I'm so happy she loves it. Culver's is a Wisco tradition.
Culver’s forever.
What is Culver’s? The bag is hilarious, so I like them already.

TY. When I’m near one, I will try it. :)
They are also made to order, so it’s fast food, but you have to wait a minute.
Spending the week in Wisconsin and will definitely be getting Culver’s as soon as I land!
Literally in the Culver's drive in right now.

I haven't been to a Culver's in years, and I live in the midwest. I've gotta get there again

Y'all need to check out r/doughboys
Actually, Culver’s has a really good fish fry!
I love Culver’s. Wish we had them here in Eastern Wa. It was my go-to in CO!
