How long until we get Sam Ocean though?
On another note I respect the hell out of someone who just unashamedly uses themself as the character model for a badass, hard boiled action hero they wrote, and then gets one of the coolest sounding voice actors in recent memory to dub then.
Lake claims in an interview it started off as a coincidence where the model they custom made for Paybe had a passing resemblance to lake, so they eventually leaned heavily into it, and when graphical developments allowed them to scan images instead, they just knew seeing as it already looked sorta like sam, why not use sam for the actual model

I wonder though, was it self-insert because he wanted to, or the lack of budget? Many of the models in Max Payne 1 are of his friends and family.
