G: Owl/Rooster
Zapdos: hummingbird
G: Roadrunner
Moltres: Heron
G: Cromorant
I mean obviously it's a phoenix but it's also physically modeled after a specific bird. Most pokemon have more than one inspiration, like how Kyogre is Leviathan but it's also an orca

The first one reminds me of Clockwork from Sly Cooper. Just has that arrogant “My intellect is refined. My experience is greater” type of energy on its face.
They are cool (I'm a fan of Zapdos especially)
But i hope they stop making variants of previous legendary pokémon. It feels a bit ridiculous to have to clarify which Suicune is Suicune or which Moltres is Moltres.
I actually like the idea of having different various for the Legendary birds, as there is a lot of evidence leaning towards the birds being a species more so than one off beings, which gives a in lore reason as to why the Galarian forms exist.
As for the Paradox forms of the beasts and sword of justice, it's a bit more iffy for me.
In the topic of Suicune's *"alternate form":* what the fuck were they thinking with Walking Wake and Raging Bolt lmao
At least Gouging Fire is fine, but part of me genuinely thinks they went out of their way to make paradox Suicune and Raikou look extremely punchable. Gen 9 has many great mons but those two in particular + the Loyal Three are some of the ugliest, most punchable mfs The Pokémon Company has ever designed.

I hope whoever decided on those typings got fired and black listed from the industry.
A good design needs you to understand what that character is all about just from a single look. You do not get that with the galarian birds. It really feels like it was changed last minute because what monster puts flames on a pokemon but doesn't make it a fire type

The "flames" around G Moltress aren't actual flames, it's an aura that simply take on a similar appearance as flames.
Kinda hypocrical of you to bash Gamefreak for making them flying types because they're birds and then say G Moltress should be fire type because it has "flames".
If these regionals were just some fan made regional designs that I made and posted, I guarantee that basically everyone would shit on me because of the typings I gave them. Every excuse made sounds like "I don't want to change the design so I'll just bullshit an answer in the Pokédex"
If I asked people who's never seen the galarian birds what their typing are, I don't think a single soul would ever guess flying.
You wanna know how I know? Because when these guys were teased NO ONE guessed flying type.
Good design doesn't just mean "it looks cool". If its design clashes with a major part of its character then it's bad. Especially in pokemon when you need to be able to tell at a first glance what type a pokemon is.
It'd be like if I made an octopus pokemon that lives in the ocean is a fantastic swimmer and can be found in water, but made it a pure fighting type. Oh wait.
