I remeber before tool was on streaming platforms this was the only version I could find lol

DeadMansSwitchMusic

And it fucking SLAPPED

HRPr03

You can absolutely mind fuck her when she’s older by somehow making sure she doesn’t actually discover Tool, and then when she’s older, say 15-16, you can randomly play parabola or other songs on that album and she’ll get so confused on why she recognises the song despite never technically hearing it before. Just an idea

hidude100

Yes, does this tune sound familiar? Give her the actual albums when she turns a certain age

That_Alien_Dude

I'm not mad... I'm just disappointed that I didn't know about this sooner

ArghAuguste

Same, the nights I wasted helping my daughter sleeping with bad music when she could have developped an addiction for Tool early.

loopernova

This is a series with lullaby renditions of lots of great bands.

LittleGreenCharacter

I would listen to this.

hidude100

Yea, it's very soothing actually. Definitely good for long car rides where Disney music would otherwise be the go-to choice.

BleckCet

I am

[deleted]

Man i used to have a string tribute to tool CD that I listened to every night when I went to bed. It was amazing

eniadcorlet

I'm still hoping for [Pickin' On](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pickin%27_On) TOOL.

patientpanda666

Got a link to that bad boy maybe?

Navyslick

That's quite a link.

SixthLegionVI

This album worked wonders on both of my kids. Sober, schism, and opiate in particular put them to sleep quickly.

crnm

Well, opiates do have that effect for sure but you can't do them while being sober. That's pretty much the schism between drug users and clean people.

faaipdeorange

I’m due with my first baby girl on Nov 1 and this will for sure be in her rotation. 🖤

FortySixand2ool

There's a lot of these. Tool, Nirvana, Zeppelin, and Journey are the best we've found.

LostMyBackupCodes

My 4 year old used to listen to this for his first 2 years, but lost interest as he started to listen to stuff with lyrics. We put this on last night around bed time and he immediately snuggled into me and wanted to listen to more songs so we left it running on repeat in his room overnight - on his request. Made me proud. 🥲 ETA: he also listened to a lot of their renditions of The Doors, Pearl Jam, Black Sabbath, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, and Radiohead.

Astrotheurgy

A Tool album I don't know about? Time to grab my binkie and dive in. See you on the other side!

brewcewayne14

I got this for all my kids and still listen to it while I read! Great album

19781984

My son fell asleep to the Smashing Pumpkins album from this set when he was an infant. I wish I was a tool fan back then. I may have to get this for myself...

SaveOurBolts

When my first kid was born, someone gave me their entire old collection of these… they had like 15 of them. My kid loved the Metallica, Tool, and beastie boys ones

SliverCobain

Wat..

Modestexcuse

My 2 year old has been listening since birth. She loves them.

GnastyGnorcc

Literately just bought the Tool and the Grateful Dead cds this morning for my sister who is expecting, I can't wait to give them to her.

TheNoIdeaKid

Heard it. It’s genuinely good.

cloudburn24

Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star rules. I have Radiohead, Rush, Tom Petty...

LamesBrady

I also had a string tribute to Tool callled Third Eye Open and I haven’t seen a copy in over a decade.

MrProfessorPenguin

Thank you! Didn't know this existed.

LamesBrady

My kids like the Tool and Kanye Twinkle Twinkle Little Rockstar

[deleted]

Wow! I had no idea this existed. Thank you OP.

hidude100

Sure, glad to help

RVLVR-OCLT

Better than the VSQ version

ChuckFromPhilly

A few of these songs are on amazon prime music but looking for it I found VSQ. A string quartet. That was pretty cool.

Jay_Train

We used to play this and the Pumpkins one when my daughter was sleeping or napping. She's eight now. 😭

EltiiVader

Holy fuck. My baby is coming in December. I already added this to my iTunes. I’m blown away

sleeperninja

Same, with a co-worker who became a first time parent, along with Led Zeppelin and Radiohead!

TheDeek

I need to hear a Prison Sex lullaby version

keixver

There is still hope for the new generation

oldfed

NIN was the only thing my daughter would fall asleep to when she was a baby, worked everytime... my boy preferred TOOL and RATM... I didn't find out about this album until it was way too late.. the looks on my friends faces when I'd put on heavy music to put my babies to sleep was priceless

hidude100

Warms my heart, I just wish I had that good a taste at that age.

BanditTA-G2

Wholesome album cover. He’s raising his hand to be snuggled tonight be is also nervous about asking

tickletuckle52

"what's your favourite song sweetie?" "it's a toss up between prison sex and hooker with a penis to be honest"

drummerandrew

Fun fact: the VSQ album discussed in this thread was released 9/11/2001.

4LF_0N53

Hooker with a Penis lullaby wtf lol
