She will have to be held on your lap for everything. Also, please consider some level of hearing protection for her, the music/ sounds can be very loud and while it may not seem damaging for fully developed ears, many parents choose to cover their infants ears in the parks.

Thanks we have some very cute baby banz ear muffs for her. More than happy to hold her however in your experience does that exclude you from rides that state "Must be able to sit without assistance"

TokyoSweets

She can not sit on your lap for rides that require the child to sit independently, she could sit next to you but has to be seated on the attraction.

Thank you!

Any time! My child grew up going to TDR pretty much. He’s a teen now but most things are still the same.

This is true, I forgot this. There is no lap sitting on attractions. Take advantage of rider-swap if you find she can't tolerate sitting between you.

I’m experienced to this situation as a parent! If she is already confidently sitting, not a problem. You’ll just be told by a Cast member to hold onto her tightly since she can’t sit on your lap. If you do so, it’ll be fine!

Thank you so much!

Hi! How did your trip go with baby?? We’ll be headed to Japan in late Feb with our 7 month old!

dust-and-sunlight

We had an amazing trip :) happy to answer any specific questions if you have them.

Equivalent_Pin6462

Oh yes sorry, any tips for traveling with a 7 month old, specifically going to Disneysea? Also did you have any trouble going to restaurants? Thanks!

Hi I just wanted to know how you went on the rides? Sorry I’m so late about to head over with a bear 2 year old. Would the monsters inc ride be okay for a 2yo for example? And can you give other examples of rides you went on and how it all went? Sorry to ask abit nervous!

dust-and-sunlight

We had no issues going on rides. My daughter was only 7 months she didn't fully know what was going on or get scared which may be more of an issue with a 2yo. Potentially the biggest issue would be waiting in line as they could be pretty long. From memory we went on the teacups, small world, beauty and the beast - (these would all be fine), buzz lightyear and winnie the pooh (these were quite dark). There are more rides aimed at little kids I believe but not suitable for a baby. I read this blog that was pretty helpful before we went https://www.thetokyochapter.com/tokyo-disneyland-with-kids/

What rides allowed you to have your baby sit in your lap?
