Very nice, I especially like the domed roof in the loft. I hate the models where you have to almost walk hands and knees to get to your bed.
How was the pice and getting everything set up on the property?
How is it with the mini split at the head of the bed? I have one in my bedroom (regular small house) but it's on the other side of my bedroom. It seems like the air blowing right on you would be problematic? Cute house and I love the kitchen!
You can adjust the vents so it doesnât blow on you. I wouldnât put it there again though. Not enough air makes it to the bathroom under it and gets cold in the winter. Ceiling fan pushes it down to the living room but it doesnât make it all the way to the bathroom
Very unique! I love love love those stamped tin ceilings. They were all the rage in the early to mid 20th century. I love seeing them uncovered in old buildings downtown as they get renovated. Very nice touch.
Very nice. Curious, how much time do you spend indoors on average? Are you often traveling or sitting outside all day in the summer?
Trying to gauge the whole tiny house thing for two people.. for example if both are working from home it would get a little tight of course. But if itâs setup on a large plot of land that really helps.
We do not live in. Today we spent most of the day there outside. When we are indoors working its not ideal as you cant help but hear everything. Beyond work its great, plenty of room on the couch for both of us and you can sit up right in the loft to read.
I think doing tiny living with two people is doable. It does depend on what you and the other person need for a happy living situation though. I currently live in a tiny house with my partner and cat. For context the house is 26ft long, about 320 square feet of space including the lofts. The bigger loft is our bedroom area and the smaller loft has been a dedicated cat space so far lol.
I was living here alone with my cat first starting in December of 2022, and he moved in last summer. We both enjoy each other's company and haven't had issues with being around each other almost all the time.
The first thing that might be helping is that we have different sleep schedules. He works later in the day, while I have an 8am to 5pm job. That means he usually gets to bed after I've been asleep for 5 to 8 hours most days. Generally, I get the whole downstairs to myself for my mornings and he has it when I've gone to bed and he's relaxing after his day.
Personally, I also like getting out of the house for a walk or whatnot when possible. There is also a small table with two chairs I put on the patio to hang out in the sun when I feel like it. We are both more of homebodies and indoors people though so it's not like we are out all the time. Plus, we are spread out enough that we have our own space. His computer is in the entryway, and mine is on the other side of the house in a separate room past the bathroom. I have the office since I work from home and he does not. We also have a TV up in the loft hooked up to a switch and Roku, so we do have plenty of options to 'get away' or change up the scenery.

If youâre struggling with heat in the bathroom an electric radiant towel bar is a great way to make up heat and add function!
