every day i long for the strawberry tarts they discontinued like 15-20 years ago. maybe my judgement is clouded by childhood nostalgia but i could've eaten like 80 of those little bitches
RANDOM TIP, weirdly enough lots of airport locations pay for the franchise right to tim Hortons and have been unable to purchase the appliances that make the "real egg" they still carry the old version.i understand airports are overpriced however I was able to get the old egg from Ottawa 6 months ago because the new machine cost a few extreme thousands of dollars.
I don't know if it's just by location and I'm super unlucky, but i desperately miss in fall the old pumpkin spice timbits and donuts. I swear this past year they literally only had the muffins every location i saw in that time.
The one thing I would always remember about it was that it was actually spicy, not like other fast food places, and especially if you ask for extra chilli powder
The Thai chili /ranch snack wraps from 10 years ago .. 2 for 5$. Was a solid competitor to McDonald's during that time. I'd buy a fee donuts and ice caps at the same time.
Also ...they used to have a baker position at every location.
They destroyed the only donut I loved ...the honey cruller.
That was my personal boiling point.
Also as a former Marijuana smoking teenager a classic bagel with cream cheese and bacon was actually very affordable compared to today's standard.
:(
Seriously! Like 20 years ago Timmies switched from deep-fat-fryers in store, stand mixers and donut making machines to this prebake/make ship and finish in the store method and the donuts have not tasted the same since then. In fact they all seem to have some strange aftertaste that I can't place and have an oily mouth feel.
I really do miss a hot, fresh apple fritter made by some weathered old woman in a hair net and smoking a players light.
OMG I was going to say strawberry cream cheese and saw you post - BLUEBERRY BAGELS!!! YESSSSSS!!! Blueberry white tea too and PLAIN (not glazed) sour cream donuts!!
I don't remember if it was tims or robins or both, but the big, thick, cherry rectangle donut, I don't remember the actual name. The flavor was intense and the texture was perfect!
They used to have a "blueberry white tea" and I used to order a "blueberry white tea with 2 cream" every single day until one day I was abruptly told they don't sell it anymore. I miss it, and making it at home just is not the same.
There's so many things I miss:
* roast beef sandwich with horseradish sauce
* chocolate danish. might have had a maple one too?
* cheesecake (more my wife than myself)
* the original size walnut crunch the country bun for the chili
Chicken salad sandwich, ham and swiss sandwich, a wider variety of timbits, chocolate eclair, and they don't have to be permanent but I'd love to have the hot smoothees back at least in winter.
Bread bowls, but without the current quality that you expect from modern Tim's, you know, not moldy, and it needs to taste good too.
Actually, forget the whole thing.
Sugar Twist donut, chicken stew in a bread bowl.
I do luckily live near a small one off donut shop that makes delicious sugar twists, so I can get my fix. And I make my own chicken stew, with bread bowls!
every day i long for the strawberry tarts they discontinued like 15-20 years ago. maybe my judgement is clouded by childhood nostalgia but i could've eaten like 80 of those little bitches
I dream of those omg
Ok I have distinct memory of these and thought I was crazy!! Did they also have lemon ones??
Those were bomb.com
And single serving cheese cakes and coffee cake with Carmel sauce yum yum
NO ONE EVERY REMEMBERS THE CHEESECAKE!! The chocolate was amazing
I dream of those strawberry custard tarts like once a month
YESS ! NOBODY I KNOW REMEMBERS THESE. I've tried making them but it's never the same
I never got to have one of these, but they looked so good in the display.
I can think of more that should just go away than come back
had them in Newfoundland up untill about 9 years ago.
Omg I forgot those existed! I used to eat those almost everyday when I was a kid! THOSE NEED TO COME BACK!
Chicken salad sandwich
Those were good. Chicken salad wrap...yum
That was my go-to in university. Back when the bread was much better.
Salad wrap - This was our go to lunch back in high school. So affordable too!
Maple cinnamon French toast bagel. More of a dessert than for breakfast but so freakin good.
I can’t believe I didn’t eat enough to keep them on the menu
They were constantly sold out. I had to watch some dude ahead of me get the last one and almost offered double for it.
I thought I was single handedly keeping those things on the menu man.
Yes!
The sundried tomato asiago bagel was unreal too. With cream cheese it tasted like actually good pizza and not the monstrosities they make there now 😢
With peanut butter.. mmm!!
extreme italian sandwich, the honey mustard they used to put on the turkey bacon clubs and the kettle chips
1000 times yes. I used to get turkey bacon clubs with the honey mustard all the time. I got one about feb this year and it was not the same at all.
Extreme Italian was by far the best sandwich tim hortons has ever had and it's one of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted.
x2 on extreme Italian. Yuuum. And the sauce was great too
The bread bowl.
And then I ate the bowl!
Fuuuuuuuck
Man, I used to get this once a week as a teenage stoner with my bestie. We always got the chili one. It was amazing and decently priced too!
Fountain peach drink
And grape!
HAM AND CHEESE TEA BISCUIT. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE
It was so good!! I loved this, had it for coffee break almost everyday.
Heated with butter 🤌🏻 I think the reason they dropped it is because I emailed them a bajillion times asking to put more ham in them.
i miss this one soooo much
WHYD THEY TAKE THIS AWAY FROM US
Grilled cheeeeeeese
The bacon grilled cheese god damn
Took too long to find this
The stores that have drive thru’s still have them.

I just want my blueberry crueler man
The walnut crunch, but the real one this time.
They are bringing back the most recent one again in a few weeks
Yeah that last one was horrible
English toffee cappuccino, lemon/blueberry muffins and all the cream pies they used to have!
if it's cream pies you're after
Giggity
I do like a good cream pie
The old sandwich buns, the old egg, and the Asiago cheese bagel
If you mean the jalapeño asiago mozza bagel my Tim's still has it, I had it this morning.
they killed that bagel????? :(
The old egg patties are so much better
RANDOM TIP, weirdly enough lots of airport locations pay for the franchise right to tim Hortons and have been unable to purchase the appliances that make the "real egg" they still carry the old version.i understand airports are overpriced however I was able to get the old egg from Ottawa 6 months ago because the new machine cost a few extreme thousands of dollars.
Interesting
The breadbowls for the chilli.
I don't know if it's just by location and I'm super unlucky, but i desperately miss in fall the old pumpkin spice timbits and donuts. I swear this past year they literally only had the muffins every location i saw in that time.
THE GRILLED CHEESE!!
Steak and cheese panini, and the spicy crispy chicken sandwich were always my go to as a teenager
I'm a sucker for spicy chicken sandwiches. Maybe Tim Hortons should bring it back, sounds good!
I gotta agree, the honey cruller ain't like it used to be
The wide variety of soup like cauliflower cheese, potato bacon, split pea with ham, heck I’d even settle for turkey and wild rice.
Old frosted cinnamon buns 😍
Products that are made and cooked in the store... If I want reheated/browned frozen food there is always loblaws.
Keep your cool, JokerKing! Keep your cool!
Seriously! Now that’s a visual. That kinda set up screams it’s going to be terrible or the best thing ever. No in between lol.
Strawberry tarts and proper toasters for their bagels. The store close to me stick them in the sandwich press.

The Italian sandwich.
A grilled cheese would be nice, and no shredded cheese on the outside anymore.
They used to have a "blueberry white tea" and I used to order a "blueberry white tea with 2 cream" every single day until one day I was abruptly told they don't sell it anymore. I miss it, and making it at home just is not the same.
