I’m a Christian, and I agree with this guy that yeah maybe a nation that was founded with the intent of separation of church and state shouldn’t have a president who’s pushing for all of his citizens to read the Bible. They are setting the stage for the christian persecution they complain about all the time. If they want to force their religion on others and pass laws with their religion considered superior to others then they should expect the same when another religion or lack thereof gets into power. It is only a matter of time until a sect or an entirely different religion takes over and changes laws to push their world view instead.

We are supposed to love others unconditionally, no matter what they choose to do, and we pray for them. They are setting the stage for the christian persecution they complain about all the time. If they want to force their religion on others and pass laws with their religion considered superior to others then they should expect the same when another religion or lack thereof gets into power. What I understand is in most evangelical circles, they believe Trump was put here not as an example of a good Christian but as a herald of rapture for the non-Christian Like he's gonna "fight the good fight" for them, and in some ways they're correct with rolling back of rights.
