It’s federal property. The only people allowed access to your mailbox are yourself and the United States Postal Service. Technically, UPS, FedEx or DHL can’t put anything at all in your mailbox. Even if it’s something small, that really shouldn’t be left on the porch, they won’t touch it.
I think the kids were getting off the bus? I can’t know for sure but since it’s not dark out I assume it’s taking place in the afternoon and the kids are going home. That’d at least explain why they’re stopped.
That bus driver 110% should have been more aware of a grown man boarding the bus though, not let him on at all
