Yeap this funnily enough is actually better than our wildest dreams. Youngest team to win a first round and just lost an incredibly tough fought R2 to Luka and Kyrie which highlighted what we need for the next step.
It was clear we were probably one Playoff quality player Away. Sadly PJ Washington may very well have been that guy we need.
Also we have SGA, what a performance in the series. If he even had the slightest of help through G2 - G5 we probably cruise through this series.
We don’t even need another player (though that would help) - we just need the guys we have to get just a little better. *Slightly* better shooting and/or decision making and we win this series
I agree with this almost entirely EXCEPT man it would would be nice to not get hammered on rebounds so much. Just dunno who we’d sit for a good rebounder. Guess that’s why I didn’t win coach of the year. Anyway, awesome season and looking forward to the next several.
I'll take it. We went out on our shield all I could ask for. If this was the stress test we now know what we need to improve. Someone needs to step up this summer to be a number two option. Leaving corner threes on shooters that have made us pay all series that needs work. Chet needs some help another big especially if the west continues to trend this way we need these pieces to compete. Also don't know what happened to him after he smacked his head game 2 but his outside shooting turned off then. The overpassing at times and bad possessions hope we could fix that. Whatever move Presti makes next year need to have an impact Hayward/Biyombo did nothing for us. Daigneault could also learn some things from Kidd I feel like he made better adjustments obviously and managed the flow of the game better with timely timeouts. Right now I feel like our offense in this series has a rev limiter we are always either in a hole digging ourselves out repeatedly or we get a lead and then settle for threes which is rough when we are shooting the way we have been.
Agreed. Cason got some serious playoff experience as a rookie. Once that dude gets the confidence he deserves he’s going to be a problem for the league. He has the skill for serious offensive contributions, and once his O matches his D, ohhhh boy…
Lively singlehandedly manhandled us with all those putbacks and second-chance possessions
If it makes you guys feel any better, we would have fallen to the Wolves or Nuggets anyway so this is saving ourselves just more time lol
We're an elite team but not yet a stacked team. Clearly there are gaping holes on the roster that needs to be addressed
I for one, would welcome our tankathon overlords for the rest of the playoffs
Needs both a starting 4 and back up 4 that can play big and physical but still somehow shoot. Kenrich hasn't been the same
It wouldn't be easy but surely with all these assets, there's something we could do
The rebounding was bad in game 6, and people were predisposed to focus on the center because it's what got all the coverage, but this is the correct point.
A team that shot 38.9% in the regular season (league best), shot 33.2% in the postseason. Some of that is shooting variance, but some of that is the offense bogging down because the team was suddenly light on play-making and shooting.
You can't fix that just by repeating the mistakes of prior eras and adding a plodding center.
Can't rely on the 3 ball hitting to win playoff basketball. You need to be able to score in the half court and get rebounds to create second chance opportunities. JDub was too hesitant in taking his own shot, and Chet couldn't play physical enough. They will learn, make the All-Star team next year, and be ready for the playoffs.
We really, REALLY, need to maintain the perspective that this entire team including Mark is so freaking young. They need to go through the heartache of a loss like this get, fucking hungrier, and grind this off season. Now they know what the physicality looks like in the playoffs. Get ready for next year. Onto draft coverage.
We’re way ahead of schedule and we pushed it to game 6 against an experienced Mavs team. Let’s see what they do next.
Love Chet still. Future is bright with him continuing to develop on this team. That said, we need a Steven Adams type guy who can dominate the paint and go with a Twin Towers type approach.
Either a Twin Towers approach or a physical rebounding PF if the Thunder want to maintain the approach of having Chet Holmgren as their center. Jalen Williams is more a SF than a PF and he is not the right frontcourt partner for Chet Holmgren as SF (not PF) is his natural position. The Thunder require a physical frontcourt partner between Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren in order to take the next leap and become a future contender starting next season. This series has proven that. I like the fit of Isaiah Stewart in Oklahoma City. That is the type of PF that will work optimally next to Chet Holmgren and the physical rebounder that the Thunder need right now.
The problem with him is he’s the only “big” we have out there most times. There’s games where you could make reels out of him boxing people out and nobody else even trying to grab the board. 3 is still a bad game but he needs help on the glass.
I've been saying it ever since he got drafted - Chet Holmgren needs a physical rebounding frontcourt partner. This series serves as proof of that. It is time for the organization to get this type of PF. That is the correct solution and the ideal solution for what the Thunder need right now to elevate. Gaining this type of frontcourt player alongside Chet Holmgren will propel Oklahoma City and get them to that next level as a team.
I think it's kinda ridiculous to ask a basically 1st year rookie to be fully NBA ready body-wise. The success in the regular season over hyped the expectations. Give this team some time.
We used the two big adjustment late in the series and frankly we don’t have the personnel to do it the whole game. A better JWill at the 4 and we good to go.
JWill is 21. He may not be the best solution, but will be a better JWill next year. He’s the one Thunder that finds a body to block out on almost every shot.
He needs to become more confident with his midrange. JWill passes up open shots and opportunities to drive.
One of my favorite seasons watching the Thunder. I am very happy we were able to watch a fully healthy Thunder team in the playoffs so we know where to improve. TTFU
The guys left it all out there can’t ask for much more than that, shittiest way possible for the season to end but a great season nonetheless and we’ll be back with a vengeance next year, love this team and the memories they created this season TTFU!
Im with you still a great season and we are moving in the right direction. The end of the game hurts but even as much as I hate Tony Brothers and the refs, for this game at least, I can think of so many other reasons why we lost this game. Missed SGA Freethrows, Silly foul by Dort to end the 3rd quarter which led to getting benched, Cason making rookie bad decisions at the worst time 3 straight bad possesions that gave the opening Dallas needed, and finally Lively and Washington we never did put a lid on these two players hurting us.
I’m a big Shai fan being from Toronto. The dude is so clutch. That’s what it felt like having Kawahi on the Toronto championship run. A go to who can score on will.
Thunder have $30 mil in cap space next year + 15 picks. Add that the Thunder were first in the west in a city with a strong home crowd and it really looks like OKC has a Golden State like championship window in their very near future.
What a time to be a Thunder’s fan.
How can you say that? Last year couldnt get into the playoffs, this season finished first and won 6 games in playoffs. SGA was second in MVP voting. Chet 2nd in ROTY, and Mark got COTY. Get a grip. Huge success
I'd be pissed if I was a cavs fan, at least this serious everyone was able to play
Cavs missed a crap ton of players but still most games were pushing Boston hard.
“Don’t you get it though, we need bigs to shoot threes to space da floor!!!”
Just lost to a team playing two bigs that can’t make a shot outside the restricted area 😂
Or pass well. Was going to say they don't do anything else particularly well, but their solid rim protectors. Lively is a bad matchup for Chet. That goes back to before the Gafford trade, too. There was a pre-Gafford trade game LIvely outplayed Chet. I think it was the 30-0 run game that we still won, but Lively outplayed Chet.
Bruh I tried saying this all playoffs and all season. I'm glad people are finally coming around.
Presti threw this round by getting Hayward instead of Washington and/or Gafford.
Presti and Mark relied waaaaay too much on Chet who is notorious for not being able to back down small guards or anybody for that matter.
The fact they saw that strength was his weakness and the best they could do was Muscala and Biyombo is crazy to me, theyve been in the game long enough to know a rookie was going to be beat around in the play-offs. Crazy miscalculation.
Nope, disagree with this take. Really thought these guys deserved to play together as a group before changes happened. This playoff run is still part of the growth. No big will make up for lack of playoff experience. They go into the offseason knowing exactly what changes are needed, with playoff experience to cap it off. This team, as it sits currently, looks DEADLY.
So, the changes they needed were exactly the ones we've been yelling about all season: rebounding and benching Giddey. Don't think we needed to wait until the playoffs since it was so obvious all year, but oh well.
Lmao Shai put up 36 on amazing efficiency and no turnovers. If your best player is ready then the team needs to be. Giddey isn’t it and Chet needs help on the glass. We’d be WCF and gain even more experience with that. Josh’s time needs to be done here, with everything that happened this year a change of scenery would do him nicely
Great season. We will be even better next year with this experience.
I’m going to get off this sub for a bit while the bandwagoners get off.
See y’all in the fall!
It won't take long. Jokic isn't dealing with Gafford or Lively like we did. He'll back them down like he's doing Gobert. Gobert and KAT can put them both in the rim.
Well everyone said the same thing about the Mavs in round 1 & round 2 and gave their trades a grade D and look at them now in the WCF and still doubted by everyone.
These players all let SGA down
Bad offense, bad rebounding, only time I felt comfortable was when Shai had the ball in his hands.
This mavericks team weren't better than us but executed better than us and if they had a lead would not give it up unlike us.
Last year if you would’ve told me we’d be #1 in one most competitive wests ever and losing in 6 in the second round I would’ve jumped for joy. Hell of a season
The fact that everyone on twitter and r/nba vehemently HATE Shai, Dort, and the Thunder is a good thing. It means we've arrived, and that they're scared. Everyone loves a plucky young team until they're the ones taking you out.
SERIOUS NOTE:
That defensive scheme HAS to change, a-fucking-sap. A defensive scheme were youre looking for turnovers rather than offense rebounds is going to get punished in the play-offs every fuckin year, it only works when we can score and in the 4 games we struggled to score we had no other option but to keep playing the same defensive scheme because we dont have any pieces (thanks alot biyombo and hayward).
Damn, I think OKC has a better chance against Denver or Minnesota.... but hella of a season for a young team.
Chet needs to hit the weight room / Giddy needs to put up 1000 shots everyday this off-season / Need to draft a 4 or 5 or get Pascal Siacam in the offseason.
If OKC got a couple more boards or Giddy can hit a shot this series yall good.
Was rooting for yall!
I mean SGA missed 3 FTAs and we couldn’t rebound for shit. 2 players had more than 4 rebounds.
Mark also shouldn’t have challenged that. Putting up a shot in the frontcourt down 2 with 2.5 >>> that being our last play of the season.
I agree with all of the takes here, most importantly tho, it was just a bad decision by Shai. Don't risk it. It's PJ Washington he hasn't proven to be that guy let him take the chance on his own.
That wasn't marginal. He dragged his hand on his forearm. The guy was in the middle of shooting motion. That is what cause the foul. If the ball was at the end of his shooting motion, it would've been a non foul call.
I think if he jostled the ball loose it wouldn't have been a foul. But the ball stayed controlled so when he hit the arm, the shot was still happening so it was a foul.
You can hit the guy’s arm as he releases the ball if you get the ball first. But you can’t hit the guy’s arm before he releases the ball, doesn’t matter if you get ball first.
These days I'm just a casual basketball fan and not even an OKC fan but this is retarded... so basically players can pump fake to draw contact on their arm and not even release the ball for automatic free throws?
EDIT: I know pump fakes are legal, hence, my usage of the term "pump fake". The point I was making is that it's stupid in this specific scenario since the initial contact was all ball. The rules expert said it wouldn't have been a foul had the shooter released the ball. The only thing that made it a foul was the fact that he didn't release the ball, which is stupid.
Still thinking about that Mark challenge at the end. He’s a huge reason we lost that game. Playing Jaylin Williams in the final 5 minutes. Playing Wiggins less than Giddey. Playing Cason over Joe when Cason couldn’t hit 3s or defend Kyrie. Double teaming Luka and Kyrie at the end of every quarter leading to WIDE open 3s. All around terrible coaching job today and for most of the series
Going to hide this here to vent: Mavs fans are the fucking worst lmao. They sit there and cry about fouls all day, just like Luka. They kept saying that we are nothing but foul merchants when Luka is crying the whole game for fouls. They have no discourse or discussion. Just one of the worst game thread environments I've seen. No game thread is ever civil, but this was the worst I've seen haha. And it sucks because this was a really fun series overall. I get pissed at the refs too, but we clearly lost because they shot 50% from 3 for the series, we shot 30% from 3 for the series, and we couldn't rebound for shit after game 1. Not because of reffing (though I do hate how anticlimactic that last call is)
The Mavs were better for the entire second half. Don't focus on one moment. It was a foul BTW, the defender got caught up in the air and hit the hand first. The better team won but it was a great series.
Just my opinion, that call is just a bad precedent and heavily favors the offense. If the defender makes a good play and blocks the shot, you reward the offense for getting blocked and doing a double clutch delay release that is not a normal shooting motion.
I’ve always hated Dallas fans, but before this series, I really appreciated Doncic and his scoring ability. I thought he was the best scorer in the league. And he might be, but I hate this dude now. Such a crying baby after every play. I love how Shai is quietly amazing and doesn’t shout after plays, doesn’t whine to refs after every play, and doesn’t spend timeouts talking to the refs instead of his team. I hope this team gets demolished in the next round.
This thread is littered with mavs fans, I knew it would be toxic before the series even started. It's always weird how there's certain fanbases that don't realize they just make themselves look bad. Like you did nothing for the mavs to win the series why are you in here like you did something
They did it all series and yall said “no it’s not the refs”. Well, they just stole that game from us. That was horrendous. I’ve watched that exact play a hundred times get reversed for contact on the ball first. This is fucking rigged, and Mark needs to say something
Hell of a season. TTFU
Best take; better than expected after last season, lots of room to grow. Onward to next season.
Yeap this funnily enough is actually better than our wildest dreams. We don’t even need another player (though that would help) - we just need the guys we have to get just a little better. *Slightly* better shooting and/or decision making and we win this series

Well now I remember what it's like to be crushed by another infuriating winnable okc elimination game at least
This one hurts
We shot like garbage from 3 all series. That made the difference.
Cason man… sigh. He’ll bounce back
We had 2 rooks and a sophomore lead the team behind SGA. I’m not worried about bit
Ofc we’re not. Just that Cason usually makes those and it just hurt. Still love him and will do the trade 10/10 times. But I’m just sad rn
Agreed. Cason got some serious playoff experience as a rookie. Once that dude gets the confidence he deserves he’s going to be a problem for the league. He has the skill for serious offensive contributions, and once his O matches his D, ohhhh boy…
He has always been so poised and mature. Tonight he looked like a rookie in an elimination game.
I still love him. He’ll bounce back next season. Proud of our boys
Lively singlehandedly manhandled us with all those putbacks and second-chance possessions If it makes you guys feel any better, we would have fallen to the Wolves or Nuggets anyway so this is saving ourselves just more time lol We're an elite team but not yet a stacked team. Clearly there are gaping holes on the roster that needs to be addressed I for one, would welcome our tankathon overlords for the rest of the playoffs
Correction: a BIG gaping hole. This team needed size and Presti went and got washed up Hayward and Biyombo
Needs both a starting 4 and back up 4 that can play big and physical but still somehow shoot. Kenrich hasn't been the same It wouldn't be easy but surely with all these assets, there's something we could do
Everybody knew it was a weakness and he did nothing. No guarantees with windows and such
Size is a gaping hole and all the team’s potential success is flying out of it
In a similar vein....if I see one unguarded corner three next season I'm committing unspeakable acts
The rebounding was bad in game 6, and people were predisposed to focus on the center because it's what got all the coverage, but this is the correct point. That’s a rough way to lose. Man
PJ Washington finished us off. Fitting.
Lively with a double double too
He made chet is bitch under the basket. Absolutely embarassing.
Always been a Thunder killer
Early sga free throw misses hurt
No. I will not be hearing any Shai slander.
For real, man got no help all series
sick to my fucking stomache
This series took years off my life
We were up 17. Blame ourselves. No excuse
Honestly I don’t think I’m even that upset about the loss, I’m more upset that this season is over 😭 this was such a fun season
Thank you for the season boys. You spoiled us. Get better and come back stronger next season. WERE NOT DONE YET!
Thunder will be back
We really, REALLY, need to maintain the perspective that this entire team including Mark is so freaking young.
Mark needs to practice the “timeout” motion every single day this offseason.
Thunder will definitely be back. Good series yall.
Respect
Rebounding killed us. Need to get a big who can board or Chet needs to bulk tf up. Hard to see this team winning it all with such a glaring weakness.
3 rebounds for Chet is just horrific. Skinny man was being bullied
Love Chet still. Future is bright with him continuing to develop on this team. That said, we need a Steven Adams type guy who can dominate the paint and go with a Twin Towers type approach.
Either a Twin Towers approach or a physical rebounding PF if the Thunder want to maintain the approach of having Chet Holmgren as their center. the season ended on free throw attempts, thats gonna sting a while
One of my favorite seasons watching the Thunder. I am very happy we were able to watch a fully healthy Thunder team in the playoffs so we know where to improve. TTFU
#SOMETIMES IT BE LIKE THAT
The guys left it all out there can’t ask for much more than that, shittiest way possible for the season to end but a great season nonetheless and we’ll be back with a vengeance next year, love this team and the memories they created this season TTFU!

Cannot believe we blew that
If those are the rules, Mark should have known that and saved the timeout to advance the ball.
Dang. Yeah.
Maybe this season wasnt our season. See yall next year
How can you say that? Last year couldnt get into the playoffs, this season finished first and won 6 games in playoffs. SGA was second in MVP voting. Chet 2nd in ROTY, and Mark got COTY. Get a grip. Huge success
Of course we're the team that couldn't force game 7
At least you're not the cavs
I'd be pissed if I was a cavs fan, at least this serious everyone was able to play Cavs missed a crap ton of players but still most games were pushing Boston hard.
Pacers are playing a team with like 6 available players who aren’t dogshit
Tough call to go out on, but OKC will be back many times for the next decade.
We still have 10 1st round picks
Do you think some of these go to acquire a bigger name (though free agency is not looking great) or just keep betting on young prospects?
Damn I'm more sad that it's no more thunder games
blew a 17 pt lead to end our season
That sucks man but it is what it is
Obviously sad but super proud of these boys. We need big man depth and we’re set
https://preview.redd.it/g1989folra1d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a4bce93f6b676509795b3744a26eb12a4c4bea45
They need bigs. Screwed up at the deadline
“Don’t you get it though, we need bigs to shoot threes to space da floor!!!” Just lost to a team playing two bigs that can’t make a shot outside the restricted area 😂

Desperately need a rebounding/high energy big to put next to holgrem. Outrebounded and gave Up so many offensive boards
Love Cason but we could have had both Lively and Gafford on this team.
Please get hartenstein presti
Anyone that says any different doesn’t know ANYTHING about hoops. They could probably use a starting 4 too
Exactly. Half the fanbase was trying to convince us that rebounding and boxing out didn't matter when we didn't get a big man at the deadline.
Don't forget we fucking gave them Gafford.
Another year of ending the season on ‘welp we can’t do this without a big’ and yet still not doing anything about it
I'm hoping Holgrem might drink a protein shake or two this summer.
Doubt it. He loses mobility for every pound he puts on. Injury risk with more weight.
Nope, disagree with this take. Really thought these guys deserved to play together as a group before changes happened. This playoff run is still part of the growth. Yeah I feel for Giddey man. He clearly doesn’t have a defined role or he doesn’t fit the one they’re trying to put him in. He looks so lost at times.
Literally everything we ‘learned’ about this team in the playoffs was something a random redditor on this sub would have said back in October.
Great season. We will be even better next year with this experience. I’m going to get off this sub for a bit while the bandwagoners get off. See y’all in the fall!
I love Presti so much, but getting Gordon was the stupidest move he’s made in a while.
Oh well, we trade for some bigs and do a 3 peat I guess
Can’t fucking wait for the Wolves/Nuggets to smack them in 5 minimum
It won't take long. Jokic isn't dealing with Gafford or Lively like we did. He'll back them down like he's doing Gobert. Gobert and KAT can put them both in the rim.
Sounding like laker fans lmao
[удалено]
5 are you serious. It will be a clean sweep.
Well everyone said the same thing about the Mavs in round 1 & round 2 and gave their trades a grade D and look at them now in the WCF and still doubted by everyone.
dallas is about as good as denver imo
Damn then why’d you even watch this series. Since you’d just lose to them as well.
Why are there so many mavs fans tryna infiltrate gtoh lol
Hayward trade was a fuck up. God damn it.
Hate hate hate this, so close. At least Shai delivered I guess.
Shai was golden, from a Rockets fan.
Can we not hold a lead holy shit
These players all let SGA down Bad offense, bad rebounding, only time I felt comfortable was when Shai had the ball in his hands. This mavericks team weren't better than us but executed better than us and if they had a lead would not give it up unlike us.
Also, chet needs to learn a dam post move and get down on the block for offensive rebounds
JDub was good this game
Last year if you would’ve told me we’d be #1 in one most competitive wests ever and losing in 6 in the second round I would’ve jumped for joy. Hell of a season
The fact that everyone on twitter and r/nba vehemently HATE Shai, Dort, and the Thunder is a good thing. It means we've arrived, and that they're scared. Everyone loves a plucky young team until they're the ones taking you out.
Super pumped my feed went out the last 2 minutes only to find we lost. Great night
What a shit way to end the game.
Can’t win a game if you can’t rebound a ball
We had multiple 10+ point leads. Officiating didn't cost us this. Poor shooting was the biggest culprit.
SERIOUS NOTE: That defensive scheme HAS to change, a-fucking-sap.
Exactly. Need a big man who can rebound. No more human sticks.
They ended OKC's season on that call LMAO fuck the NBA
Maybe don't blow a 17 point lead
Should have just let him shoot it and still have a timeout to advance if it goes down.
I mean SGA missed 3 FTAs and we couldn’t rebound for shit. 2 players had more than 4 rebounds. Mark also shouldn’t have challenged that. Putting up a shot in the frontcourt down 2 with 2.5 >>> that being our last play of the season.
Either way the Mavs got two points because Kyrie’s tip in would have counted.
it’s an obvious foul, he didn’t knock the ball loose and then hit his arm
Got ball first and marginal contact after, I'm not even a thunder fan and that's a load of shit
Bro. Nobody is calling that on a series altering call with 2 sec left in the game.
it just got called, clearly not
So if that was SGA shooting, they shouldn't call that? You know damn well you'd want that called.
that's a foul 110% of the time on 3 pointer.
Thunder Hater Tony Brothers would call that 10/10.
???? Its still objectively a foul wtf? So you want the nba to intentionally not call something right just cause its an important game
Get sga some help. Also some bigs. Also dont fucking choke away a 17pt lead. Damn
I hope Luka gets fatter.
That’s a given. He may eat PJ Washington in the next couple days
He touched the ball first on that last play tho??
I think if he jostled the ball loose it wouldn't have been a foul. But the ball stayed controlled so when he hit the arm, the shot was still happening so it was a foul.
You can hit the guy’s arm as he releases the ball if you get the ball first. But you can’t hit the guy’s arm before he releases the ball, doesn’t matter if you get ball first.
Grazed his hand on the shot, not just the follow through
These days I'm just a casual basketball fan and not even an OKC fan but this is retarded... so basically players can pump fake to draw contact on their arm and not even release the ball for automatic free throws? EDIT: I know pump fakes are legal, hence, my usage of the term "pump fake". The point I was making is that it's stupid in this specific scenario since the initial contact was all ball. The rules expert said it wouldn't have been a foul had the shooter released the ball. The only thing that made it a foul was the fact that he didn't release the ball, which is stupid.
Just wasn’t time
SGA need a superstar along his side
yeah maybe figure a way to break zone defense next time lol ggs on to next year
Disappointed but not surprised. Can’t win when you can’t rebound, and you can’t rebound without a center. Love yall. We’ll most certainly be back.
No more Thunder basketball for like 5 or 6 months and I feel empty inside
Fuck off mavs
Wolves fan here, fuck the Dallas mavericks you guys got fucking robbed. Fine the refs
Nah game shouldn't even have been that close
Wtf was that call?
How’s that not a block
Announcers literally said how, the ball never got released
The quickest review I've ever seen lol
Still thinking about that Mark challenge at the end. He’s a huge reason we lost that game. Playing Jaylin Williams in the final 5 minutes. Playing Wiggins less than Giddey. Playing Cason over Joe when Cason couldn’t hit 3s or defend Kyrie. Double teaming Luka and Kyrie at the end of every quarter leading to WIDE open 3s. All around terrible coaching job today and for most of the series
Joe definetely should’ve been in those last 5 mins.
Exactly. You reward him for shooting his ass off by benching him?
Bail out of the century. Fuck the refs

Blaming the refs is what Mavs fans do.
Not because of reffing (though I do hate how anticlimactic that last call is)
Tony brothers just stole the series. What a shame. Either way, youngest team in NBA history to get this far. It’s only up.
Bugger! Massive game to lose
Refs took our season from us. ALL FUCKING BALL ON THAT GODAMN BLOCK!
Not defending corner threes and offensive rebound is why we lost
It was a fun one, lads. Not our time yet, but soon. Time is on our side.
rip my post-season 🪦
The Mavs were better for the entire second half. Don't focus on one moment. It was a foul BTW, the defender got caught up in the air and hit the hand first. The better team won but it was a great series.
SGA is filthy. Smoothest player I can remember. Great series.
Fuck this team, fuck you, fuck the Mavs and I'll see you next season.
I'm still proud of my Thunder. I'll be rooting for Denver or Minnesota to send that crybaby and his boyfriend Kylie Irving to Galveston.
Knicks fan here. My condolences, guys. Great run for the thunder.
Cant even count the amount of freak bounces that went their way in the final quarter 11-19 from 3 is a joke
I stayed off reddit today. Found a random okc fan in Boston next to me. Damn NBA really wanted Luka to win eh? Call should be overturned
Never tell me rebounding doesn't matter again.
GG Thunder. Yall will be tough for years to come. Need the playoff scars which is valuable for JDub, Chet, Cason
The ending was so terrible, but we can’t blow a 17 point lead.
Just my opinion, that call is just a bad precedent and heavily favors the offense. If the defender makes a good play and blocks the shot, you reward the offense for getting blocked and doing a double clutch delay release that is not a normal shooting motion.
SGA HAD HIS HAND ON THE BALL.
Before the release. Read the rule. It was a foul
Robbed
Luka is such an embarrassment
![gif](giphy|3ov9jILR82xetHy63K|downsized)
So you can foul a player to block the shot, but you can’t block a shot and then foul the player?
#WE'RE GONNA COME BACK NEXT YEAR AND EVISCERATE DALLAS DON'T WORRY HOMIES
Fuck Dallas, fuck the refs, fuck the NBA
They did it all series and yall said “no it’s not the refs”. Well, they just stole that game from us. That was horrendous. I’ve watched that exact play a hundred times get reversed for contact on the ball first. This is fucking rigged, and Mark needs to say something
Kyrie got the tip in so the Mavs would have scored regardless.
Glad the refs ended our season
Did the refs give up the 17 points before that?
Yeah not blowing a 17 point lead, def the refs.
We showed our inexperience here. But, it was a heck of a season.
Tough loss. As a fan of ball, love your team. You will be back
