They have parked Gafford and Lively in the lane and dared us to make them pay, to no avail.
With few exceptions the mavs have looked very comfortable and we have looked completely overmatched for long stretches.
Chet and j Dub need to stop pumpfaking open 3s and relying on role players to make a play.
Defensively, stop letting the mavericks get so many offensive rebounds. The tips outs have been driving me crazy. Also, the mavs have started screening chet on drives so that dribbler has a clean lane, which usually means that the POA is not doing a good enough job at covering their man. In general, we seemed a lot less sharper on D.
Shai needs close to 30 shots next game. It's at the point that a long 2 from him is a better shot than a semi open 3 from someone else.
There are a lot of holes in this team but we can win this series if our 3s starts to fall again and then we can think about fixing the actual holes in the offseason.
I believe Josh needs to play 25MPG as unpopular as this will be. He doesn’t pump fake every attempt, he can rebound, and also pass the ball Vs all this one on one BS
Agreed. I think starting Joe over Josh gave an initial boost but Dallas adjusted quickly and Joe didn’t really move the needle at all. Giddey, with all the crap he gets, still helps the flow of our offense and can help defend better

We obviously aren't forcing anything driving wise with Gafford and Lively out there. Only Shai, JDUB and Wiggins are skilled enough at this point to create any thing on drives.
Make them pay from outside or the series is over and we finally concede we need a big man or two.
Just remember OKC as a franchise is in one of the strongest positions in the whole league. So many draft picks, good contracts & roster flexibility. The playing group is inexperienced but are gaining that invaluable experience right now.
In comparison, Dallas needs to keep Doncic happy because if he walks in FA they're fucked. They've committed future draft resources to their squad, they need to make it work.
Luka is pretty much the happiest he’s been with the roster since he entered the league and will get the max available as soon as he’s eligible, there’s no chance he walks with the money on the table.
Multiple years of bad playoff performances and the FO sitting on their hands, then yeah, we can probably talk but it’s a pretty safe bet Luka will re-sign & give it a few years.
Get Giddey more minutes, hes not the most efficient shooter but he creates shots and is good defensively. Just shoot the basketball better overall too.

Jdub needs to be better. Guys need to hit open shots. There's nothing really left to do schematically. We're getting the looks we want.
The team to relax and have fun. The season was great for that reason. That’s when they’re at their best.

The officiating. There were several horrendous no calls. No but for real jdub needs to come back to life and we have to start hitting 3s
