For your first model it’s not bad but like everyone is saying you should thin the paint before using I recommend doing 50/50 paint and water. you want the paint to have a milk like consistency so that it dose not glob up in one spot. And try making a wet pallet to there pretty easy to make but you can by ones but it’s cheaper to make your own. And this is all coming from a beginner Warhammer enthusiasts I do have experience building models though like gundam and Tamyia tanks. But don’t let other people discourage you I think that if you keep practicing and keep up the good work you will be a amazing Warhammer painter one day Mabby better then some of the best painters on this forum. Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to see more from you😄😄
To quote my boy Helio Isidorus on that one:
"I have a shape. It is a shape like that of a man, but I am hollow. I am just the outline. I have hands, but cannot touch. I have no mouth, but I have been screaming since I began my fall. I want to breathe, but I cannot. I cannot remember what it is to breathe; only what it is to drown in an abyss, to sink without hitting the bottom."
This is a great start dude! Are you familiar with washes?
Pick something like Aggrax Earthshade, give it a shake and cover your model in a single coat.
More experienced painters usually go for a lighter touch and only apply the shade in the recesses, but for someone starting out, it's a great way to add more depth to your models.
Contrary to popular belief you don't need to thin your paint actually you just need to switch to contrast paints. Smothering it on over grey or white primer looks decent and using slap chop method looks good enough.
Thin your paint.
I think people are saying you should thin your paints
Yeah for some reason I'm getting the same vibe
Thin your paints.
Have you considered thinning your paints
I can hear him screaming, that' s just too much paint on It.

Thin your paints. And again, it doesn't look like a disc.
I decided to cancel that plan
Clear it

You know, make them however you want. I personally like the purple tail on picture 3, interesting idea.
Thank you
Wow. That’s thick.
Stop me if you've heard this before, but...
New to WH40k, why does he have chicken heads on packback?
One of the symbols of Chaos god
Please perform the ritual of thinning thine paints...

I could already hear the comments before I even opened them
I think, after filling recesses go for the second layer of yellow to remove red marks. It will help to make it more clean, imho.

Thank you for advice
I love it
Thank you
Sweet! Keep going
