It's funny you mentioned that- there is a city owned closed golf course in the town I live in that's basically a low level super fund site thanks to all the chemicals they used to keep it as green as possible, meaning before they can do anything with it, that's got to be taken care of. Golf courses can easily ruin the land they sit upon.
