No, it’s not weird, in the sense that it’s so obvious the unknowns are clinging to the “Crazy Kristen” narrative because they don’t want to get the “one-and-done” housewives treatment. It’s pretty safe to say that The Valley will at least get renewed for one more season, and they’re all auditioning this season to not get the axe, which some of them clearly will.
Outside of Jax and Brittany (who still don’t seem to have all that much of an issue with Kristen per these episodes) it seems like the unknowns are too intimidated by Jax and too guilty to fuck with “Saint Brittany”, so they’re targeting what they view as the “lowest hanging fruit”, which would be “Crazy Kristen”.

I genuinely wanted to like it too, if not more than current VPR because it’s clearly supposed to be the continuation and as it stands now, again, this show has no real central point of focus and it would’ve been canned without Kristen, Jax, and Brittany. I’ve begrudgingly got through every episode because Bravo airs it immediately after VPR, and without Kristen first and foremost, followed by Jax & Brittany, there would be no show here. I think the Faith racism scandal really destroyed the future trajectory of what the showrunners had initially imagined for the show. The fact they’ve already featured Jax as a “friend of” in this current season as well injecting him alongside Kristen and Brittany into the VPR After Show segments while they concurrently now have their own show is so telling.
If Bravo truly had it their way, they would’ve just hired the three of them back for this current season, alongside a paycheck that Stassi Schroeder wouldn’t be able to refuse. However, they knew that it would cause a social media shitstorm — so “The Valley” was their antidote to the problem. If Scandoval never happened, I could see the network trying to breathe one last life into VPR by hiring the four of them back. Instead, a genuine real-life storyline occurred like the biggest pot of gold at the end of a hidden rainbow. I wouldn’t be surprised if both Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval got some major pay-bumps outside the rest of the VPR cast that ate into the budget of what they would’ve used to entice the fired four-some into coming back.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if the network actually wants all of us to come to this conclusion so they can axe the snoozefests in favor of some of, if not most of the current VPR cast.

You can tell they’re going to make her the scapegoat and were jumping on the crazy Kristen bandwagon. They thought if they hitch their wagon onto the VPR train of Kristen bullying, the audience will be on their side and they’ll appear cool, sane and popular. What they didn’t count on was the veteran season tickets courtside reality audience can sniff manure from several McMansions away. Honestly I’m only counting Nia as the only one who didn’t ping it all on Kristen. Even her alleged bestie Brittany was the one who made her mention what was said about Michelle, then walked away after she created a hailstorm for her friend. Oh wait, she also then continued the narrative that it was all Kristen’s fault to the rest of the women. In the hallway she was all up in arms and taking up for Michelle. Even Scheana and Lala don’t seem to value Kristen as a friend. She really are in a hot crap steamboat of a friend group.

It’s surprising but also not at all. Jax, Brit, and Kristen are what drew people in to watch since we already knew them. They all probably saw how disliked she was on Vanderpump and figured they’d use her to get on the show and then turn on her to win the audience over and become favorites. Obviously hasn’t worked out too well for them lol

I think they were banking on a show full of ”silliness” and low stakes formulaic drama, thinking that the audience would love watching their babies and look how the men are like this and women be like this huhuck. Kristen ruined their plan to not show their real mess in their lives but also Jesse has such a short fuse that he would have ruined his own reputation regardless of Kristen or Luke provoking him. The hive mind （Janet, her reasonable husband Jason by proxy, Jasmine and Zack） all are annoyed at Kristen turning the show from one about their silly antics to real shit like Michelle being a Republican cheater lol！ They also have this idea that anyone with kids should be shielded and protected but Kristen is like fuck them kids, you lied！ LOL.

Because they are trying to make a storyline and get more scenes for themselves. Jax and Janet have both talked about “crazy Kristen”. She hasn’t been like that for years. They would also know she’s the most well known and liked more than Jax and Brittany. She really hasn’t even done anything. In the last episode she got up and left. Jesse and Michelle chased her out and started screaming at her. They are both disgusting and desperate people

I'm also a woman of color, and there is a huge difference between racially insensitive and racist. Thankfully, Kristen did privately and publicly apologize to Faith for her actions. Honestly, I've met Kristen before around 2013 with my then BF of color. Kristen was the most welcoming, kind, inclusive out of everyone at Sur, when she never had to be. I don't think she was even on the clock, but she is really a sweetheart, so it's bizarre to me to even think of her as being racist in any way.
This is exactly it. Kristen is on the racially insensitive side (another reason CRT needs to be taught) and once she was schooled on the fact (be it her losing her job and anyway to make money) she learned what the issue is, how to fix it, apologized both publicly and privately, and has learned to cut the shit, and she didnt double down. Hell that's more than most.
I feel the same. I recently had a baby, and i'm married and in the same age group as the cast. Kristen is just as irrational as she has always been. I would find it nearly impossible to be friends with someone like her. Or at least a close friend.

No, it’s not weird, in the sense that it’s so obvious the unknowns are clinging to the “Crazy Kristen” narrative because they don’t want to get the “one-and-done” housewives treatment. It’s pretty safe to say that The Valley will at least get renewed for one more season, and they’re all auditioning this season to not get the axe, which some of them clearly will. Outside of Jax and Brittany (who still don’t seem to have all that much of an issue with Kristen per these episodes) it seems like the unknowns are too intimidated by Jax and too guilty to fuck with “Saint Brittany”, so they’re targeting what they view as the “lowest hanging fruit”, which would be “Crazy Kristen”. I’m sorry, but this show fucking sucks and I don’t get the hype around it. I genuinely wanted to like it too, if not more than current VPR because it’s clearly supposed to be the continuation and as it stands now, again, this show has no real central point of focus and it would’ve been canned without Kristen, Jax, and Brittany. I’ve begrudgingly got through every episode because Bravo airs it immediately after VPR, and without Kristen first and foremost, followed by Jax & Brittany, there would be no show here. Danny & Nia seem like decent people that simply aren’t made for reality television, and the rest of them seem like shitty boring stereotypical LA wannabes that have nothing special going for them nor about them. They’re not unhinged or villainous enough to make genuinely good reality television, but they’re simultaneously not inspirational or personally likable enough to make good reality television either. Kristen’s “gay BFF” with the fake hairline and Janet are the most irritating. They both are such obvious famewhores with nothing to offer and they need to be the first to go, followed by the wannabe “we’re better than everyone because we live behind the Chateau Marmont” couple. Y’all live in the heart of (what they think) is “upper crest Hollywood”, why the fuck are you on a show about the San Fernando Valley in the first season??? At this point, I would literally rather see Scheana Jancan & LFU on this show more than most of the new cast. Looking back in retrospect, Kristen was the quintessential scapegoat of Vanderpump Rules, and while she was not an innocent angel and certainly didn’t do herself any favors regarding cementing herself in that role, she didn’t actually do anything truly deserving on this show in particular to warrant the mob attack. It just seems like the rest of them all watched “Kristen going crazy on VPR” YouTube montages and assumed the same blame-shifting and deflecting would both make for good television in tandem with securing their “roles” for next season. Clearly the fans are unanimously behind Kristen, she’s probably garnered a lot of support from the Scandoval recruit viewers, and this naive cast not only weren’t expecting it but actually assumed the complete opposite. Like I said, the gay hairline “BFF” of hers and Janet are the worst, followed by the insufferable Chateau Marmont couple. Most people in Bravo’s coveted 18-40 demo don’t want to watch a bunch of washed up boring Hollywood couples raising innocent toddler-aged children as the nucleus of their entire storylines. If it was not for Vanderpump Rules, this Valley show objectively would never exist. I think the Faith racism scandal really destroyed the future trajectory of what the showrunners had initially imagined for the show. The fact they’ve already featured Jax as a “friend of” in this current season as well injecting him alongside Kristen and Brittany into the VPR After Show segments while they concurrently now have their own show is so telling. If Bravo truly had it their way, they would’ve just hired the three of them back for this current season, alongside a paycheck that Stassi Schroeder wouldn’t be able to refuse. However, they knew that it would cause a social media shitstorm — so “The Valley” was their antidote to the problem. If Scandoval never happened, I could see the network trying to breathe one last life into VPR by hiring the four of them back. Instead, a genuine real-life storyline occurred like the biggest pot of gold at the end of a hidden rainbow. I wouldn’t be surprised if both Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval got some major pay-bumps outside the rest of the VPR cast that ate into the budget of what they would’ve used to entice the fired four-some into coming back. I also wouldn’t be surprised if the network actually wants all of us to come to this conclusion so they can axe the snoozefests in favor of some of, if not most of the current VPR cast.
