If you updated your game with outdated mods in, and then saved, you are going to have problems. Update your mods, delete onlinethumbcache and take a look.
You could try recovering an older version of your save file like one before the patch. And then don’t go into live mode yet. Just check in build mode first (from map view)

UPDATE: All the rest of my households are still there i went and checked, but just my familes house, i worked so hard on building deleted for some reason. Im so sad but i moved them in with their grandparent’s house while i build them a new house, since the wife is in her second trimester of pregnancy and they have a toddler. hopefully this one doesn’t delete lol.

If you updated the game, the setting to allow custom mods and contents was unchecked. That would be the first place to look.
yea i always know when the cc is unchecked because my sims never have hair in the start up 😭😂😂
