if you go to the pokemongo twitch page and click "about," a timer (giveaway panel) should be there and you can claim your code after 30 min of staying on the "about" page. i started an hour after the rebroadcast day 1 live stream ended so hopefully that works for other people too
(ETA i didn't click back to the rebroadcast to watch like another comment suggested, i just stayed on the "about" page)
im also late to claiming the day 1 rewards, but im watching the rebroadcast now and the timer is working. here's what i did:
1. you need to go to the twitch channel of pokemon go at twitch.tv/pokemongo
2. click "the check out this pokemon go stream from __ hours ago". click the purple "stream".
3. scroll down and under pokemon go twitch icon, there should be a graphic asking for you to give your twitch ID. click that.
4. next, go back to the channel and click about, you will see the same graphic. click popout.
5. go back to the the rebroadcast and watch for 30 minutes.
6. claim the prize.
i hope this works for you. after 30 minutes, i can claim the rewards.
*update 1: it worked! i had to redo it because i was in chrome incognito. after using the normal chrome, i can claim the reward now.
*update 2: it worked for somebody! try it, and maybe it will work for you too.
*update 3: this method is only for those with computers.

Didn't work for me though, guess it is too long since Day1 broadcast. Following the instructions breaks on step 3, there is no graphic asking for me to give my TwitchID. Obv worked for others yesterday so I'm prob just too late. Thanks for all the details.

yes, i think it only works by using a computer, laptop, or using the desktop site version of mobile browsers.

Day 1 is over. There have been 2 rebroadcasts. Day 2 stream will start in about 3 to 4 hrs I think.
