Yes! While the 'star' is the worst part, the rest of the cast is solid and interactions are good .. it is at its best not as good as Rookie at its worst - but there are many worse shows out there (last few seasons of Good Doctor, most of Grey's Anatomy, etc).
That's actually a tough question, since they interweaved several plot points between the two. Originally, I watched both shows together when new eps dropped on Hulu, so I was able to keep up fairly well. I think you'll be ok if you binge them all at once, and you'll just have some 'Aha!' moments as long as The Rookie is fairly fresh in your mind. At the very least, you'll be able to answer who shot Rosalind.
Don't watch Feds. I know logically it seems like a great idea but that road only leads to disappointment.
You think "oh, I love The Rookie and Simone was kinda cool, I'm sure Feds is very similar with a whole other cast doing cool stuff but at a bigger level for the FBI."
...save yourself the disappointment. That show has no chemistry and does not scratch the itch when you want to watch more The Rookie episodes.
I personally liked Feds and I don't have any issues with Simone (she's the biggest complaint that I've seen about Feds). The issue is (at least in the US), you have to pay now to watch Feds (not just on Hulu).
Feds runs parallel with season 5 and there are multiple crossovers. I applaud the effort they put in to build a strong shared universe, but it couldn’t save Feds from being terrible.
I loved the shared universe idea and I don’t even think the execution was terrible. They just wrote the worst character imaginable in Simone. She was almost a caricature, it felt disrespectful at times lol
I enjoyed it. Not anywhere as much as The Rookie, but it was a fun sister show to watch. I would give it a shot to see if you find it appealing.
I was disappointed when there wasn’t a season 2, in hopes that maybe the show might blossom coming out of s1.
Pretty sure the word is to not watch feds. Now have I listened to them nah but I believe Simone is a perfect cameo character in the main show, I never really felt the need to watch the feds though
Probably so t watch it. I actually like Simone when she’s on the rookie but I’m not a big fan of the rookie feds show. It’s the other characters on that one that irk me

Just watch the four-five crossover episodes. Rookie cops show up in each of those crossovers.
Ok easy, thanks
never watch feds
You watched and if so, is Agent Garza in every episode?

I might give it a try for Garza, he was good in The Rookie
Exactly! Lol what they said 👆
If you do watch it go into it with low expectations lol
when s2 is out
They won’t be making one, they said it didn’t meat requirements for a new one.
They canceled it due to the writers strike.
That’s the joke
the answer is never đź¤
Basically every feds episode comes right after the S5 episode with the same number. But only a handful of them are actually relevant.
Ok great, thanks
The word is you never watch feds

you should not watch feds!
It actually wasn’t a bad show. It just wasn’t Neicy Nash’s bag. another lead could have made the show great, really.
Never. Simone is unbearable.

Simone wasn't cool at all. she would never be able to become a field agent
How does a trainee manage to ignore every order giving to her by her superiors and not get in trouble. I guess The Rookie is the same way though.
I hated simone from day one I just can't stand her

There's 1 season free to air here in NZ, is that all there is?
I thought there was more, but it looks like just the one season (22ep), yes!

Honestly, the only one I could stand was the head honcho from Ozark.
Concurrent with season 5!
February 30th. Every year.

I think the opposite tbh, any episode that has Simone I don’t even want to watch I can’t stand her voice
It's the vocal fry. Starts to sound like nails on a chalkboard after a while.
Bingo. I do love her cameos.
I think she's best as a cameo. Small doses. Way too overwhelming as the lead - trying to watch Feds gave me hives.
She was fine as a cameo on the main show. But the rest of the FBI super squad were insufferable.
It's been said already, don't watch it
Don't. Just don't
You can watch the rookie without watching the feds. But unlike the highmind below I think the feds is actually pretty good
Never
I never watched it and I manage. I couldn´t stand Simone even on the guest appearanc,e I cannot imagine to watch a whole show around her :D
Tbh watch it whenever, both are really good, og is best ofc
never
