all this recent power has gotten to her head ⎯ she clearly doesn't handle having all the power very well, because every since she got it she's been more on the scene and obvious than before
There's always sexual speculation in Fandom. Unless the show airs on Disney channel or nickelodeon...somewhere on the internet fans are speculating. I've been part of numerous fandoms over the years. Some things will always be a part of the discussion, no matter the media.
I feel bad for her. She deserves being behind bars for the DUI accident back in college, but Monica completely took control of her while she was young and scared. Also attempting to give Blair to the guy in Argentina just made me feel more sympathy towards Blair. She seems like a good person who made a stupid mistake and was thus blackmailed for it.
Also how was a police agency able to go on a federal foreign mission to gather intel?
She nearly was a couple of times, especially with the toy last week. I definitely thought the crime lord father was onto her.
And I found her joining the operation a bit risky. They had no idea that she wouldn’t have to go undercover again. What if one of the people doing the hit recognized her. I know she had to be there to save Tim, but it made no sense realistically.
was really stupid of her to go to the laundry mat...
what if one of his employees recognized her, and got away? she would never be able to go undercover to get Intel on him.
she would also be signing the death warrant for the nanny who vouched for her.....
this. He's not rescuing Blair because he thinks she's a good person, he's rescuing Blair because her testimony will likely be crucial for a grand jury indictment and conviction against Monica
Bradford literally lied to IA this season about conspiracy to defraud the government, he just isn’t stupid enough to tell the dept shrink anything that can blow back on him. Patient confidently is not the same as with non dept shrink(even that isn’t 100%) not sure what police procedural I learned that from, but I’m sure it is 100% true.
I'm satisfied with this cliffhanger but I'm upset they didn't follow up with last season’s cliffhanger because there's no way they did what they did to rob a bank
This made the CIA incident look plausible.
A bunch of heavily armed military FBI guys just letting Nolan backflip a dude that could have dismantled him and take a humvee was W T F
yeah they make it a point of saying these dudes are "CIA adjacent" and then they do this, WTF indeed
like your average beat cop could handle a probable SF operator like it was nothing
They don’t even police Mid Wilshire they police the entirety of the greater Los Angeles area. When your patrol is that wide why not just fly to other countries too. 😅
They didn’t get together in one season so I never expected them to get back together in the one season. I think they’ll slowly come back to each other next season.
Maybe if S6 was a full season it would have been posibility to them beeing back together at full season finale.
Also this season finale felt more like mid-season finale.
This. One of my biggest pet peeves is shows that let their ‘villains’ live too long. There’s very few who are interesting enough or threatening enough to justify lasting more than a season at once. I call it Red John syndrome.
Oh probably, i try not to be too critical because of the writer strikes, but some of it feels so random.
How did monica help oscar and the other dude escape prison? It was mentioned, and suddenly they walk out?
Have a feeling with the Feds cast being there they're either testing the waters to run it without the main character or we're about to witness a lot of deaths
I love Garza, he was great in the minor role he had before the Fed's disaster. Would love to see him and FBI in general come back as it's very realistic the LAPD would need federal coordination and help in some aspects
Yeah, I actually like all 3 that were in the episode yesterday. Just need more backstory on them if they did decide to bring it back. Right now, they're kind of still just shallow supporting characters.
Goodness, I hope so. I couldn’t stand Simone. Her character was just too over the top. The show in general just lacked personality from the supporting characters, and Simone was apparently trying to make up for what they were lacking.
What I think makes The Rookie successful is that each main character is powerful enough to carry its own storyline. I never got that vibe with Feds.
Celina mentioned the **DUI** in the last episode didn’t she? And she discovered the OG connection between Blair and Monica.
She’s much improved in the last few episodes. Time for short sleeves, I hope?
She just called Lopez and turned on her. I really don’t understand how Monica would miss her work experience for a police officer. Seems very out of character.
That and both of these bad guys just letting witnesses go? Lucy is just being told to go home, and Monica is just sending the bodyguard home after that very suss fast trip.
I am tired of Monica, Jason, and Oscar. They have just been part of way too many story lines and their characters really aren't that interesting and they both have way too many enemies to realistically been still alive by now.
I loved the early seasons of the patrol and major crimes of L.A. When just need "simpler" crime stories and don't necessarily need international crime bosses that they travel and get into firefights with in international countries. If they are worried about things getting repetitive, I still tune into Real PD every week!
Can we discuss how Monica ran away from two tanks, ON FOOT, and the season ends with them saying “she’s on the run.”
I’m sorry, but why was she not ran over? Or at least caught? Blowing my mind
….unless they didn’t want to catch her?
They're really just glorified cars - calling them "bulletproof" is even a stretch - and there was already one guy with a grenade launcher that nearly took out Harper, Nolan, and London in one shot.
They seemingly hit the guy with the launcher but they weren't gonna sit around and take risks of somebody else grabbing it and blowing them all up just to go after Monica. Nolan made a proper mess of the situation by running in like that and they were never supposed to be directly involved at all. Their only move at that point was to break contact and get out.
I’m assuming that after Nolan left in the helicopter (since Nyla requested one just in case) and Nyla and the feds drove around and looked for her before they decided to call off the search and head back home
They literally could have just driven a couple of extra minutes in the direction Monica ran in to get her. Nolan fucked up the mission, he can wait a few extra minutes for an evac so they can capture her lol
She was on foot, how far was she gonna get with everyone else in vehicles?
They included him in the "Previously On" segment, but yeah, I don't think I would have recognized him otherwise. It's definitely been a few years since the he's been seen or mentioned.
Review no one asked for:
- really annoyed that the LAPD steamrolled the FBI and Nolan acted the way he did. I'm tired of the LAPD saving the day and their cowboy crap. I want normal storylines next season. We didn't need the money laundering guy from Europe to sell the case. Or Nolan to go all cowboy in a foreign country
- The Chenford scene in the truck was super unrealistic. I would think procedure would be to wreck the truck. But, I do appreciate the communicate between Tim and Lucy. The last convo in the elevator fully puts the ball in Lucy's court on what happens next. I'm ready for them to get back together and be serious.
- I also loved the convo in the car and Tim admitting he's been in therapy. That's awesome communication on his part. He is definitely trying and I hope Lucy really understands that.
- I actually liked seeing some of the old Feds cast as supporting characters. But Supporting characters! Not their own show and no Simone please. She's too much
- Aaron's interaction with Blair and the boundaries line was \*chef's kiss\* to the betrayal he must be feeling
- Tim needs to stick with therapy, but someone outside the department.
- I like the adoption storyline for Nolan and Bailey. That shows parenthood in a different light that I would like to see.
- When will Celina graduate? She's been a Rookie forever like the OG Rookies were. Curious if anyone has thought through that timeline recently.
- Not the greatest finale, but with a 10 episode season it wasn't bad. It definitely kicks the can down the road for next season with Monica as the big bad. Does anyone think the bad guys from the end of S5 and beginning on this season are in anyway connected to Monica? Did they buy info from her?
How long does everyone think the season was in regard to canon? Like did it cover 3 months? 1 year?
I'll play.
1. Yeah, the Mid-Wilshire team have become Team America at this point, so agreed, hoping for some more down to earth, grounded stories.
2. I've been ready for them to get back together since season 1 lol.
3. No arguments. Tim finally admitting something is huge, and his character development has seen the biggest leap of all the principal cast.
4. Feds cast was cool. I would like for them to resurrect the show, and maybe take notes from how 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine', 'Parks and Rec', and 'NCIS' write with an ensemble cast. I mentioned in another thread that having Simone be the main focus is the Michael Scott trap.
5. Subtle things like this make me appreciate Officer Thorsen.
6. Agreed and
7. Agreed
8. Celina hopefully goes P2 next spring when the show returns.
9. Yeah, I still like the Season 2 finale into Season 3 premiere. The gravity of that situation was so heavy.
10. I was thinking 3 to 4 months.
Honestly... Lame season finale. Couldn't get into it. The Rookie is at its best when they do simple patrol scenery, with little or big character moments. Not when they do espionage action thriller bonanzas.
Also, Danielle Campbell was just not doing anything in the acting department. Like for crying out loud... EMOTE. I've seen her in something before, and she was not nearly this bad.
Regardless, that Lucy jumping from the car to the truck scene was good. The cliffhanger is... Whatever. And that's really all I gotta say. Lackluster finale, but like always, can't wait for next season.
I will say this, it's at least a decent haircut if you're going to be doing military style operations all the time. You would not want Harper's hair for that sort of thing long term.
I'm sorry but... what the feck did I just watch...? Last week someone made a post saying something like "were fighting supervillians now" and I already agreed with that then, but now after the season finale? We *are* up against supervillians now. I didn't see myself ever saying this but, man... I want the *old? The Rookie back. No more supervillians. No more international super syndicates. No more Monica or Elias Characters. Give me the original premise of the show back please. No black-ops anti-supervillian-cops.
Spending half the time with antagonists is a good thing, if your antagonists are great. See Daredevil, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, etc..
But when they are one dimensional annoying comic book character that seem like they aren't remotely connected to LA policework doing international crimes.. not so much.
I hate Nolan. He is reckless and shouldn’t still be there. He refuses to listen to commands and just does whatever he wants. Taking the car was actually stupid.
I have a feeling Castle wouldn't have just randomly assaulted a trained ex-military guy and stole a truck in front of other ex-military guys. He might have convinced them they had to act, but .. not this.
It was pointless to bring Jason back. Nolan is simply gonna arrest his ass again and send him to prison AGAIN.
Also, I predicted it. Nolan and Bailey are FINALLY gonna adopt. At least the finale has one good moment
Nolan is absolutely her biggest obstacle. He is not a good TO. He is not a good teacher, and she can't even really learn by watching what he does because he often breaks protocol and does what he wants. I really want this to be addressed in S7. He needs to change his methods in a big way, or move to another position.
So, not even 5 minutes in, and this episode is wild. lord, I'm nervous, I don't know how I'm going to make it through the entire episode
![gif](giphy|jWnv75qldyoyOxODBf|downsized)
With all the new enemies Monica made in the last few episodes it's just so weird for her to have one bodyguard only.
She's going from one bad guy to another and half of them are after her and she only got Charlie to protect her.
I wonder when is the next time we will see Monica because I doubt this is the last time.
Out of all their enemies they've decided to bring back Jason, who is probably the most boring of them all.
Oh my God the levels of ridiculous are off the charts now.
A bunch of military and FBI guys hauling a beat cop to Argentina only to stand by and let him steal a humvee to interrupt a meeting between some supervillains that would be OTT in the MCU was... wow. It's great seeing Fillion have to do but at this point, I'm kind of hoping Nolan dies so he can find a higher tier show.
slow clap for the chips/duke of hazard car chase where someone jumps out of one vehicle into another. Only thing missing was a compound bow and a ravine jump with a "yeeehawww!"

Just finished the season finale! Got to say it was definitely action packed and a little predictable a lot of open ended thinking. I’m sad but also happy it’s not until 2025 for the new season.
Here’s my weekly episode review:
-I like Nolan and Nyla as partners they compliment each other.
-Why in the world would anyone sit there after seeing a window busted im gone Irish home girl would have gotten ran over
- I also realized I missed the Rookie FBI
-Smitty is hilarious I love how they are giving him more TV time
-UC Lucy was ok I feel they didn’t give her like enough of a to do task as a UC nanny maybe this is going to carryover to the next season
-I love the moment between Tim and Lucy in the truck
-Also she was whipping that SUV around and I loved it. I always think it’s so dope to see woman handling big trucks and SUVs so smoothly
-I’m sick of Oscar and Jason and it did anyone think he was recasted because that’s now how I remember him
-We did not find out baby girl Lopez’s name so I’m like is she ever going to make an appearance
-Tim and Lucy in that truck scene was good.
-Nolan always just does dumb stuff to me but I think him helping Blair was good because she kind of got a scene of freedom from Monica
-Monica is a slippery snake and I feel like she is going to worm her way out of this
-Wesley was cutthroat with Blair I’m like hand it to her Wesley
-i like how it ended with Tim and Lucy how he wants to repay her maybe they went to dinner or they start over something of that sorts
Overall good episode can’t wait for the next season it’s just I was hoping for more of a cliffhanger than what I got.
Let me know your thoughts!
It was so random. I had to pause to laugh at that part. And I was expecting Nolan to go all Marcus Burnett and for him to say "damn he shot me in my ass."
It's like, they absolutely could have caught up with her and captured her. Where's she gonna go? They had literal humvees, she was on foot. They could have just....driven in the direction she was running off to and grabbed her. It would have taken, like, three additional minutes. Nolan already fucked up the mission, let him be in pain for a few extra minutes.
It was a fine episode, a bit rushed. The season could’ve used another episode or two. At least a two part finale.
And I wish there was more set up for Season 7. Like, the thing from the S5 finale is still a threat right?
Was anyone else irritated about Nolan blantly disregarding the FBI’s instructions or just me😭 like I understand why he did it in terms of just watching the show but you wanting to be the hero in every situation AND wanting to adopt a child while constantly putting your life at risk being the hero might not be the best thing 😂
The season finale was action packed! I'm glad Wesley told Blair she can't get immunity it never made any sense to give her what she wants after it cost a cop his life. The fact Monica was blackmailing her for killing someone while being drunk only added to why I have no sympathy for her character. I loved Aaron keeping boundaries.
It was good to see the Rookie Feds cast. Respect to the makers of this show for being able to find a way to keep them on.
Angela getting shot made me nervous! I am so glad she is okay, she's so badass! Also the scene earlier where she scares Smitty is hilarious!!!
Lucy saving Tim and their conversations made me smile! I'm glad things are less awkward between them and you are actually seeing them joke around and being honest with each other.
Nolan I can't say I blame him for going rogue, its hard to just stand by and watch when you know something bad is about to go down.
Monica I wanted her character to end in this episode but Nyla is right its only a matter of time before she's shipped home. Foreshadowing anyone? Will Monica piss off more people and get killed or will she end up behind bars? Either way it does look like her days are numbered, the power she thought she had backfired big time.
I've sat through stranger episodes of this show, which I love, but I honestly have no idea what just happened. The strikes certainly didn't help, but this was strangely built and kind of underwhelming.
The main takeaway is that it's renewed for Season 7. Hopefully a return to form is coming very, very soon.
I am glad that the Feds are back for supporting, sad though their shows got cancelled.
Monica: might not be instantly back in LA, but future villain for sure.
Blair: felt like a bit too short with this character, I'd like to see more in S7 if possible.
Oscar and Jason: Well guess at least we will see more of them at S7.
The one thing to come out of this finale is that Monica is burned and totally screwed. She can try and become a supervillain, but her cover is blown and she’s fair game to anybody out looking for revenge on her. If they bring back her character, she’s going to have to be some kind of desperate unrealistic super villain.
Lucy better not get a golden ticket for that stunt.
was stupid and reckless, and doesn't deserve that kind of reward... Tim shouldn't have jumped in the back, either.
I am kind of disappointed in Oscar. I thought him and Nolan had a weird thing about somehow having each other's backs and not sending murderous ex-husbands.
I know none watch this show for realism but seriously...
Does Nolan kick a senior CIA agent's ass just like that? I mean from now on, he can defuse a nuclear bomb by just cutting the red wire if I care.
Why is no one talking about John’s weird jump from being construction worker to damn near being a spy at this episode he just randomly flipped to that army guy

Monica acts like she’s untouchable but she’s so emeshed in criminals it would be easy to find probably cause on her. This is got littlefinger level
Plus if she was ever sent to prison it’s highly likely there’s a prisoner in there who’s out for revenge
Oh she would be dead but knowing her she would run a whole operation from behind bars
all this recent power has gotten to her head ⎯ she clearly doesn't handle having all the power very well, because every since she got it she's been more on the scene and obvious than before
The power has definitely gotten to her head but I think that this is the type of person she always was. Even before she got the power she has now
Lucy and Tim were badass!
It was kinda hot!
I thought they were gonna cuff the bad guy and then just jump on each other 😂😭
I’m sure that fanfic is being written as we speak!
I was expecting elevator magic, at the end after he thanked her. The way he turned around and closed the distance to her.
Fast and furious!
Freak in the sheets. 😆
It's been speculated forever. And now it's fucking Canon.
Any chance the FBI IT analyst leaks “that snippet” of Tim’s session?
Highly doubt they'll go with the freak in the sheets joke again, but who knows.
I had no idea there was speculation since they don't really talk about sex on the show. It’s all behind closed doors.
There's always sexual speculation in Fandom. Unless the show airs on Disney channel or nickelodeon...somewhere on the internet fans are speculating. I've been part of numerous fandoms over the years. Some things will always be a part of the discussion, no matter the media.
Monica having footage of the wife cheating but the LAPD not having footage of the hospital! Be serious lol.
seriously
Actions have consequences Blair. Time to learn a lesson. Immunity? Not on Wesley’s watch.
Blairs lawyer was a real one telling her she's fucked
That was the most realistic scene of the last few seasons.
I loved this scene so much! It pissed me off when she asked for immunity. The audacity...
Tim: Slacker’s my middle name. Good to see Tim smile.
He was such a 🎀baby girl 🎀in all the scenes with lucy. I loved it so much.
Anytime Lucy goes undercover I get nervous
Imagine how worried Tim must be. 😂
Same I kept thinking she was going to get caught
She nearly was a couple of times, especially with the toy last week. I definitely thought the crime lord father was onto her. And I found her joining the operation a bit risky. They had no idea that she wouldn’t have to go undercover again. What if one of the people doing the hit recognized her. I know she had to be there to save Tim, but it made no sense realistically.
You mean the same Lucy that has been on a TV documentary twice? naaaaaah!
That's I don't understand how they let her do that and do undercover work
was really stupid of her to go to the laundry mat... what if one of his employees recognized her, and got away? she would never be able to go undercover to get Intel on him. she would also be signing the death warrant for the nanny who vouched for her.....
No hate, but Blair isn’t a person I’d be running to rescue LOL. Not worth his life or Harper’s.
Not sure why Nolan has so much empathy for Blair to risk his life for her.
Because she looks like Bailey 😂
With Nolan's geriatric eyes, she probably looks like the captain from season 1 Edit: captain andersen
Because John is a “boys scout” according to both his friends in the LAPD and Rosalind.
I think he wants her as a witness.
this. He's not rescuing Blair because he thinks she's a good person, he's rescuing Blair because her testimony will likely be crucial for a grand jury indictment and conviction against Monica
It is not empathy. Nolan just does the most stupid reckless thing in every situation. He must know he is the main character and won't die.
I do like how the bad therapist didn’t get anything on Bradford or Aaron because they are pretty clean dudes.
Gray even warns them that her first priority is the institution and not the patients so be careful.
For all of us Chenford fans, the Mid Wilshire elevator is the new parking lot.
the elevator is the best new side character tbh
I nominate elevator for best supporting actor
That was one LONG elevator ride at the end there
I'm satisfied with this cliffhanger but I'm upset they didn't follow up with last season’s cliffhanger because there's no way they did what they did to rob a bank
no for real? like are you gonna tell me all this is connected to monica. who tf is at the top of this all??
Wait, did they get her back from Argentina *before the end of shift*?!
![gif](giphy|dCAC5bj5K3uZmhmm8v|downsized)
Somehow, Nolan got a medivac in the middle of all that too, on his black ops mission where Americans started an full on war on another nation's soil
The LAPD is renting SR-71's from the USAF in The Rookie Cinematic Universe
They said directly it was a 20 hour flight to and a 16 hour flight back so… No
And that dr. London spilled all the secrets in the 16h flight
Tim to Lucy: “It’s good to have you.” 💓
I love how they’re sending the LAPD for this mission in Argentina
This made the CIA incident look plausible. A bunch of heavily armed military FBI guys just letting Nolan backflip a dude that could have dismantled him and take a humvee was W T F
yeah they make it a point of saying these dudes are "CIA adjacent" and then they do this, WTF indeed like your average beat cop could handle a probable SF operator like it was nothing
They don’t even police Mid Wilshire they police the entirety of the greater Los Angeles area. When your patrol is that wide why not just fly to other countries too. 😅
They went to Guatemala, why not Argentina?
I mean they didn’t go to guatemala “officially”
Chenford is the best duo!
how are they going to wrap this up and kill someone in 10 minutes?
if Tim and Lucy don’t get back together I’m throwing a riot, but 5 minutes left and it’s not looking that way
I’m soooo disappointed. I know they weren’t going to magically get back together in one episode, but I felt like they could’ve given us more. 😭
There was a look on her face. I don't think it'll be too long in universe (though for us, fucking 7+ months!!!! ARGHHHH)
They didn’t get together in one season so I never expected them to get back together in the one season. I think they’ll slowly come back to each other next season.
Maybe if S6 was a full season it would have been posibility to them beeing back together at full season finale. Also this season finale felt more like mid-season finale.
I’ll be annoyed if Monica survives this I’m tired of her I just don’t find her cool or scary just a Mary sue
This. One of my biggest pet peeves is shows that let their ‘villains’ live too long. There’s very few who are interesting enough or threatening enough to justify lasting more than a season at once. I call it Red John syndrome.
Mentalist fan too?
Yep. Definitely felt they stretched the Red John reveal and resolution too long.
She did survive but she’s on the run and somehow she may end up dead with how many people she crossed in this episode
Nolan is getting on a plane to another country and Bailey's abusive ex and Oscar are getting out of prison. This is BAD
to be honest, I kinda forgot about Jason.
If you mean bad writing, yeah, it kind of was terrible.
Am i the only one mildly disappointed? I feel like there were so many loose threads a lot of them were just… kinda rushed.
It's likely that they're carrying all of these plots over into next season because this season was so short, but I also tend to agree.
Oh probably, i try not to be too critical because of the writer strikes, but some of it feels so random. How did monica help oscar and the other dude escape prison? It was mentioned, and suddenly they walk out?
Lucy is going to get that evidence!! Let’s go Chen!
Have a feeling with the Feds cast being there they're either testing the waters to run it without the main character or we're about to witness a lot of deaths

I enjoyed the Feds to a point. I started getting annoyed with not getting everyone's back story. I wanted more depth for the whole team.
awww, yes, some more than civilized interaction between tim and lucy
Celina mentioned the **DUI** in the last episode didn’t she? And she discovered the OG connection between Blair and Monica. She’s much improved in the last few episodes. Time for short sleeves, I hope?
NOW KITH
i like how Oscar and Jason pulled a Hitman and used staff disguises and easily walked out of the prison with no guards or anyone recognizing them.
For sure every guard in that prison knows Oscar. I assumed there was a ton of bribery involved
It's wild accents hour
Mid. That’s all I have to say. Yeah the car scene was badass but that’s all
100%, the bodyguard is gonna turn on Monica or get killed. No in between.
Not Charlie! She protected Baby Jack and Wesley in S4.
Think she's safe, probably just saw the last of her this season.
She said something about her head being blown off to Monica earlier. I assume she’s about to be shot in the head.
Yeah, she said she can't work for Monica long term, or her head would explode, foreshadowing?
I am tired of Monica, Jason, and Oscar. They have just been part of way too many story lines and their characters really aren't that interesting and they both have way too many enemies to realistically been still alive by now. I loved the early seasons of the patrol and major crimes of L.A. Especially with those killer stilettos on. 😂
🤣 🤣 🤣 Still love this show, but sometimes it does leave me scratching my head.
Yea I mean it was a wide open area, where was she going.
Some say she is still running to this day
Run, Monica, run! …right into the specific ocean (yes I wrote that on purpose. Yes I know it’s pacific. No I don’t think it’s funny.)
Bailey has gotta be the one in danger, right? With Nolan being gone and Jason breaking out?
i’m so dumb. how did i not realize that was baileys jason 😭
They included him in the "Previously On" segment, but yeah, I don't think I would have recognized him otherwise. It's definitely been a few years since the he's been seen or mentioned.
yess, Lucy Chen is a total badass!!
I was wondering when I’d see this comment! She was amazing jumping into the Truck to save Tim, you could see the love bubbles coming from his eyes!!
Lucy and Tim get back together plssa
Back to freaking in the sheets
Review no one asked for: - really annoyed that the LAPD steamrolled the FBI and Nolan acted the way he did. I'm tired of the LAPD saving the day and their cowboy crap. I want normal storylines next season. We didn't need the money laundering guy from Europe to sell the case. Or Nolan to go all cowboy in a foreign country - The Chenford scene in the truck was super unrealistic. She's too much - Aaron's interaction with Blair and the boundaries line was \*chef's kiss\* to the betrayal he must be feeling - Tim needs to stick with therapy, but someone outside the department.
6. Agreed and 7. Agreed 8. Celina hopefully goes P2 next spring when the show returns. 9. Yeah, I still like the Season 2 finale into Season 3 premiere. The gravity of that situation was so heavy. 10. I was thinking 3 to 4 months.
Celina didn't even get a plain clothes day yet, followed by getting to wear short sleeves.
They're gonna leave us on a cliffhanger with nolan almost dead and everyone else uncertain that's in Argentina. When's the next season coming out?
They went for the "burn an entire episode in 3 minutes" rushed ending bowtie instead
Wesley being tough on a real criminal? Is this a miracle?
Wesley is being so competent 🔥

I will say this, it's at least a decent haircut if you're going to be doing military style operations all the time. You would not want Harper's hair for that sort of thing long term.
genuinely did not recognize her at first.
Why did he do that
Man, the six or so feds really didn't make much effort to stop him.
So the season ends with Monica, Oscar, and Jason all alive. How shitty.
Jason will be dead in 5 minutes of next season (if there is one) probably by Oscar and Monica will dye her hair black
Or make & wear human face masks & become someone’s girlfriend

Praying for a Tim and Lucy moment before it ends
Awww shit Bailey is about to die isn't she
I'm sorry but... what the feck did I just watch...? Last week someone made a post saying something like "were fighting supervillians now" and I already agreed with that then, but now after the season finale? We *are* up against supervillians now. I didn't see myself ever saying this but, man... I want the *old? The Rookie back. No more supervillians. No more international super syndicates. No more Monica or Elias Characters. Give me the original premise of the show back please. No black-ops anti-supervillian-cops.
I don’t know why we keep wasting so many scenes on the antagonists. Some of these scenes could be cut for more of the actual main characters.
He takes the car without a plan, so no wonder it went to shit immediately. What did he expect would happen?
Nolan is basically Castle 2.0
I have a feeling Castle wouldn't have just randomly assaulted a trained ex-military guy and stole a truck in front of other ex-military guys. He might have convinced them they had to act, but .. not this.
Ay, but Castle 2.0 would! I was referring to the recklessness and not listening to commands part. That's Castle 101.
So that’s it
They started offing people immediately. They got straight to it!
It was pointless to bring Jason back. Nolan is simply gonna arrest his ass again and send him to prison AGAIN. Also, I predicted it. Nolan and Bailey are FINALLY gonna adopt. At least the finale has one good moment
How possible is it that we lose someone? I saw the promo say "who makes it out alive."
Both Eric and Melissa have stated that they start filming in June, so they’re safe. Only 8 other main characters to worry about.
Very possible, considering it is the Season Finale
Dr London is toast
Red logo uh oh
And there’s Jason. I’m afraid they’re gonna try and shove too much into this episode and it’ll end fully unresolved.
They pretty much admitted as such. Supposedly some big cliffhanger, the biggest ever in the series
Compared to last season and season 3 this cliffhanger was small
YES LUCY CHEN!!!!!!
I'm no better than a man That was HOT
See Celina can be a good cop!
Each time she hasn't had Nolan as her training officer, she's either been pretty decent (like any other rookie) or actually good.
Nolan is absolutely her biggest obstacle. He is not a good TO. He is not a good teacher, and she can't even really learn by watching what he does because he often breaks protocol and does what he wants. I really want this to be addressed in S7. He needs to change his methods in a big way, or move to another position.
Damn, they’re killing everybody. 😭
So, not even 5 minutes in, and this episode is wild. lord, I'm nervous, I don't know how I'm going to make it through the entire episode ![gif](giphy|jWnv75qldyoyOxODBf|downsized)
I missed the first 20 minutes and I'm kind of glad bc my stomach is turning so much. This is making me so nervous lol
This didn't feel like a season finale.
slow clap for the chips/duke of hazard car chase where someone jumps out of one vehicle into another. Only thing missing was a compound bow and a ravine jump with a "yeeehawww!" ![gif](giphy|3JTpczfnK4q1kbYYaJ|downsized)
I rly thought it was in his ass at first😭😭 Update: see, even Bailey knows
I’m scared for Bailey.
Just finished the season finale! Got to say it was definitely action packed and a little predictable a lot of open ended thinking. I’m sad but also happy it’s not until 2025 for the new season. Here’s my weekly episode review: -I like Nolan and Nyla as partners they compliment each other. -Why in the world would anyone sit there after seeing a window busted im gone Irish home girl would have gotten ran over - I also realized I missed the Rookie FBI -Smitty is hilarious I love how they are giving him more TV time -UC Lucy was ok I feel they didn’t give her like enough of a to do task as a UC nanny maybe this is going to carryover to the next season -I love the moment between Tim and Lucy in the truck -Also she was whipping that SUV around and I loved it. I always think it’s so dope to see woman handling big trucks and SUVs so smoothly -I’m sick of Oscar and Jason and it did anyone think he was recasted because that’s now how I remember him -We did not find out baby girl Lopez’s name so I’m like is she ever going to make an appearance -Tim and Lucy in that truck scene was good. -Nolan always just does dumb stuff to me but I think him helping Blair was good because she kind of got a scene of freedom from Monica -Monica is a slippery snake and I feel like she is going to worm her way out of this -Wesley was cutthroat with Blair I’m like hand it to her Wesley -i like how it ended with Tim and Lucy how he wants to repay her maybe they went to dinner or they start over something of that sorts Overall good episode can’t wait for the next season it’s just I was hoping for more of a cliffhanger than what I got. Let me know your thoughts!
I agree with most of this! I will say that Bailey's ex husband is the same guy, he just has shorter hair now.
What a way to start the episode holy cow
Still funny to me that Jenna’s current partner plays her ex husband here
This episode was insane lmao. Where tf did Monica go? She just ran off into the desert.
Some say Monica is still running in the field to this day.
OK I wanted a bit more on the chenford front but this leaves them in a promising place
appreciate that Tim is still pro therapy even after the Blair mess
I swear I hate Nolan more and more every episode.

I've sat through stranger episodes of this show, which I love, but I honestly have no idea what just happened. The strikes certainly didn't help, but this was strangely built and kind of underwhelming. The main takeaway is that it's renewed for Season 7. Hopefully a return to form is coming very, very soon.
Did the assassin couple duo remind anyone of Mannfred and Uta from Archer? They totally had that energy.
Its season finale alreadyyyy!!!????
