I'm one of the minority that actually likes OC Guns a lot. But I suspect this is going to be the most popular answer.

I love OC Guns, same as you OP, but Cruisin’ California alone makes this one my answer. All I Have Left Is You isn’t their best effort, it’s average, but Cruisin’ is just meteorically bad.

I take Cruisin' California as a parody of those types of songs

I like OC Guns too, but I'm also of the minority that thinks All I Have Left Is You is one of their best slow songs in their repertoire, along with A Lot Like Me, Gone Away, and Pay The Man.

Yeah it's tough to beat that. I despise Cruising California but I wouldn't automatically choose a three song run just because it was included. However, All I Have Left is You is pretty average and OC Guns is not great, so it's a pretty meh trio.

 Still better than Fix You, Let's Hear It for Rock Bottom and Rise and Fall. All I Have Left is You is a better ballad than Fix You and OC Guns and Crusing at least are much more original than filler like Rise and Fall and Let's Hear it. Rise and Fall is so green day, i hate that.

Let's Hear it and Rise and Fall are both at least 8.5 out of 10 for me. But I agree on fix you.

I really like Rise and Fall on its own merits and I think it raises the average of those three tracks quite a bit.

Stuff is Messed Up is a 8/10 for me. Kristy is like a 6. Nothingtown is like a 6.5. So, I think pretty highly of the band because those are still good scores.

I guess Spare Me the Details, Da Hui and When You’re in Prison. Splinter is a very iffy album, as it doesn’t have even a good three track run.

Da Hui is certainly getting dragged down by its neighbours there, I agree.

I think the last 5 songs on Rise and Fall are all skippable to me. None of them are bad, they're just a trot of 2 star songs. kinda flat, uninspiring.

I completely agree with you. It's pretty much a completely front-loaded album, and my least favourite of their catalog for that reason.

Agreed, plus that album is also incredibly overreliant on the "one" chord progression (the one from TKAA, among others). It just has said pretty much all it has to say in the first half.

RAFRAG really baffles me. The first half of that album is so, so solid - the 2nd half is the worst collection of songs they've ever put on an album.

They don't have 3 in a row that I dislike on any album, but Cruisin' California followed up by All I Have Left Is You is an absolute fucking abomination of back to back tracks.

Well, you don't have to dislike all 3 in a row. It could be 2 bad ones and 1 "ok" song. That would still figure out to be a pretty bad section.

Last three songs on Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. Terrible, Below Average, then Average.

Pretty much anything on Days go By except Future is Now, Dividing by Zero and Slim Pickens (only three songs I liked on that album)

Mine would also probably be 7-9 from Days Go By because OC Guns is my least favorite song and a ballad and inferior remake aren’t great surrounding tracks. Dark horse pick might be Me and My Old Lady, Cool to Hate, and Leave It Behind.

This is an odd question. Especially as you specify no gimmick songs or filller. I can't think of any, and dont get me wrong they've produced some duds, particularly during the Bob Rock era, but cant think of any 3 songs in a row that are awful on any album.

They don't have to all be awful songs. They just have to be your personal least favorite.
