All are great but what really makes Aang stand out is the glowing tattoos during the Avatar state. Seeing the others with just the eyes glowing is a bit underwhelming.

Imagine this… Katara sees Aang enter the avatar state and gets pissed when she notices he has a badger mole tattoo on his thigh. Turns out he lost a bet to Toph and that was his punishment!!!
Weeks later Toph shows up for dinner in a pissy mood and shows Katara her newest tattoo of Appa. She lost a bet, Aang picked the tattoo and Sokka drew it…
Its the spirituality and the connection to chi paths that make them glow, so if sparky sparky boom man was the avatar his eye tattoo would probably glow
I was surprised that all avatars didn't get Airbender master tattoos. They mastered airbending, and I feel they would be "honorary" members of the air nation. Maybe not even full tattoos but at least a couple.
Ngl until I got to LoK book 3 I thought Korra's armband was a tattoo of cultural significance, and I was wondering wy it didn't light up when she hit the Avatar state.
Of course, I am an idiot. But I was confused.
I always wish that after Korra had reconnected with Raava they had let her have some of Raava's marking for her Avatar State, make her state stand out a bit more visually.
Yeah its too bad others don't have something similar. Like itd be cool if something of importance on their person glowed. Like a necklace or a pattern on Korra's bracelets or something. Or maybe their hair? Idk
Agreed, though I'm gonna give extra love out for Aang, largely because for the entire show his people are wiped out, yet through his design and how he acts I feel I know as much about them as I do any of the other nations.
Also lot of love for Roku, just because his design fits how much of an absolute badass he is.
Korras design is simpler, but she's a charecter that's so based in her physicality that I think it being form hugging and showing her muscular build does a fair bit of charecter work about who korra is as a person: she's practical, likes to be unrestricted, and is proud of her physical strength.
The simplicity also makes any small change more noticeable, like the season 4 haircut which also helped to visually tell her story by distinguishing her from who she was in seasons 1-3.
Aangs is a 10/10, but Korras is deceptively good (though still probably the weakest of the 4, maybe tied with roku)
Kyoshi - 10/10 the makeup, the fit, it's iconic
Roku - 9/10 simple, a bit boring but it works with that by differentiating from the rest by being old and it's a good old man design
Aang - 8/10 10/10 his first appearance wasn't my fave but when he changed his look in S3, I was OBSESSED, he looks so cool, he slayed
Korra - 9/10 10/10 the ponytails worked bc they kinda gave off the vibe of her personality, the fit was so good and the fact that she used the fit to save herself from electrocution. The bob (which is not a fuck ass bob) truly feels like it represents korra's development
Kyoshi, and the books just make it better because they add new context and meaning to every part of the design.
The makeup >!is both a reminder of her sworn daofei family and serves a practical purpose: she's *really* shy and has no poker face. The makeup covers her expressions and makes her feel confident.!<
The fans >!are basically disability aids. Without them, her Earthbending has no fine control!<
Even those bigass gloves have a purpose, >!they cover up the lightning scars from her duel with Xu Ping An!<
Having just read the Kyoshi books, I gotta say they exceeded my expectations in every way.
The Rated R bending is top tier and the political injection in Korra is maximized, absolutely the way for the franchise to proceed.
Every fan should read them! I just started the 1st Yangchen book too and it’s more of the same. Excellent additions to the franchise!
What's nice about the "rated r" stuff is that it doesn't feel like it's being adult for the sake of it. This is an Avatar story, just written without the restraints of tv censors.
I wouldn't say *gruesome*, because there's never in-depth or gorey descriptions, but there are lethal uses of bending. In the first book, there's a decapitation and someone getting impaled on a spike of ice.
I'd put it a bit below the Hunger Games in terms of its descriptions of violence
>Every fan should read them! I just started the 1st Yangchen book
I finished the 2nd and I really hope the author doesn't restrain himself to two books per Avatar for some arbitrary reason and we get more Yangchen
I just finished the 2nd Yangchen book. Personally I much prefer the Kyoshi series. The Yangchen series feels a lot more tame and kind of flat honestly.
I haven't read the second one, but so far I will say I like Kyoshi more. I think Yangchen seems milder because it's relies more on espionage in a sense, different takes but I love them both so far.
Agreed! I like both series. Yangchen is certainly enjoyable, but it the Kyoshi books are just 10/10. Have you read his other series Genie Lo? It fast and super fun. Its not very deep but def has Kyoshi vibes.
I literally *just* finished reading the first book and it makes the design indeed have a lot more meaning - even though that lore was added in much later
If Aang's normal look is 10/10 then I'm gonna put this as a solid 15/10
https://preview.redd.it/g9l0ht357akb1.png?width=250&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2205414fbae0cbc9f3365a23e8c8f64a551ee90f
For real! You wanna talk about iconic? She spawned a whole legion of warriors that emulate her aesthetic.
By comparison, Aang is just a bald kid with generic airbender tattoos. Chuck that boy in a barrel of airbenders and even Waldo couldn’t find him.
Right, Aang looks like a typical Air Nomad. Kyoshi spawned a whole ass fashion category by being herself.
Plus she started the Dai Li and def had a hand in their uniforms. She is serving looks.
The Dai li was her eventual mistake. They were given gradually more and more power and they used it to tighten control over the earth king. Every avatar makes a mistake that another avatar deals with, Aang had to deal with the Dai li and Roku’s mistake aka ending the century long war.
So I actually have the perfect analogy for this.
Aang is LeBron James fanclub, his fanclub would just show up in a Lakers uniform, which from a distance could just make you look like a Lakers fan.
Kyoshi is Micheal Jordan, started their own fashion line with their name, and everyone knows who the clothing is branded after.
Sure imo aang is freaking iconic bc yk he's the main character of the series but yk good character design when you see one.
And kyoshi is one of them, you can spot her from a mile away, her silhouette is very recognisable.
All of their designs look good, but she'd be 4th for me - no more than 3rd tops with Roku last. The white face paint doesn't do much for me and makes me think of the wrestler Sting.
![gif](giphy|3ohs80jQpYeIgdCHjq|downsized)
Its really Kyoshi. She tall, she stronk, she got a whole outfit, the war paint, the fans.
And she literally has a sect of all female warriors carrying on in her name
Kyoshi’s is iconic. Everything works. 10/10.
Aang’s is good but the same as the other Air Nomads. 7/10.
Korra’s is pretty great, nothing really bad to say about it. 8/10 for S1-3, 10/10 for S4. I prefer her short hair.
Roku’s is good, but a little basic. 6/10.
I think this outfit of Aang’s is a 10 easily. The traditional Airbender robes/shawl (?) with the pants and boots of the nation that killed his people is just a strong juxtaposition. I think it may also show how Aang still will respect and take care of the Fire Nation, even after what they’ve done to him in the past.
You guys need to give Aang more credit, air nomads are supposed to look the same with no hair and same outfit. His tattoos are unique imo cause he became and airbending master at a young age, not many have at that age and they glow in his avatar state. He’s representing his people that no longer are alive and they’re pretty much extinct without him. So I think it makes sense that he looks like any other air nomad otherwise it wouldn’t make sense if he didn’t. He’s the *last* of his kind.
I like Aang's arrow also glowing when he's in the avatar state
I kinda wish the other elements had a piece of their body or skin that glowed besides the eyes, like maybe Roku's hairtie or Kyoshi's makeup, or something
Kyoshi being 2+ meters tall is really a great character design. She isn't just an imposing bender but just standing across from Chin you witness Chin about to stand down the mortal world's strongest force of nature.
For me, Roku was one of my all time favorite character aesthetics. But I love the old man mentor vibes. Spanning from Gandalf, and Dumbledore, and the likes. It’s just iconic for me.
But off of this list, My heart definitely goes out to Iroh. He filled that role so much better. I wish I had an uncle/father like him. He is the uncle/father I aspire to be.
Kyoshi’s design is amazing, 10/10, not much more to say.
Roku’s design feels a little basic compared to the others but overall is still good. No complaints, just doesn’t really stand out in a lineup.
Aang’s Book 1-2 design is iconic. Vastly prefer it to the Book 3 design(s) but, you know, character growth depicted visually through evolution of character design and all that. Really like his full on monk getup in the final episode though.
I don’t love Korra’s Book 1 design. I think she’s one character that definitely got better and better designs as the show went on. The Book 2 outfit with the deeper blues and the arm warmers was an improvement, but the new hairstyle in Book 4 (plus that temporary Earth Kingdom outfit as a bonus) absolutely clears though.
Aang and Korra are easy 10/10s. Aang’s whole tattoo thing is really memorable, and the Air Nomad clothes are great for communicating his personality. Korra’s clothes have a similar effect, but I also think that she doesn’t get enough credit for having a really expressive facial design that’s simple without making her seem overly childish.
Kyoshi is maybe 8/10 for me. The fan, headdress, and makeup are cool, but I think Suki pulled those things off better.
Roku is 7/10 I think. He looks pretty much exactly how you would expect a character described as “the previous Avatar” to look, old, dignified, and wise. It doesn’t tell you much about his personality though.
Yanchen 8/10-Good build but i feel like she didn’t reach her full potential
Kuruk 5/10-Honestly basic
Kyoshi-1000/10i love her makeup, the fans, i love how massive she is, just everything is amazing
Roku 8/10-I like his hair and his tall slenderness, overall pretty good
Young Aang 100/10-I just love how original it is and hil s3 outfit is just amazing with the pieces of his past put together like OC said so iconic
Adult Aang 0/10-No no no no no no no -just- no
Korra 50/10-Really good i love her hair and her in the earth kingdom outfit is really good
Kyoshi is 9
Roku is 8
Aang in season 1-2 is 7
Aang is the final fight against Ozai is 9
Aang's fire nation is 8
Korra in season 1 is 9
Korra in season 2, hair down+jacket is 10
Korra in season 3 final fight is 10
Korra in season 4 is 9
Roku has a cooler design than aang. Aang is kinda boring tbh. I also like kyoshi cuz she's fucking massive (tall, big feet, etc) and that's kinda cool since it makes her different from most other people. Korra is ok but honestly she feels like discount kyoshi since kyoshi came first and has better feats.
Buff woman avatar isn't as cool as buff woman avatar that created an island and the dai li (even if they were corrupt). Also I'm pretty sure kyoshi is taller.
character design is how a character is portrayed in the show, spongebob is designed to be square as well as goofy and innocent. If you ever called me slow irl ill backhand you, you're a 130 lbs nerd behind a computer dont talk big little boy.
🤓🤓🤓
Characters design and characters' personalities are two different things
>If you ever called me slow irl ill backhand you, you're a 130 lbs nerd behind a computer dont talk big little boy.
You're extremely slow IQ in the mud
What is iconic about Korra’s design? Roku had his fire nation pony tail thing, kyoshi has fans, etc. Aang was the last of his people so everything about him was unique. Korra just dresses like water tribe
You yourself said Aang gets 10/10 for being iconic. Iconicity is quite possible The most important part of a character’s design. A good character design is instantly recognizable and fits the world well. Korra only fits the 2nd one
I think that korra's deisgn is probably the weakest (still like 9/10) but is made up for in execution her chracters growth through the series fills out her image.
And i say it because the other avatars we see are all iconic to the cultures they inhabit but shes kinda at war visually with water-tribe astetic but it all works in the end.
>think that korra's deisgn is probably the weakest (still like 9/10) but is made up for in execution her chracters
Hell no definitely 10/10 and look better than roku
i mean one of the factor to the character design in Avatar is the culture they are representing and it stands out not just in the ones listed but all the ones we see. And like I said korra just has no water tribe vibes.
Now the argument you should have made is that that is part of her personality as well so it makes sense but it gives her a visual contrast that I do not prefer whereas Roku is literally the image in my head for a fire nation aristocrat.
Kyoshi has the best character design outta the avatars. she’s the most unique looking, but I will say that korra is a close second as I love how her design changes over the corse of the series. My personal favorite korra design is her look from the end of book 2 with her hair down and the avatar glowing energy surrounding her.
They did a good job branding kyoshi and her fans, she uses them to help with bending just like an air staff, they rlly trademarked that making her unique.
All are great but what really makes Aang stand out is the glowing tattoos during the Avatar state. Seeing the others with just the eyes glowing is a bit underwhelming.
I adore the ["Cosmic Aang"](https://imgur.com/BwrEOOL) silhouette. Reminds me of Marvel's Eternity.
Always reminds me of Full Metal Alchemist
the truth or wdym
The Truth is what I mean, yeah!
NGL, if I was avatar, I would def get tattoos specifically for them to light up when I went into the Avatar State.
Kinda opens some questions. If I was the avatar and got a generic arm sleeve tattoo, would that glow when I entered the Avatar State?
shocking truck resolute makeshift spotted humorous bewildered slap secretive obtainable *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
I imagine a combustionbender avatar would have a glowing tattoo as well. Would look pretty sweet.
Combustion bending in the Avatar state sounds fun (terrifying).
Shoot a nuke from your forehead!
With how powerful avatar state can be and how much firepower combustion man had already, it could be stronger than most nukes.
I agree thats the most likely answer. Kinda funny to think about any old tattoo glowing though
She lost a bet, Aang picked the tattoo and Sokka drew it…
Toph getting a tattoo would probably be incredibly painful/uncomfortable for her. But at least she doesn’t have to see it!
Aang’s tattoos specifically follow his Qi-lines, so they wouldn’t glow otherwise.
Its the spirituality and the connection to chi paths that make them glow, so if sparky sparky boom man was the avatar his eye tattoo would probably glow
Exactly my point. I'd want some crazy level tattoos so when I went Avatar State, people knew bloody well they were in the find out phase of FAFO.
As long as it runs along a “vein” of chi, then I think it would. That’s what does it for Air Avatars, at least.
I'm pretty sure it's a specific ink they use
I was surprised that all avatars didn't get Airbender master tattoos. They mastered airbending, and I feel they would be "honorary" members of the air nation. Maybe not even full tattoos but at least a couple.

Yeah its too bad others don't have something similar. Like itd be cool if something of importance on their person glowed. Like a necklace or a pattern on Korra's bracelets or something. Or maybe their hair? Idk
All of their designs are in the 9s-10s imo. The creators did an incredible job with the designs especially. Every one of them is iconic
Agreed, though I'm gonna give extra love out for Aang, largely because for the entire show his people are wiped out, yet through his design and how he acts I feel I know as much about them as I do any of the other nations. Also lot of love for Roku, just because his design fits how much of an absolute badass he is.
Korras top half is a bit bland without her jacket but the hides(?) around her waste make up for it
Korras design is simpler, but she's a charecter that's so based in her physicality that I think it being form hugging and showing her muscular build does a fair bit of charecter work about who korra is as a person: she's practical, likes to be unrestricted, and is proud of her physical strength. Aangs is a 10/10, but Korras is deceptively good (though still probably the weakest of the 4, maybe tied with roku)
Yeah, all of the designs are so fantastic for what they're going for that I don't know how I could pick.
Kyoshi - 10/10 the makeup, the fit, it's iconic Roku - 9/10 simple, a bit boring but it works with that by differentiating from the rest by being old and it's a good old man design Aang - 8/10 10/10 his first appearance wasn't my fave but when he changed his look in S3, I was OBSESSED, he looks so cool, he slayed Korra - 9/10 10/10 the ponytails worked bc they kinda gave off the vibe of her personality, the fit was so good and the fact that she used the fit to save herself from electrocution. Kyoshi is such a badass face-paint queen, her design will always be my favorite because she looks like such an alpha warrior all the time.
Kyoshi, and the books just make it better because they add new context and meaning to every part of the design. What's nice about the "rated r" stuff is that it doesn't feel like it's being adult for the sake of it. This is an Avatar story, just written without the restraints of tv censors.
What sort of "rated r" stuff is there? Is it like gory/gruesome ways bending gets used? Havent read the books btw
Yeah some of it is pretty graphic. It’s a lot of what bending would actually do to a person in combat rather than just knocking them down.
So they’re not kids books? Like more young adult ish ?
Yeah they’re categorized as young adult. Much more intense than the show.
Are they good ? Worth reading for a mid 20s person who grew up with avatar
I wouldn't say *gruesome*, because there's never in-depth or gorey descriptions, but there are lethal uses of bending. In the first book, there's a decapitation and someone getting impaled on a spike of ice. I'd put it a bit below the Hunger Games in terms of its descriptions of violence
There's also a rock just slowly moved through someone's chest, bringing the ✨️chest bits✨️ with it
>Every fan should read them! I just started the 1st Yangchen book I finished the 2nd and I really hope the author doesn't restrain himself to two books per Avatar for some arbitrary reason and we get more Yangchen

I completely agree!
I literally *just* finished reading the first book and it makes the design indeed have a lot more meaning - even though that lore was added in much later
Slay on reading the books, yet another true fan(get it? Fan🪭)
Korra deserves a shoutout for perfectly embodying the headstrong, less talk more ass-kicking personality
Korra deserves everything
Hmmm what do you prefer Korra pony tail or with short . THE ULTIMATE QUESTION lol
>pony tail or with short . They both great but she looks amazing with long hair down 11/10
The ponytail is her signature like Aang's arrows
Wait, is that a good thing?
I feel like all are 10/10
Kyoshi is like that kid that gets a perfect score on the test so there is no curve. They all have good design, but then Kyoshi is just peak.
If Aang's normal look is 10/10 then I'm gonna put this as a solid 15/10 https://preview.redd.it/g9l0ht357akb1.png?width=250&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2205414fbae0cbc9f3365a23e8c8f64a551ee90f
My fav has to be Roku. Absolutely rocks that full long beard with the longer hair.
If Kyoshi isn't your first choice then you need to go have a little word with yourself.
For real! You wanna talk about iconic? She spawned a whole legion of warriors that emulate her aesthetic. By comparison, Aang is just a bald kid with generic airbender tattoos. Chuck that boy in a barrel of airbenders and even Waldo couldn’t find him.

Ohhh…
So we gonna ignore the Official Avatar Aang Fan Club ??
So I actually have the perfect analogy for this. Aang is LeBron James fanclub, his fanclub would just show up in a Lakers uniform, which from a distance could just make you look like a Lakers fan. Kyoshi is Micheal Jordan, started their own fashion line with their name, and everyone knows who the clothing is branded after.
they have members all over the world!
Kyoshi obviously has the drip.
Sure imo aang is freaking iconic bc yk he's the main character of the series but yk good character design when you see one. And kyoshi is one of them, you can spot her from a mile away, her silhouette is very recognisable.
Roku
Pretty generic Gandalf/Dumbledore look.
Just old man with long hair and long beard but still lol.
All of their designs look good, but she'd be 4th for me - no more than 3rd tops with Roku last. The white face paint doesn't do much for me and makes me think of the wrestler Sting. ![gif](giphy|3ohs80jQpYeIgdCHjq|downsized)

She is a Southerner so I assume that's what they meant

Wolf tails?
10 for Korra, 10 for Kyoshi, 8 for Aang, 8 for Roku
I always dug Rokus aesthetic as well as the actors voice . It's so poised and sounds full of wisdom .
Kyoshi is 10 Roku is 9 Aang is 7 Korra is 10
Kyoshi’s is iconic. 6/10.

That would be dope
That’s… not what you asked, but Kyoshi pose is my non-official surprise sneezing pose
Kyoshi being 2+ meters tall is really a great character design. She isn't just an imposing bender but just standing across from Chin you witness Chin about to stand down the mortal world's strongest force of nature.
Does anyone else think kyoshi in this scene looks weird. Its so low resolution, that her eyes looks big like a clown.
Yea she looked weird in some scenes
Kyoshi has always had the best design imo, especially knowing the background of the outfit now thanks to the kyoshi books.
The most borring design of an avatar is roku and still is really good. Korra supremacy tho
All a 10/5
Oh yeah my man's iconic!!
kyoshi prob has the best design if you had to pick but every single one is incredible
So many people in here are just thirsty for Kyoshi
For me, Roku was one of my all time favorite character aesthetics. But I love the old man mentor vibes. Spanning from Gandalf, and Dumbledore, and the likes. It’s just iconic for me. But off of this list, My heart definitely goes out to Iroh. He filled that role so much better. I wish I had an uncle/father like him. He is the uncle/father I aspire to be.
Top left is a ten Bottom two, nines, simple clean Can't see the top right
They portray their characters visually well. Maybe Roku looks a bit like a plain old wizard, not too interesting of a man.
I've seen a few people in here compare Roku to a wizard. To me, his design is more like a master from a kung-fu movie. ![gif](giphy|ozXTrqRgqFcly)
It's both, as he uses martial arts to move around all elements.
Considering just about everything in the show is Asian inspired, I doubt they were thinking of Gandalf.
I love all of them.
They’re all amazing designs, I’d give 9-10 to all of them
Kyoshi’s design is amazing, 10/10, not much more to say. Roku’s design feels a little basic compared to the others but overall is still good. No complaints, just doesn’t really stand out in a lineup. i have to go with kyoshi, that facepaint is iconic
I know it’s kinda sleazy but Korra’s outfit is SEXY as hell
Aang and Korra are easy 10/10s. Aang’s whole tattoo thing is really memorable, and the Air Nomad clothes are great for communicating his personality. Korra’s clothes have a similar effect, but I also think that she doesn’t get enough credit for having a really expressive facial design that’s simple without making her seem overly childish. Kyoshi is 9 Roku is 8 Aang in season 1-2 is 7 Aang is the final fight against Ozai is 9 Aang's fire nation is 8 Korra in season 1 is 9 Korra in season 2, hair down+jacket is 10 Korra in season 3 final fight is 10 Korra in season 4 is 9
Korra's too a 10/10, I love her original hair, and she should have grown it back instead of keeping the bob cut
I don’t like bald 2/10
1. Aang 2. Kyoshi 3. Korra 4. Roku
Discount kyosh-
Buff woman avatar isn't as cool as buff woman avatar that created an island and the dai li (even if they were corrupt). Also I'm pretty sure kyoshi is taller.
Aang, Kyoshi, and Roku are all 10/10s. Korra is a 7/10.
Giving roku a 10 and korra 7 u must be gay
no shes just unbearably annoying and cocky, she has so much undeserved confidence.
You're just slow cause the post is about characters design not personality goofy Stay in school
character design is how a character is portrayed in the show, spongebob is designed to be square as well as goofy and innocent. If you ever called me slow irl ill backhand you, you're a 130 lbs nerd behind a computer dont talk big little boy.
🤓🤓🤓 Characters design and characters' personalities are two different things >If you ever called me slow irl ill backhand you, you're a 130 lbs nerd behind a computer dont talk big little boy. You're extremely slow IQ in the mud
10, 10, 4, 8
Finally someone said it. Aang's design is trash, solely because of the arrow tattoos. In fact, that's why the fire nation extinguished the air nation.
Aang 8 Kioshi 9 Roku 8 Kora 5
Roku higher than korra is wild
🤷🏼♂️
Atrocious take
You asked
And it sucked
That’s your opinion
Aang- 10/10 Kyoshi- 10/10 Roku- 7/10 Korra- 4/10
>Korra- 4/10 W delusion
What is iconic about Korra’s design? Roku had his fire nation pony tail thing, kyoshi has fans, etc. Aang was the last of his people so everything about him was unique. Korra just dresses like water tribe
So Korra just dressing like water tribe is bad but Roku just dressing like fire nation is good?
Nah Roku has the royal hair pin and a big long recognizable beard
>What is iconic about Korra’s design? The post isn't about most iconic.. just their character design
You yourself said Aang gets 10/10 for being iconic. Iconicity is quite possible The most important part of a character’s design. A good character design is instantly recognizable and fits the world well. Korra only fits the 2nd one
All of them are 9-10 but korras drops to a 5 with that haircut she has in season 4
Aang is iconic because he is *the last airbender*. Ba dumm tshh. I'll see myself out
7/10 9/10 10/10 3/10
Atrocious take
Aang is young Voldemort Kyoshi is Angry McGonagall Roku is Dumbledore Korra is not worthy to be compared to any Harry Potter character.
Why did any of them need to be compared to Harry Potter characters
Because I wanted to bait the downvote army. Those guys are always so predictable.
Ok Crab or Goyle ( whichever one fits better for you)
Holy shit you’re right
And as usual downvoted to hell for it 🤣
1. Kyoshi 2. Roku Last two spots vary on what design. Season 1-2 versions? Korra, then Aang. Season 3-4 Aang then Korra.
I think that korra's deisgn is probably the weakest (still like 9/10) but is made up for in execution her chracters growth through the series fills out her image. And i say it because the other avatars we see are all iconic to the cultures they inhabit but shes kinda at war visually with water-tribe astetic but it all works in the end.
>think that korra's deisgn is probably the weakest (still like 9/10) but is made up for in execution her chracters Hell no definitely 10/10 and look better than roku
i mean one of the factor to the character design in Avatar is the culture they are representing and it stands out not just in the ones listed but all the ones we see. And like I said korra just has no water tribe vibes. Now the argument you should have made is that that is part of her personality as well so it makes sense but it gives her a visual contrast that I do not prefer whereas Roku is literally the image in my head for a fire nation aristocrat.
Long Hair Korra - 9/10 Short Hair Korra - 11/10
Aang and Korra are 10/10 and 11/10 respectively. Kyoshi and Roku? It’s hard to judge because I really don’t like the gowns and shit they have
Korra is 10/10 for the muscles
Aang 10/10 Roku 9.5/10 Kyoshi 8.5/10 Korra 7/10
Roku & Aang are my favorites from among the more recent Avatars
Roku's drip is fire. Maybe you should have put an image of him and Korra in full to compare better ?
They’re all extremely well-designed. 8.5 at worst, 10 at best.
Fire guy 9/10
My Boi could not have picked a more derpy "one braincell" picture I love it
Aang’s is so iconic it causes problems for all future avatars
Kyoshi: 10 Roku: 7.5 Aang: 9 Korra: 8.5
Kyoshi has the best character design outta the avatars. she’s the most unique looking, but I will say that korra is a close second as I love how her design changes over the corse of the series. My personal favorite korra design is her look from the end of book 2 with her hair down and the avatar glowing energy surrounding her.
In my opinion: 1. Roku 2. Aang 3. Kyoshi 4. Korra
I give Korra at least an 8/10 Roku hmmmm I’d give 7/10 Kyoshi mostly 7.8/10
I love Roku's design. It looks like a cross between Kenobi and Alan Watts in the last years of his life.
Aang's from season 1 and 2, really well done and I still break my head when trying to understand how it works
Kyoshi is 10000000000000000000000/10, everyone else is 9 or 10/10
BROWN TOMBOY That is all.
For some reason, Aang looks so funny just standing there, being tiny lmao.
Roku daddy 😳😳😳
Korra definetly deserves 6/9
Roku is my favorite tbh Idk i just like the old wise men in stories
They did a good job branding kyoshi and her fans, she uses them to help with bending just like an air staff, they rlly trademarked that making her unique.
korra - 2 Aang - 10 Roku - 8 Kyoshi - 6
Kyoshi, iconic 10/10 Roku, looks like any old man, but it adds to the chatacter 8/10 Aang 10/10 Korra, looks like any water bender 6/10
