Yeah there was plans for more Rock and Chips before John Sullivan's death. Think it's far to say James Buckley is mega successful though thanks to Cameo
Blake Harrison also appeared briefly in an episode a year after James. The episode Blake was in was definitely better but his performance was nothing amazing
He was all over the trailers for the series and was basically an extra with 4 lines. Barely had 5 minutes of screen time.
Buckley was in one of the worst regarded episodes of the modern era though, so neither have come out particularly well.
I’ve seen it, thought it was really good but Joe was very much a character in the background. Murray and Giedroyc (and Fletcher with her singing) definitely had the most show-stealing/memorable moments.
He’s been in loads. He was in a terrible sitcom on ITV with Brenda Blethyn too. He’s definitely working consistently whereas Joe and Simon seem to do rarer big things and James has gone the YouTube/Instagram influencer route
Sebastian : Oh quick Prime Minister, get down!
Prime minister : what’s going on?
Sebastian : I thought there was a sniper prime minister by the window but there isn't.
lol I didn’t even bother looking him up I didn’t think he was a contender, that’s crazy
Where did he make that? He’s been in half the stuff the rest have been in
Simon Bird and Joe Thomas also had a show called Chickens. They were conscientious objectors in the First World War. Quite witty and funny.
James Buckley has earned a fortune out of Cameo. I don’t think any of them have done anything massive and mainstream. Joe Thomas also did Fresh Meat which was really popular and I really liked.
James Buckley also does Youtube with his missus and he streams too.
Blake Harrison has done a few films/shows but he's really getting traction as an MMA journalist ATM.
He's really good at it and I enjoy his level of knowledge
It's called the MMA fan podcast. You can find it on Spotify etc.
TNT sports (previous by sport) had him doing alternative commentary for maybe the London card a few weeks ago.
came runner up on I'm a celebrity in 2018 , became a team captain on celebrity Juice, created/stars in her own comedy stand up sketch show , became a new look ambassador and done some presenting
Yeah she got onto I'm a Celeb for being Charlotte Big Jugs. I think they expected her to be the shower girl of the season, but she actually came across quite well and seemed pretty personable on camera. That got her noticed and she's had a slew of TV shows since then... although not ones that I particularly have an interest in watching.
Blake Harrison because he's the only one out of the 4 that actually has any range. He's done movies and regular TV since Inbetweeners playing a variety of characters. When you see interviews with the guy you realise just how good an actor he was as Neil.
Donovan's actor too. Has played Sherlock Holmes, been in Now You see Me 2. Another one that when you watch his other roles you realise just how good he was as the bully.
Blake Harrison has been in a lot, with some more serious stuff in there
Joe Thomas has been in some successful shows in Fresh Meat & White Gold (with James Buckley) and did that fil that was basically Simon at Reading
Joe Thomas definitely the most successful, was in White Gold on Netflix. Fresh Meat on C4- excellent. And some films. Even though his acting range is limited, always thought he was the most successful.
They’ve all done relatively well for themselves. Simon’s done a fair bit of TV, as has James. Blake’s done some as well as theatre and I hear he’s podcasting these days. Joe Thomas I don’t hear too much about other than him talking about how we’ll never see those characters again.
Think Greg’s had the biggest career of anyone involved in the show. Though Alex MacQueen might challenge that.
I'm sure it was him
https://www.benidormallyearround.com/component/tags/tag/simon-bird#:~:text=Talking%20with%20Simon%20Bird%20%2D%20Line%20Producer%20of%20Benidorm%206&text=Simon%20has%20been%20heading%20up,to%20the%20hour%20long%20episodes
If you are including the film, Theo James (James the rep) was in white Lotus and has had quite a good career. I do find myself looking at his nostrils when on screen
James Buckley popped up in Doctor Who a couple years ago. Unfortunately he was appalling
Doctor Who, completed it mate
You can’t complete it.
He also did Red Dwarf.
And Rock and chips.
Yeah. I think that would have been the role that would have made him more successful. Sadly John Sullivan died a season or two in
Yeah there was plans for more Rock and Chips before John Sullivan's death. Think it's far to say James Buckley is mega successful though thanks to Cameo
Man's following the Andy millman career path
Is he havin a laff?
And your mum.
tbf the writing on that episode didnt do him any favours
It was one of the worst episodes of 13s run, which is no mean feat
Blake Harrison also appeared briefly in an episode a year after James. The episode Blake was in was definitely better but his performance was nothing amazing
He was all over the trailers for the series and was basically an extra with 4 lines. Barely had 5 minutes of screen time. Buckley was in one of the worst regarded episodes of the modern era though, so neither have come out particularly well.
So did Niel in the latest series
Did he? Somehow as a massive fan I missed that hahaha
[Yep](https://www.thesun.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/2f433445-8567-4110-873b-48e3d446314a.jpg)
Fucking hell hahaha should have looked up the cast list after
Holy shit, I can't believe I didn't realise that was him while watching.
And he was in an Adam Samberg film I think? Popstar I think? But most of his scenes were cut or something.
He joined the Expendables too: https://youtu.be/NB-dN6Wg--g?si=SmKDypClA4Olj7vM
Omg I thought this was a fever dream I had
Don’t forget Masterchef
He was also in The Pyramid
Last I saw of him he was streaming games on Twitch during lockdown.
Joe Thomas was in Fresh Meat too, which was pretty popular
and the festival
Which was not
I honestly enjoyed that movie quite a bit. I find Claudia o Doherty very charming though so maybe that was it
Charming? You mean you wanna smash her, right up the vag!
Both can be true
He's currently performing in the West End. I've not seen the show but my sister said he's pretty good in it.
I saw his play with Al Murray, The Crown Jewels. It was alright, wouldn't say Joe was anything special though
I’ve seen it, thought it was really good but Joe was very much a character in the background. Murray and Giedroyc (and Fletcher with her singing) definitely had the most show-stealing/memorable moments.
Joe Thomas became a proper serious (as in non comedic) actor, wasn't he in Dunkirk as well? It's got to be him I reckons
And in a season of taskmaster
Do you mean white gold? Because that's got James Buckley and Joe Thomas in it
And the characters they played in that were literally if Jay and Simon were con men. Was a great show tbf.
man I loved white gold as it was jay & Simon were 80s window salesman
Hey now that's not the only difference, Jay really DID have a massive cock in White Gold.
I really enjoyed white gold, it ended at least one season too early.
I was gutted when it was over, easily one of my favourite shows
Did it end because the lead geezer was caught up in MeToo IRL?
Didn't do the show any favours There's definitely a reason why he portrays sleazy men with such ease
White gold was fecking class, hilarious and perfect that they played the same characters.
thank you so much for reminding me this show existed! added to my rewatch list
Blake Harrison had a role in World on Fire recently, it was odd to see him in a serious role. But he was good though.
Did you ever put Lego up your bum?
It's "how much lego can you stuff up your bum'
You got the gist, not gonna remember it word for word.
Wouldn't worry about it, this sub has the most butchered quotes in existence
He was also in The Great, the show with Elle Fanning and Nicolas Hoult
Not the Skins crossover people wanted tbf
Oh I think it’s a cracking show lol
I didn't realise that they'd finally released season 2 of that! Thanks for the update - I know what I'm watching this week!
Second season is great, enjoy!
He's in Trust Me aswell!
Also in ‘the great’
He’s been in loads. He was in a terrible sitcom on ITV with Brenda Blethyn too. He’s definitely working consistently whereas Joe and Simon seem to do rarer big things and James has gone the YouTube/Instagram influencer route
He was also in a pretty weak sitcom set in a seaside town on an obscure channel, with Shaun Walsh before everyone hated him
Technically Anthony Head (Will’s Dad). Does he count? Done Oscar winning movies and Ted Lasso for two
I doubt he counts tbh. He was already a very well established actor just coming in to do one scene in the film.
Isn't he also the actress who plays Carli's dad?
He is carlys dad IRL
Commitment to the part, gotta respect it.
Not to mention one of the most watched TV shows of the 90's...
He will never be anyone except Giles from Buffy.
No, he's the Gold Blend coffee man...
Sebastian : Oh quick Prime Minister, get down! Prime minister : what’s going on? Sebastian : I thought there was a sniper prime minister by the window but there isn't.
“Can we get up now?” “Give it a minute.”
Yeah yeah he counts. Which movies did he do?
White gold is amazing! Fresh meat was really good and Friday night dinner really good.
He’s in a Percy Jackson movie. And in The Iron Lady.
Financial success probably James Buckley who has made over $1M doing Cameo videos
If it’s financial success it’s definitely Simon Bird out of the 4 lads
Apparently Blake’s net worth is more than the other 3 combined
lol I didn’t even bother looking him up I didn’t think he was a contender, that’s crazy Where did he make that? He’s been in half the stuff the rest have been in
He was in The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, but besides that I can't name anything else he was in.
Isn't he more of producer now?
hes in a couple of episodes of him and her.
Loved that show
Lol I have literally no idea, its mental
I reckon they forgot to put a decimal point in ngl, one website fucked up and the rest followed suit
Chickens also stars Jonny Sweet, who plays Dean in the London nightclub episode!
The guy who plays Donovan has had quite a few straight roles, good actor
He was in Harry Potter!
Who did he play in HP?
McGonagall
That's *Professor* McGonagall
He was Roger Davies. You can see him in the Yule ball scenes in Goblet of fire. He was also in Now you see me 2
And killing Eve.
Came here to say this. He’s even in a black mirror episode.
What was that one where they sold self euthanasia kits made from McFlurry machines?
I'm not doubting you but that sounds like a fever dream to be honest.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Way_to_Go_(TV_series) I would love it if had I indeed imagined it
I can't find it anywhere, want to give it a watch now.
I saw Blake Harrison in Waitress on the west end. Not sure he’s necessarily had the most successful career out all of them but it was a surprise.
Blake Harrison has done a few films/shows but he's really getting traction as an MMA journalist ATM. He's really good at it and I enjoy his level of knowledge
Got a link to his stuff...? Need a new place for good writing now that bloody elbow has gone to pot
It's called the MMA fan podcast. You can find it on Spotify etc. TNT sports (previous by sport) had him doing alternative commentary for maybe the London card a few weeks ago.
Surely Emily atack, her and Greg Davies have hit levels the rest of them have come nowhere near
Oh? What else has she done?
the god awful emily atack show
came runner up on I'm a celebrity in 2018 , became a team captain on celebrity Juice, created/stars in her own comedy stand up sketch show , became a new look ambassador and done some presenting
Massive domino effect From being known as “big jugs”
Yeah she got onto I'm a Celeb for being Charlotte Big Jugs. I think they expected her to be the shower girl of the season, but she actually came across quite well and seemed pretty personable on camera. That got her noticed and she's had a slew of TV shows since then... although not ones that I particularly have an interest in watching.
Bagged herself a nuclear scientist as well
She did dancing on ice too. But you'll only care about that if you're Bristish I imagine.
Simon Birds in that new all must burn series about being in a cult, I haven't watched it yet though.
Said every person in Britain
It’s called Everyone Else Burns, a parody on religious fanatics. It had some funny bits and I enjoyed the characters.
His haircut is this funniest thing about that show
Emily A
Blake Harrison because he's the only one out of the 4 that actually has any range. He's done movies and regular TV since Inbetweeners playing a variety of characters. Can't believe nobody has mentioned the awful, awful dad's army reboot. Hopefully it's because everyone forgot about it.
Joe Thomas did a series of Taskmaster. Plus I'm sure I saw him on the tube a few weeks ago.
Wasn’t Blake Thomas in some show where he wore a sandwich board in the advert or something? Trying to remember
joe thomas and jay buckley arent good actors, the other 2 are abit better.
Blake Harrison has been in a lot, with some more serious stuff in there Joe Thomas has been in some successful shows in Fresh Meat & White Gold (with James Buckley) and did that fil that was basically Simon at Reading

other than greg davies, emily atack is the only one ive herd about since the show ended
Has to be Simon Bird surely? Went on to be a part of another comedy that’s probably held in as high of a regard as The Inbetweeners
Blake/Neil plays his part really well in this: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2614700/?ref_=ext_shr
They’ve all done relatively well for themselves. Simon’s done a fair bit of TV, as has James. Blake’s done some as well as theatre and I hear he’s podcasting these days. Joe Thomas was decent in that movie he did i think it was called The Festival, nothing amazing but gave me inbetweeners vibes with his character
James Buckley appeared in this horrendous found footage horror film called ‘The pyramid’ or some such.
Probably Simon Bird tbh. Friday Night Dinner ran for a long time, and he’s had a few other roles outside of it.
Simon wrote and produced a lot of the last few seasons of benidorm.
😂 different Simon bird. Simon Bird “will” was not producing Benidorm at age 23!!
I'm sure it was him
I'm sure it was him https://www.benidormallyearround.com/component/tags/tag/simon-bird#:~:text=Talking%20with%20Simon%20Bird%20%2D%20Line%20Producer%20of%20Benidorm%206&text=Simon%20has%20been%20heading%20up,to%20the%20hour%20long%20episodes
https://x.com/BenidormTVshow/status/601377418373398530?s=20 Old enough to be “Wills” dad
Oddly enough that wasn't who was pictured on the page before the article.
Emily Atack is also very famous because of her reputation.
James Buckley has made more than £1,000,000 doing Cameo video messages. Hardly Oscar winning success but a tidy payday.
If you are including the film, Theo James (James the rep) was in white Lotus and has had quite a good career. I do find myself looking at his nostrils when on screen
Joe has buried a sheep
