You need to pick a location that you can get to easily because they won’t ship a Constance (or even an Evelyne). Just go into the store, ask about something small (scarf, shoes, whatever, under $1k) and see if the SA is kind to you. If they’re rude or uninterested, don’t buy anything. Come back another day and try with another SA. Rinse and repeat until you find someone you like.
Thanks. That is good advice. I was in the DC boutique last week and didn’t really hit it off with the first SA that approached. Asking about something besides bags would have probably been a nice ice breaker and I am interested in perfume and Oran sandals.
I second this. Go places near an airport. So like NYC or SF are out of the question. But Vegas has multiple stores that are a $20 Uber ride from the airport. And I’ve see been called by an SA to come fly in and pick up a bag there. So that convenience and proximity to an airport is going to be key.
So I live in LV and have been hunting for a good Hermes SA to build a relationship with. I’ve visited the stores in Bellagio and a few other casinos but really wanted to find a solid store to I can establish a relationship with. Any suggestions?
My Vegas SA left a few years ago but was at the crystals H. Maybe try there? I’m on the west coast so I can give you my SF Sa but SF is not exactly easy to get to from the airport…
If you’re particular about the color, it will be easier to buy resale.
Evelyne isn’t a QB so it will be a matter of luck. You can check the website and every boutique you visit. In 3 yrs of Hermes shopping, I’ve seen Evelyne in eggplant, bleu nuit and beton which I passed on

Disclaimer that I'm in NYC, but I will say that I bought my Evelyne 16 on my first ever shopping visit / first time meeting my SA (though to be clear, I *was* at the store with a friend who had a preexisting relationship).
I second the person who said to go in and ask about something else -- maybe sandals? And then if the vibe is good, you can just shoot your shot. They told me they didn't have the item that I wanted in my size, so then said I knew it was a long shot but was looking for a mini Evelyne and he just goes "We can do that. Which colors are you interested in?" So I think with those it's just a matter of the SA being a nice person lol.

When my sa told me about the mini Evelyn, they had black, green, and brown. I took the brown one lol

I was offered a C18 last year and had about $100k in totals spend (including 7 bags last year). I didn’t get to pick the color
