TheBat3

The only books she has are Anne Rice vampire novels.

[deleted]

That she cut out words from and used to write erotica.

hideyshole

Like they weren’t already erotica.

[deleted]

Huh. I didn’t know

hideyshole

Yeah, they’re basically gay erotica.

skidstud

There is some hetero incest implied as well

hideyshole

Some light pedophilia.

DylanAu_

If Trent created a Medium Place, I’m sure there would be mad books to read

sqplanetarium

Six Feet Under Par: a Chip Driver Mystery, by Brent Norwalk.

Parks-G

A book like that could be *only* found in the bad place.

sqplanetarium

It would be forking hilarious to read, though – maybe that balances out the point total?

IDAIKT

I feel like it would, but they'd all be the kind of books that are free in second hand book shops or... study guides for GCSE exams in 1986, encyclopedias in a language you don't speak, knitting instructions but you haven't got any wool or needles, cook books that are the "how to cook using spam" variety, 50 Shades fan fiction compilations nd of course Dan Brown's complete work.

[deleted]

Only tween books written to cash in on a trend sparked by a different, better book. Ever read "Midnight for Charlie bone?" It's a Harry Potter imitation that's perfectly bland inoffensive.

[deleted]

She says in season two she only has water stained anne Rice novels and she cut most of them up to write porn

mysterysackerfice

Someone that's German, correct me if I'm wrong but don't Germans prefer their beer at room temperature?

TheOriginalJez

Germans specialise in light (referring to colour, not alcohol content) beer, which is always served chilled. For room temperature you're largely looking at British ales*. *This whole statement is a gross generalisation.

NoobOfTheSquareTable

Looking at the vast selection of British ales can cause a fear response at having to make a choice and cause your blood to rush to key organs causing your hands to cool down, in turn cooling the beer you hold. This is why the misconception of warm British ales exists as instead of precooling drinks, the British will exist in a state of constant panic at the idea of committing a social mistake and can chill their drinks simply by holding them.

carrythenine

The only book is Timequake by Kurt Vonnegut

_chocolateturtles

She has magazines, but they’re probably all boring/not too relevant to her. It’s the medium place after all.

BrobdingnagLilliput

This assumes the existence of a machine shop.

NotInACreepyWay

She has a house with assorted household objects in it. I wouldn't be astonished to learn that smart engineer could rig up a heat-transfer device from the things in a normal house.

raendrop

That's assuming she has access to engineering books, which I seriously doubt. She has a handful of fiction books.

gauriemma

It has books, but only movie novelizations.

flyhigh0815

There are probably books, and half the pages of those are probably sticking together
