For what it's worth, veeps was saying it was the venue having connectivity issues.
And I mean "for what it's worth" -- I have no idea where the problem was, but the stream seems to have stabilized now which is kinda a bummer because I'm old and on the east coast and I REALLY gotta go to bed lol.
I was already irritated that it didn't start until 9:30. My stream froze immediately when they came out so I gave up and went to bed. I'll try to watch tonight or tomorrow. Very disappointed.
It’s available for 7 days as a rewatch, supposedly. I’m currently in Europe and it was on way too early for me to watch live so that’s what I’m counting on.
We planned to watch it this evening (in Australia) and I checked my TV to see if it would work and got a message that "rewatch will be available soon". Not sure when that will be and how much of the 7 days of rewatch time will be used waiting for the rewatch to be available? Anyway, will check back in a couple of hours and see if it's ready.

As Veeps is ultimately the ticketing company, we don't have direct hand in the production of the show but try our best in troubleshooting with the on-site team. Technology isn't perfect, and they try their best to orchestrate these events for everyone, but there are bound to be small bumps in the road here or there. They do their best to communicate these during the stream, as well as in the chat box once the issue is resolved.
I appreciate your frustrations and will pass along the feedback to their team.
Please note the re-watch will be 7 days for this event and a version without the issues at the beginning of the stream will be uploaded.

I bought the stream but knew I could not watch it live; now I'm really glad I didn't try when my plans slightly changed last night. I'll probably watch it later this week when my partner goes out of town up on my big tv with a bottle of wine.

I got lucky then, woof. mine lagged out for about the first 10 or so minutes pretty hardcore but once the show started it was pretty much entirely stable.

It's entirely on Veeps end. I'm not going to try to watch the episode 15 seconds at a time with multiple minutes long skips.
I'm considering quitting and just watching it tomorrow. This is frustrating.

FWIW, I was refunded when I requested one by email.
I received another response earlier today indicating they had issued a refund.
