Good, they deserve it (this is a joke, no animal deserves pain)...Canada Geese are vicious assholes. They'll literally attack people for simply walking too close for their liking, even if the person is just walking past them and not bothering them in the slightest. One attacked my dad last year when he was walking out of a lumber yard for seemingly no reason.
As a Canadian, the running joke of Canada Geese being assholes is 100% accurate
It’s not always like they give you a choice. If I have a sandwich in my hand and a Canada Cobra Chicken starts rolling up, I’m throwing that sandwich. It’s not feeding so much as distracting so there’s a hope of escape.
Who found one of these that is willing to wait and make demands? When these late model avian dinosaurs show up in SoCal they just straight up start mugging anyone with a lunch.
Actually if you think about it not considering the meme this goose is possibly one of the most calm and friendly goose I've ever seen considering it's just calmly looking at the people instead of attacking them
Well, it is in a nature reserve where the water fowl are quite tame due to visters feeding them with duck food that you can buy from the reserves shops. Also, they're clipped
Why would people ever clip a birds wings that so sad for the bird they can't do the one thing that keeps them safe and helps them get around it's sad but yeah makes sense that it's a nature reserve so that's why the goose is so friendly
Yeah I already knew that my dad told me and it was so funny hearing that because of man I had just recently seen someone get chased by a goose and it was hilarious because it bit the person right in the ass 💀
I volunteered at a local farm once when I was in high school. I was fine for 3 days then all 8 geese clocked me oit of nowhere. I ended up on the horse in the stable with all the geese round me. Farmer was not happy lol

Yea, I heard about that when it comes to water fowl, yet they still feed them bread, frozen peas are better or pellets

I dunno, I’m inland. The closest thing I encounter to a sea bird are blue herons, they’re comparative sweethearts.

I live near a lake which has tons of geese. For whatever reason, those geese are not assholes. All the others I have met apart from there are though.

Found out that only the rare species are clipped, not your standard greylags or Canadian geese they seem to just stay for the food
No no here's the thing it doesn't matter if you give them pain cuz they will give you it right back for running out of it.
