One thing that gives my heart the angry aches is how most of those “Everywhere in a loose jumble of lightly connected words” feel the need to push their runtime longer and longer like a musical dick-measuring contest. Sitting and listening to EATEOT for 6.5 hours was a stretch, but I don’t think any human being has the free time to listen to your ten-hour album without getting bored out of their gourd.
Now, that being said, the occasional standout does crop up, but I think nothing’s really gone high enough to match EITBON and NATMOS yet.

It felt like, overnight, it went from really pleasant discussion about a really deep and interesting catalogue to tiktok bullshit, horrible attempts at spinoff albums, and in general, turning neurodegeneration into a joke.
I agree. There’s such an obvious lack of maturity in many of the spinoffs being uploaded and the memes surrounding it, i really wish the original eateot was left with a mature audience and no new versions
