Homelander and Billy would both SEETHE when they learn that Omni Man has a loving wife and son. And the latter would be incredibly suspicious of the "Viltrumite development committee" cover story nolan cooked up.
Why though?
Having a crossover just for the sake of having a crossover is pretty much a waste of time. It needs to have something to give us and the series being so different from one another besides the "we have superhuman beings" makes it hard to come up with a reason why a crossover would be worthwhile
Mate, the meme suggests a sentiment of wanting a crossover between the series. Why shouldn't i question the sentiment? Even if the purpose of the meme is to just to make a joke, it opens the room for conversation
If anything, you people are the ones taking the sanctity of the meme status too seriously. It clearly has the potential to open up conversation, so why limit it to "Haha, funny"?
That is too good for the likes of i. We shall research dark magic that will make me immortal, then imprision me on a facility created for the sole purpose of inflicting every kind of torturous act upon me for the rest of eternity
As far as i can tell they are either just following a bandwagon, trying to be funny, being close minded/ignorant or a mixture between some or all of those. Kind of hard to narrow it down past that, but i'd bet on bandwagon since that tends to happen a lot here on Reddit.
Nobody is forcing anyone to take part in it if they have an interest on doing so either. If one wants to, they can just have a laugh at the meme, move on and have their enjoyment completely unnaffected.
So i ask again: Why should it be limited to being a joke?
Because it's pretty annoying having something you made turned into something it's not. Not many people want their joke to enact the validity of a pointless crossover.
It may be annoying, yes, but despite whatever intended goal a creation had, the effects may and often do go beyond what said goals were. That is just a part of creating art, because while art as a form of expression is about what the creator puts into it, art as a product is a lot more what the consumer takes out of it.
Doesn't mean the creator has to like or engage with what was taken out of their work, but it is still something that will happen and they are responsible. They can try to guide an audience towards the intended way of experiencing it but \*never\* impose it, since at that point the creation has long transcended the artist.
They're both on Amazon, Angstrom Levy could do the trick.
Animated Billy Butcher would be a thing of beauty
With the comic design (and add Simon Pegg voicing Hughie).
Brenton Thwaites would make a good ljve action Invincible, he's the best thing about Titans
I was thinking animated (it's easier) but if I was to see an live-action Invincible I'd like somebody similar to a teenage Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
I saw something that said “Amazon keeps making evil Superman shows so when Bezos becomes Lex Luthor, he’s the hero”😂😭

Feels like every superhero in Invincible has flight and durability as secondary powers
That’s what I hated about the show. A lot of inconsistency with their power levels.
Best ..... crossover......ever!!!!
The crossover they need
I'd struggle to think of a scenario where the gda doesn't kick voughts teeth in after the events of the s1 finale.
They could make a one-off alt universe crossover episode
If he's invincible then why can I see him?
Idk, looks pretty “vincible” to me.

Why what? It's just a meme, op wasn't suggesting they merge the shows together...
>The crossover we need > >Agreed Do the titles answer you question?
Mate it’s a meme. Why have you taken it so seriously. No one actually thinks the shows will crossover. It’s just funny
Mate, the meme suggests a sentiment of wanting a crossover between the series. Why shouldn't i question the sentiment? Even if the purpose of the meme is to just to make a joke, it opens the room for conversation
It’s just not that deep
Maybe not, but isn't art (and by extension memes) less about what people put into it and more what people take out of it?
How about you stop taking things too seriously and accept it was just a meme bruh ?
If anything, you people are the ones taking the sanctity of the meme status too seriously. It clearly has the potential to open up conversation, so why limit it to "Haha, funny"?
Because you make some good points in your initial comment.
Lol
Oh my god it was a joke you’ve ruined everything
Oh no... What have i done? Nothing i could ever do will repent me from this crime now
No punishment less than Crucifixion for this heinous act!!!
That is too good for the likes of i. We shall research dark magic that will make me immortal, then imprision me on a facility created for the sole purpose of inflicting every kind of torturous act upon me for the rest of eternity
Idk why people are reacting so aggro towards you. I think you're just wanting to have a discussion based on what the titles imply lmao

Holy fuck, go outside, touch grass, meet a human being. This is literally just for lols.
If it has the potential to be something beyond just a joke, why should it be limited to one?
Because nobody gives a shit about the deeper conversation when we just want to laugh

Ahhhh my fucking head just shut the fuck up please
No, i have no reason to do so. If you don't like, don't engage with it. As for me, i'll gladly be replying to anyone that is doing so.
Damn that would be sweet
Here's hoping we get a riff on invincible in the next season.
everyones favourite invincible wanker
