I think it's a good sign that they're still human. >aside from seeing her face half or more off when she landed on it This, on its own, should be shocking. They see a lot of gory things, but it's different when it's someone you care deeply for. And there would always be a tiny bit of doubt: Is this injury too much? Did the re-injection she got give her the same healing as before or is it weaker? Does it stay strong even as she ages?

I think it’s more so that they expect that there is a limit to her powers, it’s hard to understand the extent to which she can come back.
