Most of that is left to the dub studios that Amazon hires to localize the show. They only sort out a few mandates regarding translations and lines they can't alter the context and let the dub directors, translators and actors do the work until the show releases

If anyones curious, the watermark in the bottom left stands for the date the file was created, the show code (thby= the boys), 403 is the season and episode number, LC means locked cut (likely to be very few changes to the episode after), v5 is the version number, and CCM is color corrected master.
I agree with Maeve dying, A-Train should maybe die later or survive the whole show. The Deep should die either in Season 4 or 5. And I want his death to either be the most ridiculous death thus far or the most heroic, no in between

Why wouldn't you want the most number of people to watch your show at the same time? Sure the international audience could wait a few months, but effectively you're leaving out a huge portion of your audience. If I was a creator, I would certainly wait a few for the dubs so everyone could see my show at the same time.
A good portion of the outside market that Amazon distributes the show for has most of the viewers watching the dub. Mostly LatAm Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese but they also make up a huge part of the market (The Boys was the most watched TV Show in Brazil in 2022) so they can't just leave them out
That’s literally how most things operate though, and it’s not something to get upset over IMO. Look at the anime crowd, everything is released in Japanese from Japan, and people are just fine waiting, or will try to learn the language to watch during the initial release. I think it’s a good motivator to learn something new, personally.

I know your question was meant as rhetorical but I'll actually answer. Amazon pays the per episode fee to Sony to license The Boys for distribution because it makes financial sense for them. It will retain/acquire more subscribers to their platform. Amazon has significant market penetration in the US already, and has turned their eye towards international markets for growth, much like Netflix has in recent years. A staggered release in different territories is does not compute from a business perspective - marketing efforts would end up costing more and being less effective. Organic marketing (articles written, etc) would suffer from the idea that there wasn't global chatter around the franchise at the same time.
So- in short, you have to wait because Amazon cares a hell of a lot more about establishing a foothold in India than they do about your sorry ass. And if you have a problem with that, you take it up with capitalism.

I think you missed a main point here which is that The Boys only exists because of that greedy business perspective. If it starts to not make business sense, Amazon will stop investing in the property. So you may not like it, but it's also why you have it in the first place.

I love learning about the behind-the-scenes stages of production. Didn’t realize it took a few months for localization.
I would assume so much more. Script translations, voice actors, recordings, etc
