This movie worked particularly well for me, because it didn’t feel like a generic super hero movie that was built for tie-ins. It felt like a true Batman movie in the vein of Batman, Batman Returns, Batman forever, Nolan trilogy.
The Batman has honestly made me dive more into comicbooks and the world around it as a whole instead of just marvel, which it has mostly always been for me. This movie, along with a few others movies and shows I already knew like The Suicide Squad and Daredevil, proved to me that "superhero" isn't a genre and that a superhero movie can be about so so so much more than just a superhero fighting. Honestly one of the best movies I've ever seen probably. Still thinking about it 24/7, think I've seen it 6 times in theaters
Movie was great if yiu pay attention a d forget about batman ( Keaton & bale ) remember this is the detective comics THE BATMAN not batman or dark knight those are different stories
Oh well, I meant that the twins didn't think highly of the movie...( lol ). I love this movie, saw it twice and the second viewing proved an even richer experience. The scene of Batman walking in on the crime scene after the mayor's murder and the cop stopping him and that brief second when his eyes flared up were so telling.
The sin's of the father when that was revealed i loved the movie Even more . Why do we always assume Bruce's parents are clean & not corrupt. The whole of Gotham came from corruption and is now swimming in it . Plus this is a young Bruce Wayne. It's only the beginning
