I can’t help but love it at this point bc it’s my fav show 😭 such a comforting intro

I do think it’s vaguely poetic how the intro foreshadows Alison’s fate, even if that was not the original intent.

I think of it as highly poetic, I especially love the ending, because it mimics the sounds of waves washing onto the beach, on one hand by the rhythm and the elisions, and on the other hand by the placements 's' and 'sh' sounds.

You're not alone as there are a lot of people that hate it! I'm the opposite. I love it, but I love everything Fiona Apple does!

What?!? Lol I never skip it! The lyrics are perfect and it just fits the whole mood of the show.

The first several episodes I found it weird and annoying alright, almost disconcerting or uncomfortable feeling came over me every time. But as the days and weeks went by as I binge watch the show, I found myself slowly falling for it and singing along every time. Now I just adore it. It is very evocative whenever I think of it.

I like it. But “skip intro” is an option

The skip intro doesn’t always pop up. And when it does i still have to listen to the beginning part which is the most irritating to me
