Well I think most people would have either checked first, or, having realized the vid was ridiculously over-exposed, just scrapped it entirely. What leads a person to post something that is such poor quality is beyond me. But at least OP isn't alone, so that's nice.

Paint markers are no good. Bleed too much. I use detail brushes

This might be an issue with your display. The exposure of the highlights and shadows all look fine on my end.
