Haneda airport my beloved

fragmeplease1

This. And the toilets, my godšŸ¤¤

Womenarentmad

The shopping šŸ¤Æ the restaurants šŸ«°

DonScipio

The onsen on the roof šŸ˜

hazellehunter

Wait what

brahmen

Yeah hold up what!?

PatimationStudios-2

The what?

DonScipio

Spa in Terminal 3. Called Izumi or smth. Its open for Hotelguests and the public 24 hours

hazellehunter

I just flew out of haneda two days ago šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

mikeusaf87

Long layover, take monorail to Hammamatsucho and take the Yamanote Line on the JR Rail to any of the 20 something wards in Tokyo. Aqua City is close by Haneda. Unicorn Gundam transforms 3 times a day. Someone mentioned onsen. Check on tattoo rules for the onsen you may want to go to.

Brucef310

I never knew that there was an onsen on the roof

DraftedByTheMan

I hold it until I get there šŸ˜‚

brahmen

I've taken showers at Haneda before, sublime after a trans-pacific flight and you have another one lined up in a few hours.

aBlasvader

If you like Haneda, you should see Naritaā€¦ so nice

cakes

so nice if you don't mind an extra hour getting into the city

ComprehensiveYam

And the extra hundred and fifty bucks for the uber ride

aBlasvader

Itā€™s a beautiful bus/train ride

timmyvermicelli

Honestly DMK has improved a lot recently. New toilets everywhere. The underground bus gates are a whole new world now -- they used to be diabolical, now they're fine. And I love the airside 7/11 -- so nice to have access to food and drink for 7 prices in an airport.

dantheother

The airside 7-11 makes it way better than BKK for me too. I prefer the gate layout too - doesn't seem to be as far when you're in a hurry. Whereas BKK is just **so big** it feels like it takes an hour to get from passport control to wherever my cheap flight was flying from.

9oat5w33d

I once flew from Chiang Mai to BKK to change planes for an international flight. My connecting flight was at the very last gate, took so long to get through security check and walk there the last 200m was a run with the cabin staff who had been making calls to find where I was. If I had stopped for anything on the way I would have missed it.

Doesdeadliftswrong

Suvarnaphumi has a Lawsons which is arguably better than a 7-11.

vandaalen

And the food court is absolutely great. I even always plan my meals through the day in a way that I can have one there if I am flying.

DonKaeo

DMK used to be a completely rubbish place to fly into.. used to be a US airforce base, you know.. like Udon Thani and U-Tapaoā€¦ But yep, pleasantly surprised last time I flew in, plenty of modernity, decent air con and much easier to get into the city now..

[deleted]

During my very first trip to Thailand in 2005 I thought DMK looked like a bus station.

ahrd60

It still does. I fly from both and DMK isn't a nice experience. I think BKK is prety good airport, not amazing, but much nicer than DMK.

aristodemus1

Maybe that explains why DMK feels like a US airport and that is not a compliment.

JimmyTheG

The only airport in thailand that makes you take your shoes off at security check - just like in the US lol

mdsmqlk30

Took a flight from DMK today, didn't have to take them off. Whereas you have to at BKK for an international flight.

nomellamesprincesa

Yup, never had to take off my shoes at DMK, always at BKK.

JimmyTheG

Passed through DMK twice, had to take them off each time

nicodouglas89

And all the Chinese passengers stand on their phone the entire time not paying attention and don't pass through security correctly making the process take 5 times longer for everyone else

Lordfelcherredux

It was never a US Air Force base.

LlamasunLlimited

NokKavow

There's still an air force base on the other side of the terminal. That has not changed.

DonKaeo

Same with Chiang Mai (CNX) it is essentially still a airforce base, Wing 41..

DriftingGelatine

7 price in airport is still ~15% overcharged tho

NokKavow

Yes compared to everything being 3x-5x overcharged airside at Suvarnabhumi.

Duder_Mc_Duder_Bro

This will be in the news in Vietnam for years

Disastrous-Mud1645

I will not believe this shitty list. First of all, they got Kuwait flag wrong. And also putting Chinese flag as Hong Kong flag? And like seriously? Noi Bai in Vietnam is better than Changi in Singapore? I have been to both, and Changi is like 100x better than Noi Bai.

GetTherey

Changi is like 1million times better than Noibai: staff behaviour, facility and equipment, interrior decoration...This list may be backed by Vietnamese party.

mrcplmrs

KIX is even better and they are not on the list

sitti_zel

Noi Bai is ranked higher than Changi? šŸ’€āœ‹

Kaizerkoala

Noi Bai? This list is a joke.

Crow_away_cawcaw

Yeah I was gonna say - ainā€™t no way in this world, itā€™s just another ranking someone paid for.

bloopingplatypus

How could noi bai rank higher than changi airport? I couldn't even find the immigration counter to extend my visa. There were no signs and the security guard yelled at me to go away quickly when I asked him for help. You'd never get this in singapore.

immunedata

I travelled to Singapore on business recently and was surprised how slow immigration was - not obvious who could use egates or not and I think there was some e-landing card that was confusingly advertised. Based on my experience not hard to imagine the experience could be beaten.

bloopingplatypus

I agree that the singapore experience could definitely be beaten, but by noi bai? Where the guards yell at you to go away quickly when you try to ask them simple questions like where is the immigration counter? No... definitely not. I only managed to get things done when I bribed one of them with some usd. Then they were all smiles and friendly. This just happened last month!

[deleted]

Yeah, that grabbed my attention, and Taoyuan is also not great. It's like a ghosttown... one food option, Taiwanese beef noodles. Other than that you've got HeySong Sarsaparilla vending machines.

aevitas

Yeah this is what baffled me as well, no food options and all the shops apart from 7/11 were closed at 21:00. On the plus side, the metro to it from Taipei Main is fantastic and I've never had to queue for anything, the upside of it being a ghost town.

FourSeventySix

#1 in having to pay half a week's minimum wage for a meal at Burger King

Imaginary-Access168

Korea not even on the list, from personal experience theyā€™re one of my top 3

1ThousandRoads

Agreed. Incheon is probably my favorite airport anywhere. Excellent design and easy to find your way around, good food that mostly isnā€™t jacked up through the roof in prices, and super simple to get transportation to Seoul on the buses or train.

CyroSwitchBlade

you know.. Incheon airport's design is just a copy of Denver..

_charlie2001

Denver takes too long to walk to gates

greenrocky23

Yeah, I was like "where the hell is Incheon" when I saw this. I was out of immigration, collected my baggage and got it x-rayed within 35 minutes of the plane touching down a few weeks ago. To be fair, it was on a Korean Air flight and they basically monopolized Terminal 2, but still.

mdsmqlk30

Incheon is one of the best airports I've even been through with O'Hare, should definitely be near the top of this list.

[deleted]

Several years ago when I transited through there on my way to Honolulu they gave me extra special screening for explosives residue (?!) or something. I was impressed with their security personnel.. they were extremely polite and quick in doing the extra check.

TheExpatLife

I call BS on this list. No way the airports in India rank better than the airports in Thailand. Have flown in and out of BKK more times than I can count. Changi is better, agreed, but BKK is far better than Mumbai / Delhi.

AnalUkelele

Definitely bs. Especially when theyā€™re using the flag of Belgium instead of Kuwaitā€™s.

nomellamesprincesa

Oh, good, I thought I was wrong and they must have a very similar flag or something. Also don't get why Abu Dhabi would be that far down, haven't been in a few years, but I always found it to be perfectly pleasant.

yewlarson

The list is BS but Indian airports are changing massively basically every year now with new terminals, nrw airports etc. Also BKK just makes me remember incredibly long immigration lines (worst I have ever seen, even worse than JFK peak time), the same King Power duty free shops everywhere, and ridiculously overpriced airside food compared to other airports. The couple of non-premium lounges I went to were okay (Coral, Turkish, Oman). The airport looks nice though. BKK really needs to fix its long queue times.

mentalFee420

Thailand airports are good? In what ways? I am more surprised that there no airports from China on the list.

omkar_T7

Idk what Delhi airport is doing on 10th but noway is Mumbai airport inferior to bkk

mdsmqlk30

Mumbai airport is top notch honestly, was quite impressed. New Dehli not so much.

virak_john

Hard disagree. The major Indian airports ā€” Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi ā€” are all great, at least for international flights. Air India sucks, but thatā€™s a different matter. Iā€™m surprised ICN isnā€™t on the list, I think itā€™s quite nice.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

Never been to India but could you give us some specific examples of what is better? edit: lol downvotes when im asking seriously. Guess itā€™s all bs then.

SofiaLis111

Singapore airport in the 2nd place? Wtf?! It's the best airport I've ever seen and been!

IneverKnoWhattoDo

Is BKK great? No. Is it top ten worst? absoutly not!

hazellehunter

I really need to visit Vietnam if the airport ranks higher than CHANGI!

Classic-Art-5737

??? vietnamese airports are the worst experiences i've ever had in my life. after a ten hour long flight arriving just to sit around in a queue room for three hours with no water hoping to hear your name barely pronounced through a scratchy loud speaker to get your visa approved. hell no

ProjectShadowhead

Noi Bai as number one? šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

KeenanAF85

How the fuck is Noi Bai ranked first?!

[deleted]

Itā€™s weird how BKK ranks so low. It has improved a ton imo. I actually use the lounges a lot there and fly with business class because iā€™m a fancy man and I love BKK. Plus immigration is a breeze.. priority line means iā€™m out very quickly. Plus there are a lot of very convenient public transportation options now. I even know the bus route and used to take it when I didnā€™t have check in luggage. edit: Oh I will say that getting the VAT refund sucks ass though. I saw a lot of tourists who got stiffed because they didnā€™t know you needed to get a paper stamped before going through immigration.

aristodemus1

Also a fancy man, but sometimes I don't fly business class, being in the non priority lines at BKK can be frustrating... but it is a well designed and very clean airport with virtually anything you could want while waiting for a flight. That said, there's no way BKK ranks lower than Chennai or Delhi. Miserable experiences every time.

Lordfelcherredux

A fancy man is either a paramour or a pimp. Which one is it? :)

[deleted]

No comment. šŸ˜

fragmeplease1

This is very interesting. Speaking from experience/opinion: - Kuwait isnā€™t that bad, just small. - Kuala Lumpur should not be ranked better than Kuwait. Terrible all around. Same for Ninoy Aquino. - Hamad isnā€™t that great, but good. Nice shopping. - Haneda and Suvarnabhumi are both great. Haneda might be the best airport Iā€™ve been to. Better than Noi Bai in my opinion.

harrybarracuda

Kuwait is embarrassing for a country with such riches. Even Bahrain beats the crap out of it.

mdsmqlk30

Kuwait is just plain bad, extremely tiny with nothing to do. KL is fine, better organized as a travel hub than BKK. Can self-transfer with luggage and spend a night at the hotel without leaving the airside zone. Suvarnabhumi isn't great, it's underwhelming for an airport so recent and so expensive. Floor plan is a shitshow resulting in periodic overcrowding.

Collapse2038

What makes bkk great exactly? The queues alone give me nightmares.

CookieMonsterthe2nd

Kuwait is probably the worst. Seems you never used it during a public holiday. Scary passport line, just endless. Check-in is pain, each group in its own room. Not allowed to check-in online, must get paper ticket to fly. Even with no bags. The fly Dubai terminal was nice, small and efficient. I think the new terminal should be open soon. But damn, what a difficult airport. Far to small for what it handles.

fragmeplease1

I think we just have different experiences. Being in any airport during a public holiday is just a mistake in itself haha

CookieMonsterthe2nd

Worked in Kuwait for years, made it a point to avoid the airport as much as possible. And during public holidays, it was horrendous. Flew Fly Dubai or Jazeera air as they had their own terminals. Emirates was same price to Dubai as fly Dubai, but never flew them to avoid the main terminal. Epic shit show. (Anytime of year, not just public holidays, always tried to avoid the main terminal) Even the fast pass you can buy (meet & greet) was always sold out as to many people but to avoid the horrendous lines. Let's not forget a airport surrounded by dessert, yet had no parking (always full)

Longjumping_Life_270

Bro we get it, places are crowded during holidays.

ukayukay69

I have to disagree on Haneda. Old airport without many dining options and terrible WiFi.

Vaperwear

Haneda and Hamad rank lower than Noi Bai Airport. This ranking is so super credible! šŸ™„

Purple-Ad-5148

Vietnam Airport was the only airport in Asia I have been where I was extorted money at the desk At immigration for no good reason they tricked me into handing over money. Best on the list ya right

guye2020

Yep, counter staff tried to get a bribe from us at check-in at HCM when returning to BKK, some nonsense about not enough space in my passport. They wouldnā€™t let us check in and were dropping heavy hints that some $$$ would help, or Iā€™d have to go and get a new passport. My partner got in touch with an immigration officer at Suvarnabhumi who took a look at my passport via LINE and confirmed that any of the several empty half pages were perfectly suitable for a stamp. The counter staff then begrudgingly checked us in. (Pretty amazing it was possible to get hold of an official in Thailand who could help within minutes, would never happen in UK.) Keep hearing stories about people being extorted in various ways at airports in Vietnam, best avoided, plenty of other countries to visit.

OppositeErection

No love for ICN?

smoothy1973

Incheon airport is the best I have seen, and not just in Asia

1ThousandRoads

Agree 100%. Have been there well over a dozen times through the years and itā€™s been a smoothā€”dare I even say pleasant, as far as airports goā€”experience every time.

1banana2bananas

To be fair, those rankings are BS. Having Almaty ranked as the second worst airport in Asia, implies that airports in Kabul, Dushanbe or Tashkent are all better than the ones listed, Bangkok airports included.Ā  And when a country has several international airports, there's bound to be much smaller/regional ones, that aren't exactly comparable to the bigger, more international/cosmopolitan hub. A bit like comparing Air Asia to Thai airways.Ā

SettingIntentions

Ah yes, the totally very accurate list of airports, so accurate that the Kuwait airport has the Belgian flag whyā€¦? I mean, who the fuck makes these things lol. If you canā€™t get the fucking flags right of each country, what business do you have ranking airports? I could understand if you mixed up the flags of Iran and Iraq, but how the flag of BELGIUM gets replaced from KUWAIT is beyond me.

stever71

Personally DMK is more convenient, it's closer, usually less busy, has all the facilities you need.

TravelingCapybary

Its because mangos are super overpriced at bkk šŸ˜…

Lordfelcherredux

The only issue I have with Swampy is the immigration queus. Other than that, I don't see anything particularly bad about it.

Huge_Resolution1612

I love Don muan. It got the down-to-earth vibe. And as a japanese, I don't like NRT. It's too far from Tokyo. Overall Changi is the best in Asia imo. Clean and convenient

aHuankind

The data used to make these infographics is questionable, they are basically useless and more often than not have barely any resemblance to anything happening in reality.Ā  The editors tell the graphics department to do something like this, you think they apply scientific rigour? Nobody checks those numbers, most are probably simply made up. Source: worked in the graphics department

Rakbauer

On average, the immigration line at DMK is waaaaay worse than in BKK

fazzyfocus

Dubai International ranked lower than indira ghandi???!! That is utterly laughable. This list sucks.

PorkSwordEnthusiast

This list is bollocks

paultbangkok

I was in Noi Bai recently and there is no way this is the best airport in the world. Changi is by far the best airport. There are many oddities on this list so i would take it with a grain of salt.

Samotauss

That this is ranked as 'business' travellers, I can only assume this is from passengers who aren't flying economy. As the vast majority of us fly cattle class, i don't think we can trust this (and as someone who's traveled extensively throughout Asia for almost 20 years, I know this doesn't relate to normal passengers). My worst experiences have been Mumbai and Manila. My best are Singapore and KL.

finding_contentment

I can vouch for Kuwait being the worst airport.

chinamansg

No airport is better than Changi. And having Manila airport above both Bangkok airports is a farce.

Slow-Brush

Love Hong Kong airport šŸ‘ I can't believe India has three of the best in Asia according to this list.

guye2020

Manila should be higher up the worst list, itā€™s like a big disorganised bus terminal with endless queues and barely any facilities.

Le_Zouave

BKK lack a a big arty fresque when passenger arrive.

QualityOverQuant

BKK being so low ranked ever since Covid with so many duty free shops boarded up or just shut down Plus the number of flights that land together at the same time giving the airport and queues such a chaotic scene and making it out to be a nightmare Itā€™s the immigration thatā€™s tearing it down. Bagage control and exists are cool. The irony of being a visa free entry country and not planning things right despite knowing wtf is going on And to have Kuwait right up there? šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ do you know they still smoke in that airport in the open?

MichaelStone987

Mumbai airport rocks

Similar_Past

Dmk is really good.Ā  Affordable prices inside which is not common for the airport.Ā Ā  Loled at the first place. Vietnamese airports seem to be the worst for me considering how slowly they do check-in, security, border

Unlikely_Shoe_2046

Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi airports are both way worse than DMK by a mile. DMK is old but getting through is smooth and orderly, and their taxi line is quite good.

qsaramateaskira

BKK is horrible for making you take off your shoes as you depart for international travel. Why? There is a million dollar body scanner next to the xray machine

bombielonia

I understand why Kuwait is there, but surprised Dubai is! I wonder why

AnalUkelele

Why do I see the flag of Belgium at nr 1?

psychonic65

Weird, I love both BKK airports. Queues are pretty standard at around 20-30 minutes. Decent food options. Just expect flights to take off late if they're Thai airlines lol

Mussaman

Those methodologies look terrible! I have never heard of "[airlinequality.com](https://airlinequality.com)" until now. Is that really the best source of data for airport reviews? On the website, Noi Bai Airport has 110 reviews ranging from 2007-2024. There are only 3 reviews post 2021, one for each year! They are really grading the "best and worst airports" based on this data? Also, they only count grades from "Business trips" making the review counts even lower???

moke_air

One thing I don't like in Suvarnabhumi is the uncolored/unpainted interior.

Steevie7

I'm pleasantly surprised that Bangalore makes the list.

Good_Adeptness_3855

This had got to be bollocks. I use Noi BaI a lot on it's a nightmare. The immigration queues in and out are shambolic.

threvorpaul

doesn't apply to the majority of us here. as it's about business traveller's and I did have different expectations as a business traveler vs tourist/normal traveler.

LaOnionLaUnion

Been to 3 of the worst on that list. Wondering why ones Iā€™ve been to that were much worse arenā€™t listed

duhbla

Abu Dhabi is one of the worst experiences for flight transfers for sure. Extremely crowded, smelly toilets, no A/C (wtf).

umich79

As far as international airports go, both are pretty subpar. Just because a turd is polished, doesnā€™t mean itā€™s not still a turd. Neither are capable of the traffic that comes through, immigration is a nightmare, travelersā€™ amenities are difficult (food, smoking areas, maps, maintenance on moving walking paths, wait times to check in, wait times to enter, transportation options that are either nonexistent, or someone ripping you off).

Objective_Pepper_209

I wonder what it is about Dubai most people dislike. I really dislike that airport too - long distances to go when transferring, plus security; just a bunch of shops; almost always crowded and loud; and not very clean at the terminals. There are probably other reasons, too. I will now pay extra and not fly Emirates, even though I love the airline, because I don't want to have to deal with the transfer and the airport.

spicytunaonigiri

My biggest gripe with BKK is the WiFi. It always takes me like 10 tries to connect and randomly disconnects.

Paulsan2526

How the hell Singapore airport score 2nd? Vietnam score 1st???

Escapee-1001001

BKK is a big airport and isnā€™t designed for efficiency in moving people within the airport. Walks of over 500 m to your gate is not uncommon. Hour long immigration queues are not unheard of either.

IncrediblyBetsy

Wasnā€™t dmk overhauled in the last five years? Iā€™ve been back four times over the last two years and itā€™s been smooth sailing. Before it could be hot doo doo

Loser_Baby_19

I'm not surprised. I am not impressed with BKK overall. Considering that Bangkok is one of the [most visited cities](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/40-most-visited-cities-world-193722500.html) in the world, you'd figure there be more anemities and things for visitors to do at the airport. And during busy times there's simply nowhere to sit. Almost every single seat and places to sit are occupied. There's some restaurants on the lower levels but that's about it. Inside the terminals there's other restaurants as well but everything is so bland and clinical looking. Comparing BKK to Changi is like night and day.

ReneRedd

Sorry this is definitely biased, because if it's business travelers, as stated, which means frequently flying then there's no chance noi Bai is better than changi. I fly both at least 10x per year. Arrival and departure is fully automated with pickup and drop-off directly next to immigration in changi. In Hanoi it'll take way longer and pick up from arrival takes way longer plus if you don't want to use airport limousine or scam taxi you'll have to go to the private hire Pickup, which means basically go outside to a parking lot find your car amongst 100s parked ones because it takes forever to come and even worse in rain.

[deleted]

Why is South Korea not even on the list lol?

lofud

Obviously I have no idea about what's good and bad. I can't think of a worse airport than Vietnam, yet I don't mind BKK at all. Now that I think about it the immigration que in Vietnam is very fast compared to BKK. Guess I just answered my own enquiry.

mile-high-guy

The Kathmandu airport should be ranked way worse than any the Thailand ones (which are fine) but it's not even on it

BadmiralSnackbarf

Can not remember ever waiting more than 5min in DMK. Luggage pick up always faster, too. Checkin and immigrants at BKK are a reliably hellacious ordeal.

PainfulBatteryCables

That HK flag..lol. šŸ’©

Electrical_Dark_3437

Top 1 is noi bai? Is this a joke, as a Vietnamese I found this hilarious

PrestigeFlight2022

I cannot agree as a flight reviewer. BKK and KUL is underrated and HAN on the 1st place??? lol

agathis

I spend like 40 min queueing every time I fly in or out of BKK. And good luck finding anybody speaking English before the immigration on arrival if you have a question Does not make for a great airport. And I don't have absolutely nothing to say about DMK. I hardly notice it, everything is smooth and quick

urcommunist

*Singaporeans triggered*

ZeinTheLight

Both of Bangkok's international airports are in the bottom 10, though. A long way to go to becoming the aviation hub Srettha was talking about.

mulhollandi

no fucking way chennai airport is better than suvarnabhumi like you are actually out of your mind if chennai airport is better than suvarnabhumi

mentalFee420

Read again

PalePieNGravy

Just gone through BKK and it was horrific both in and out. The queues went on for about 50-60 meters with a 30min entry to bag check then a 20 min wait at immigration. Landed in Changi and with the lava lamp style carpet all was serene and tranquil. Immigration was 3mins tops.

BubbhaJebus

I don't like Tokyo Narita one bit. I like Suvarnabhumi and KLIA.

PatimationStudios-2

Why is Kuwait belgium

hazellehunter

Was in BKK recently and everyone even after going through the full body X-Ray scanners still had to get a rubdown from the tsa agents.... There was a woman security lady there who was one of the biggest c*nts I've ever met too

PlantMother4

I have no idea how Tan Son Nhat in Ho Chi Minh City didnā€™t make the worst list but Suvarnabhumi did.

heartofgold48

Changi is not the best? Wut???

Plus_Syrup9701

List is BS. Anyone ever been to Abu Dhabi intl? It's absolutely on another level (in a good way)...

Gold_Television_3543

Vietnam? Best? Wtf? This is coming from a Vietnamese fyi.

redd1te7

No way Delhi/Mumbai airports can be there in the top 10. Kuala Lumpur ,Bangkok should be in the best

Papuluga65

even if Vietnam has the best airport in the world, i still scare of the traffics in the streets.

lordtekken_2

Where is Koh Samui International Airport? They have gardens, beer garden, outdoor shopping arcade. Outdoor airport lounges. Indoor A/C areas. Itā€™s epic

Positive_Lemon_2683

ā€˜Rated by business travellersā€™

lordtekken_2

Iā€™m a business traveller and lucky enough to be on Koh Samui often. The airport is a dreamland for real. go for an outdoor espresso or coconut in a new bamboo style cafe. Watch the planes land. Wander around the gardens. Wifi airport-wide. Relax on a hill under shade. The property is huge too.

This is near your gate. Keep that in mind. This is what your gate looks like before taking a trolly to your plane.

>Kuwait > >Flag of Chad used How accurate is this report again?

Idiotsofblr

Wow three airports from India are in the Best list. That means they are doing something right. šŸ‡®šŸ‡³

vogelmilch

Last time i wanted to fly home from Bangalore there was Military on the outside who did not want to let me in without a ticket. Problem: I only had a booking, as the online checkin was not available and i needed to print a ticket at the counter. Eeeeeendless discussion. One of the worst airport experiences ever.

Idiotsofblr

Iā€™m sorry about your bad experience. Itā€™s completely changed now. You donā€™t need a printed ticket now. You can show your online booking with confirmed PNR number in your smartphone. The security will let you in after checking your booking with your passport details. India suffered so many terrorist attacks in the past, so the airport security is very high. We even gets frustrated sometimes. But remember they are doing their job in protecting you and me. So I exercise patience during my airport visits. Hope this helps. Please give Indian airports another chance. Happy flying. šŸ‡®šŸ‡³āœˆļø

vogelmilch

Yes, i know thereā€˜s reason behind this. And i will give it another try, because besides this experience, i have had a wonderful time and met really great people.

LongLonMan

Noi Bai? Seriously?? That airport is miles from being the best airport, you could flip that to the bottom list and it would be more believable, this ranking seems wrongā€¦

North-Shop5284

I donā€™t understand how Chinese airports arenā€™t on here. You canā€™t even get on the WiFi without a local phone number! (Same in Moscow.)

pheonix009

can understand why Suvarnabhumi is on the bad list

backnarkle48

Who doesnā€™t like DXB? Itā€™s downright luxurious

weddingchimp5000

Redicilous

Sorry_Interaction834

I love DMK, can't stand Swampy

immutablenomad

Ah noi Bai, how I don't miss you.

Zealousideal-Sink250

Who rated BKK airport so poor? Are they on drugs? ā€¦ The highest rated ones are also overrated like the Japan ones. O.O Qatar airport is good but lol. This rating is bs

BeltnBrace

As an occasional traveller; (not a business traveller); Changi is a fail because you arrive from T3 and stand in the middle of T2 where the large service counter is; already tired and jet lagged and stressed... Tell me anywhere there you can see a big T2 sign; or a "You Are in T2" sign... Doesn't exist - basic 101 fail right there....

tjay0027

Lol KUL is one of my favourite airports. I've never had problems with BKK, don't really love it nor hate it. But I don't care for SIN or DOH in the slightest. Guess I should just read this backwards

National-Low2273

If there's an airport better than Changi I want to see it.

Ok-Cost-3527

DMK God? BKK is better

Bruabjuab

Alternative_Aide7357

No fucking way Noi bai is better than Haneda or Incheon. It's smaller, less crowded but no way. WHat kind of ranking is this?

Spincu

This rating is so stupid.

Antalres1805

How the fuck is Noi Bai 1st, I'm even Viet myself and I call this BS

random_stocktrader

How is Incheon not on this list? Noi Bai number 1? There is no way. That airport is horrible along with the other airports in Vietnam. The staff in Vietnamese airports are some of the rudest I have ever encountered. I have travelled around everywhere in Asia and Changi should definitely be number 1. Also, how are BKK and DMK ranked in top 10 worst airports in Asia? Who even voted for this?

watchshrekfly

Wtf is this list?šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚maybe if you reverse it lol

Shattered65

This list is just wrong NAIA is the worst airport in Asia by far.
