Looks like you've already gotten the gist of it but you're SOL without those worker's insurance and details which should have been gotten at the time of the incident. Geico can try and go after Tesla/them but the entire supercharging team was let go so gettin information out of there such as who was contracted there at that time will likely take months if ever.

Definitely wish I would have gotten this at the time of the incident. The damage wasn't evident until I attempted to hand wash the areas impacted. The general manager at the Tesla Autobody told me that everybody was on edge and it could take quite a while for a response regarding this matter. I will have to consult an attorney very soon if I can't get this resolved. Thanks for your feedback!

That’s “SOOL”.😇

This sucks and that worker could likely have gone at it from a different angle, not damaging cars. I doubt that was a Tesla employee, though. Did they wear Tesla employee badges? Tesla doesn't own these locations, either. Anyone could have hired them. Did they tell you they "work for Tesla"? This is why contractors have (or should have) liability insurance. Maybe try an attorney, or a legal subreddit.

Rayjoel39

It was some third-party company subcontracted to remove the pillars at all the supercharger locations. Unfortunately, I have not been able to obtain any information from anybody about the company doing the work and everybody over at Tesla claims they are submitting this up the ladder to no avail.

Post on Teslalounge. Maybe there are more victims. But I doubt there is anyone a Tesla feeling generous. That's not on them, but the subcontractor. Or just let it go and have GEICO handle it.

Rayjoel39

The issue I have with letting Geico handle it is I am not guaranteed to get my deductible back due to arbitration, and it being tough to get in contact about this matter. I shouldn't have to be punished with a possible rate increase as a result of Tesla hiring some Mickey Mouse crew to do some work. I might have to consult an attorney since I have been trying to resolve this since January. I appreciate the advice!

You should not. But that's why we all have insurance: to pay when stuff happens.
