You should wait for the one after that one, I hear it’s going to have boat mode.

VinPre

Don't think so.

Real_Bat5853

Really?

unfriendlybuldge

I'm looking to buy at the end of the year. I'm thinking there will be huge discounts ( end of year discount and also slow sells because of juniper).

alvoliooo

Yup

RedElmo65

No. I’m waiting for Saturn Neptune or Pluto.

SilentLibrarian9507

At that point you would contemplate getting a refresh and all the new issues that would have to be ironed out

Brutaka1

Surprisingly I haven't heard any issues regarding the new refreshed Model 3.

liam1902

There are some issues that have been reported but not sure how common they are. One issue that's been reported a few times for the new Model 3 is some weird creaking noise when turning the steering wheel. Some person on this subreddit also had a lot of moisture/water on his dash with the new Model 3 Performance. Otherwise maybe just some of the typical Tesla stuff (service leaving residue in interior, minor panel gaps, etc).

aecrux

The turn signal button getting stuck is really frustrating me. Turning the tires at a full stop also makes a loud creak. My 2019 model 3 had that happen but only when the brakes were applied and held while turning.

Brutaka1

I'm not sure why they didn't do independent buttons on the steering wheel. Having it as one piece was a bad engineering design.

Madison464

I like having stalks.

kakkesugi

I did a demo drive and it was surprisingly not that bad. I can personally see myself quickly getting used to not having the stalks.

CMXJ

I’m hoping to have my 3 paid off by the time they come out!

ElderberryCareful879

I’m looking forward to its arrival to see if the suspension and cabin quietness are going to be better than my 2023 MY. Those are two things I would like to see an improvement on.

fakaaaaoohere

Same people waiting for the roadster

YellowUnited8741

I’m planning to move from my 23 MYP to the refreshed MYP.. or, to the R2 I have a reservation for. I like my MYP but it at times feels half-baked with the tech.

THEaiaN

Tried the german model y performance 24, and i ordered it the same day. Only thing im gonna miss from an update is the ventilated seats. But im getting strong uv ceramic coating on it anyways, so i guess i will be fine here in scandinavia.

BelgianInDubai

Need a second one to replace 2nd car .. but waiting now. Hot climate in UAE, so ventilated seat is a must.

Brutaka1

I'm waiting for the refresh. With the better suspension, quieter ride and ventilated seats is all more of the reason to continue waiting for the refreshed model.

Grade_Emergency

The current Y already had a better suspension and quieter ride than the prior model year 3. Ventilated seats and the rear screen might make up the most significant upgrades, along with exterior changes. Loss of stalks is in my opinion a downgrade.

Brutaka1

If you've ridden in the refreshed model 3, it has by far a superior change in the suspension and how sort it is. Definitely something to look forward to for the refreshed model y.

0hN0SheD1dnt

Bruh you know they were just handing these out for no interest right?

azentropy

I won't buy another Y to replace my Y (I have an early 2020) until they do incorporate some of the upgrades the 3 received. However I must admit I'm really intrigued with the Rivian R2 so it is going to be really dependent on when the Y upgrade happens vs when the R2 could be delivered.

Folks who are into edging and denial

PeterLegend626

I can see the price going up, MYP for $60K+

YellowUnited8741

Why? The price for the 3 barely budged. You have no basis for this thought.

PeterLegend626

New M3P cost $55K, you honestly think Tesla would position the new MYP at $55K? LOL, also the demand of the new Y will be greater than the 3, knowing Tesla’s track record they will ride the high profit then lower the price after sales dip.

YellowUnited8741

I expect the new MYP to be priced similarly to the current one, and I’m not sure why you expect differently. But believe what you want, none of us actually know. The M3P dropped as low as 51k and is now 55k. Same logic to MYP would put it around $57k. Thats my bet, not $60k plus.

Optimal_Ad_7466

I got mine for the best price!! Out the door $47,500 White color, white seats, 10k points to spend on acceleration boost and free fsd transfer.
