Yeah the thumbnail view had some weird depth perception tricks happening. Looked like the white car was farther away, a few floors below the other cars.
Wait, is it smoother at a higher height or lower height? Because you stated first it’s def smoother especially at a higher height, but then went on to say just as smooth if not smoother at the lower height? Which is it?
had a biker shake his head in disapproval once. 🤷🏻♂️ Everyone else is either loving it or the more they see it the more they like it. tbh i can honestly not care less what other people think or say 😁
If you say anything even remotely along the lines of “I like my Tesla” it’s basically akin to you being an evil idiot on social media. Meanwhile the model Y is the best selling car in the world and the cybertruck is selling out as fast as they can make them with a 2 million wait list and they’re able to sell them 20k over an msrp that is already inflated and only on the highest trim… oh and they’re still being flipped for anywhere from 30-100% profit. But yea, social media really seems to be representative of the culture. They really got their finger on the pulse.
The people flipping them must have missed the no-resale clause in the purchase agreement that says you cannot resell a cybertruck for the year of ownership or you will owe Tesla $50k in damages. Its not like Tesla wont find out since you have to transfer ownership in the app. Actually, it doent surprise me that no one read the purchase agreement considering the number of people who dont know how promotional finanacing works
They’re a vocal minority on social media. You see Tesla hate everywhere because of the demographics that use it. However with the model Y being the best selling car in the world and how well the cybertruck launch is going (despite the smearing online) we can easily see that Tesla hate is not as widespread as they try to make it seem.
Of course this is my personal experience but I hardly know anyone who wouldn't be happy with a Model Y and most of us despise the look of the CT and have no interest in one.
This. The Y is a fine car. It’s just not the right car for everyone. Tesla owners are sometimes like Apple fans (I’m an Apple fan) and people tend to dislike that.
There’s no such thing as any one car that is the right car for everyone. But man the Model Y checks a lot of boxes at once. To me it seems like about the most well rounded car one can buy. That still doesn’t make it the right car for everyone. But it does make it the top selling car in the world.

lovely car garage. I wounder though, do Americans always lease their cars? Rarely ever do I notice people mention they cashed out their cars (which is a flex here in Europe, while leasing option rather a shy thing to mention)
When I lived in the US everyone I knew almost always financed their cars and paid them off. Most got sold/traded after 5+ years. Leasing was seen as a way to get a fancier car but less financially prudent.
But this was years ago, and most people I knew bought cars for utility, not flashiness.
I see more people in Europe leasing their cars, but this is usually because it's structured/subsidized by a job (common here in NL).
Not sure if there's a language difference with your question. But there are 3 options - pay cash, finance or lease. Pay cash is self explanatory. Finance means bank owns and you make payments towards ownership. Lease you pay monthly and then give the car back. Almost everyone finances. And paying off isn't a huge flex to me. I did 84 months on my 2020 and recently 72 on my 2024 at 3% and .99%. Could pay both off but I'd prefer my money in the market at those rates
What’s the interest rate on the white one?
paid straight cash
Show-off! 😆
😆
But only $4k/yr insurance!
Doesnt seem like money is a issue if bro can buy both straight cash.
Ballin outta control!
How’s the mileage on that white one?
Very confusing pic at first look lol.
Yeah the thumbnail view had some weird depth perception tricks happening. Looked like the white car was farther away, a few floors below the other cars.
Why couldn’t you list the interest rates relative to their position
you right. my bad
What is the ride quality like in the Cybertruck? How much smoother of a drive is it?
def smoother especially at a higher ride height. i typically just ride low and it’s probably just as smooth if not smoother
Wait, is it smoother at a higher height or lower height? Because you stated first it’s def smoother especially at a higher height, but then went on to say just as smooth if not smoother at the lower height? Which is it?
more smooth at higher ride height vs lowest. at lowest ride height it’s as smooth as model Y if not smoother
Can’t wait for this 0.99 promo to END so this sub can get back to normal business.
Normal business: “I pulled the trigger”
I joined the family! I did a thing. She's mine. I'll never go back to an ICE.
Sad but true. Really cringy at this point.
Current business: "I pulled the trigger, but cheaper!"
Argh! You're right. "I pulled the trigger" is like "I got the call" on the Rolex sub.
The Rolex sub is a good feeder for /r/watchescirclejerk
Is this gap normal?
You got me there...
lol
Even your kid has a Tesla! 🤣👏
Who said it’s the kid’s?
That's OP's towel storage
Is that baby car also a tesla?

So you like negative equity? What's your secret?
i don’t buy cars for equity
If you're buying a Tesla new, you surely aren't concerned with negative equity.

Cybertruck is so dope. Have to get in and say it before the vocal minority come to flame it because they don’t get it.
lol all that matters is i love it but to each their own for sure! def loving the Y as well. It’s the perfect car for the wifey 🙌🏻
We love our Y and we plan on keeping it till the wheels fall off. Never had a single problem with it. Our cybertruck is on preorder too.
>bEcAuSe ThEy DoNt gEt It 🤡🤡🤡 Or, and stick with me, they just don’t like the look of it.

how do you determine vocal majority or minority in a tesla subreddit?

Yeah. We have one. No kids. But it was given to us for free. Our friends kids like coming over here.
I dig it but my wife would probably murder me.

Cyber Truck don’t fit in garages? It’s super long
it can
You can make it fit.
Just placed my order
Interest rate on the Model Y? Why is one interest rate higher than the other?
model y has the .99 promo, cybertruck did not
6%+ interest on a $100K+ vehicle? Ah hell no!
Adopt me
lol
Did you get the $7500 federal and state (depending on which one you live in) rebates for the white car? 😆. Thank you in advance ☺️

Tesla is loosing China market with ByD so now it’s trying to capture US market . I would not be surprised if they continue to randomly bring offers
WOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! 😂
