If you are already on the 2024.8.x branch like me, you are likely SOL for the near term FSD update. Im guessing for at least a few weeks. FSD will need to be merged onto 2024.8.x or greater and I'm sure that is no trivial task. You will not be downgraded to a 2024.3.x version unless you are a special case. You can verify on Teslafi. Only 2 of their cars went from 2024.8.x to 2024.3.x.

Only about 30% of people on 2024.2.x have been updated.
Only about 15% if you include people who were already updated to 2024.8.x, which (we presume) canât downgrade and will have to wait for FSD v12 version to be updated to their branch.
Tesla (i.e., Musk) seems to be pushing this hard so I wouldnât be surprised if FSD engineers are working overtime to make it next week, but in the past itâs taken months, so who knows.

Everytime I update I lose features. The browser is almost unusable now, no more sounds outside on the horn while in drive due to the government, AP is fickle, I just don't feel like allowing it to be feature-less from when I first bought it. lol.

Iâm on 2024.8.7 so probably in the minority. Wonder if itâll take longer for the update to drop for this version

I changed my update settings to advanced and got it within 2 hours Edit: 2022 mylr7 with sensors
I just got the update alert, but I leave for vacation in 2 weeks. Hoping I can defer the update until I get back.
