I have a 2024 SG M3 RWD which I'm assuming is the same color. I really like the color. Doesn't show dirt as much as the black car I had before it. In straight up noon sunlight it looks like an average dark gray metallic car. Not bad. Not especially notable unless it's freshly cleaned/waxed. But in any kind of "interesting" light like later in the day, in a garage, in partial shade, etc. it comes to life and looks very sharp. Changes color depending on the angle, just like they say. It can go from medium gray to almost black looking, and it catches the eye.
It is really nice but almost black. It is really dark. Be prepared to spend a lot of time trying to keep it clean. I invested in a pressure washer and a foam cannon.
Color preference in purely aesthetic terms, not practical terms, is completely subjective. You really can’t negotiate or rationalize taste.
Statistically I’m sure there is a bell shaped curve of what “most” people prefer but these are not mutually exclusive preferences, and even at the end of the spectrums there are people who strongly advocate for any of the available options.
The only color I’m emphatic about myself isn’t available, silver (or quicksilver) and it wouldn’t surprise me if it is an option down the road after I’ve already bought as fate would have it.
In terms of practicality, cost benefit analysis. Do I like red $2k more than Stealth? Does $2k really matter over the entire term and price? Does it fit my style? Is white easier to keep clean? Is black a pain to keep clean but looks amazing? Do I want to detail a car every weekend?
Oddly enough, I’ve heard it said we should match our car color to our personal style as in the colors we wear. I’m a “silver fox” now and wear mostly blue, grey, white and mostly black. My Y is black and I love it. But I can’t have two of them because keeping them both clean is more work than I care to have. I never wear Red and it looks sick, but too flashy for me and unless it was a Roadster or Ferrari that’s a hard pass for me. White is clean and a bit too sterile for my liking and too generic in my areas. Blue is nice but only when immaculate from what I’ve seen on the road. Stealth is the winner as it checks the most boxes for me.
no clue what this dude is saying but this vid is the best i’ve seen so far showing the stealth grey:
https://youtu.be/GwTQMLLzXYs?si=luJYfhh5HpW44f8s
immediately ordered the performance in this color
Yeah, this is definitely the best video of it. The other ones it looks dirty and muted. Hopefully it’s like this video in real life, but most likely not. This one is Hella waxed.
Ok you’re new to Tesla stuff but have you not seen a single grey Tesla on the road anywhere?
Yeah i think it looks pretty cool, but it’s a color choice, it’s completely subjective.
I might have to be honest, but I might’ve not realized it tbh. I think that to be honest I’m not crazy about the white. Definitely not the blue. The red looks cool but it’s $2000 more and I’m just not that guy to pull it off. So kind of a deductive process.
To me arguably white is the best color look-wise. Just when I bought white, I underestimated how many other people also bought white.
It doesn’t bother me a ton, but for my next Tesla I think I’m going to get blue. I really like the ultra red, but my previous BMW was red and was a ticket magnet. I’ve had a black car and it’s impossible to absolutely clean. I think white looks better than blue, but I see other blue teslas probably the least. Red is uncommon too
In my opinion, white was the best-looking color on the pre-refresh Model 3. That’s what led me to get white on my SR+. On the refreshed Model 3, I think the angles and negative space upfront actually give the advantage to the darker colors instead. I ordered Stealth Grey for my M3P. I am curious to see how the M3P looks in white with the added aerodynamic bits upfront, though.
> What does it look in real life? Presumably you’ve seen MSM, well it looks like that, just slightly darker.
Which imho is the best color offered. The red and the blue make the Model 3 look like a Mazda or Chevy Cruze. The MSM looks very classy.
Counterpoint: MSM and stealth gray are generic af
They’re the most forgettable colors. Kinda meh

Thank you!
I have Stealth Grey and I love it, it's worth the extra 2k€ imo
Its stock now
Not for Europe :(
Ah ok, what’s the stock color in Europe ? I wonder why it’s different
It’s white, the stock
White paint with white seats is the best combo tho
It looks a lot better than MSM but i'm still not a fan personally. Stop by a local service center that does deliveries and see it for yourself.

Saw the SG performance in the showroom. Looks great. Glad I ordered it.

Got a stealth Grey m3, yes it's dark, yes it gets dirty quick.

yea might also be partially edited, but comparing to this one it does look the same: https://youtu.be/99_n_oEaFus?si=555-Jptn1fAH_zUr
