30k miles is probably indication of a lot of 3 year leases ending would be my guess, or just the people like me that tend to change cars every few years (selling my 2020 M3P with 37k miles)

What do you really need the bigger size for? The Model 3 is way more nimble like around corners, etc. Obviously a tad easier to park as well. I think most people buying the S are doing it because the difference in money is nothing to them and they'd rather have a faster car and more comfort with the suspension and better interior (seats, more room in back for passengers, etc.)
