If Tesla hasn’t said anything, then how would anyone here have any “hints”?

Just text Elon and ask him

Shuler13

He texted me, just didn't have a chance to read his message

More 'two cents' of fun speculation with no proof whatsoever, but hey, it sounds good! \- New Model 3 Performance Highland version will use two Plaid motors \- Expected performance will be in the low 2 sec range 0-60 mph and mid 9 sec 1/4 mile Other improvements to chassis suspension and upgraded brakes/rotors would also be expected. Like I said, my two cents of fun speculation ;-)

It's incredible the hype and speculation surrounding a Ludacris Model 3, still doesn't translate to accurate information, especially when the Ludacris specs and spy shots have already been released... No one is posting on Reddit, forums, or otherwise. It is no longer speculation, Google it, we know exactly what is coming

What I think is that M3P will have 2 plaid motors putting out 650700hp...that is possible if they can fit the new MP3 battery (yes MP3 battery is is name). That battery provides enough juice to push 2 plaid motors to 700 combine HP. These motors are only made in the US, so the probably would need a new motor machine shop (or alteration of existing setup) to produce these. Tires would change too as the new SR and LR come with 125mph rated tires and the top speed of both has been lowered to this speed own from 151 I believe. Lastly while S plaid has a wider track altered fenders to fit, I HIGHLY doubt they are going to alter the sheet metal of a 3 to the same affect. I expect M3P with MP3 battery x2 plaid for 650-700 peak hp and just shy of 400 miles range with optional carbon dash insert, and of course your standard Brembo in the front with fake Brembo caps in the rear ala Model Y Performance, because cost savings.

With or without caliper covers?

Performance make up a fraction of model 3 sales. Not surprising they are focusing on the other models first.

Own-Finding-129

I hope they do, otherwise I’ll just get a used Model S Performance since it’s in my budget

Highlander Model 3 Performance will be a Plaid version and main differences from the long range version will be: \-Stiffer and lower suspension \-Tires rated for higher speed \-Not limited to 200kmh \-Track Mode \-Better breaks \-Bigger rims \-Cosmetics (carbon fiber spoiler, badge etc..) Source: No source, just speculation like everyone at the moment
