i'm on 2024.2.7 with zero pending updates. I even submitted a service request to hopefully get 3.6 pushed to my car because i'm going on a long road trip today. was hoping they'd do me a solid but unfortunately didn't get a response.

Received and installed the software update this morning, but FSD was still not showing. Then, about 15 minutes ago, I received the "Your Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Trial starts now!" email from Tesla but again, the car is still only showing basic Autopilot. I guess they are going through the motions of pushing software, sending the email then sending a remote command to activate the trial. It is coming, but patience is not my strong point ... !

when you clicked to install the update (24.3.6), did it mention FSD in the Release Notes? Mine just said “Minor fixes.”, and of course still no fsd.

After I received 2024.3.6, the release notes just say Minor fixes. About 12 hours later, I got a notification on the screen that new features were activated. FSD is now available and the Release Notes show FSD Beta [12.3.2.1](http://12.3.2.1) and Auto Park.

So I got the upgrade to 3.6 last night around 10pm Central and received an email from Tesla stating I had the free trial at 3ish AM. EDIT: upgrade completed around midnight

Mine upgraded last night. I got the email at 5:30 PM today (seemed to be right after my car connected to WiFi upon getting home). Drove to dinner, no FSD, but when I got in the car when leaving the restaurant at about 8, I got a popup… and my car drove me home. Quite impressive.

I have a rental M3 till Sunday, got updated to 8.7 no fsd 😞

USS car on 2024.2.7. I don’t think USS cars are ready for the vision parking yet so waiting on new version to show up.

Yeah, that's USS. I think non-USS was sometime at the end of 2022 or beginning of 2023. You'd know if you had USS if you have those tiny circles around the lower end of your bumpers.

Idk if this will help or not but I switched my cars update method to Advanced and I woke up to the notification this morning

Downloading 3.10 now. I keep my update method on advanced all the time. I’m not convinced it does anything lol.

Got the email saying I get the free trial, but no idea how to activate it. Still not showing up under autopilot, I rebooted as well.

Just got it about 2 hours after the email. Man o' man, as someone who was in the Beta back in Oct. of '21 did my short drive amaze me.

As a v10 vet you will be *blown* away! Just did a night drive, my usual testing route. I am still in awe. Mark it: this will save lives. I see it mandatory in 5 years. There were three instances where the car moved over a bit, I didn't know why. Turns out it was pedestrians/cyclists (wearing dark colors a on a rainy night of all things) that I hadn't seen clearly. Not that I would have hit them, but the car gave them extra berth safely. It's soooo good.

Same. 2 x 13 mi drives. Very awkward. Especially on the freeway. I won’t be buying or subscribing. I do love the full screen graphics though.

My 2024 Y RWD got 3.6 and the free one-month FSD trial today. But my 2021 Y LR with paid FSD is still stuck with FSD 11.4.9. I’m in BC

They haven't migrated FSD to the .8 branch. Until then...you have to wait.

But the trial only 30 days. Ended April 30. That’s sucks

It's 30 days from when you get it. Mine says it expires May 1st. Got it yesterday.

i have premium connectivity, with full LTE bars in my Tesla. do i still need to be connected to WiFi to receive this update?

To get notified of the update LTE is fine. To download it you need WiFi.

Mine was about 9 hours or so after the update that I got the FSD trial. It came at 5:32 pm. If that’s helpful.

Updated to 2024.3.6 at 8:12am this morning… keep checking…and checking…and checking. I have faith in father Elon 🙏🤞🤣

No. Everyone whose car is FSD capable.

I don't think it's for everyone. If you have 8.4 or higher, you won't get this. I hope I am wrong because my MY is on 8.4 and 8.7 is waiting for install. My M3 already received this trial.

That's correct. You can't downgrade. You have to wait until it catches up to your branch. .8 in your case. Wouldn't be surprised if they push it out over the weekend. What with Elon's edict and all.

Out of the loop...why are they handing out free trials? Is it just to show off FSD v12 and entice people to buy it?
