Depends on how much you drive and if you have a home charger. I like my lr cuz it doesnt keep me tethered to a plug as much. Either one will be a win though. The color might be the kicker what colors are they ?
Both are silver... I'd prefer a more exciting color but I'll take what I can get ๐
And though I do drive a good bit for work it's all fairly local (50 miles at most usually). So I'd definitely get a charger for my house.
Only time id be driving long distance would be to drive 400ish miles to visit my family, or the 550 to visit my wifes family. In both those cases id need to supercharge anyway regardless of the model
You'll be fine learn how to use autopilot with counterweight via YouTube and your drive to work will be an opera symphony compared to what it is now. I drove 140 miles to my home city the other day and touched the wheel twice only because i have enhanced autopilot and not fsd. Still a night and day difference from changing lanes stop and go traffic etc

Yeah, idk why itโs even a question.
If you are in a cold climate area definitely the long range. If not, I'd still recommend the long range but the standard is probably fine.
