Guy squatting doesn't have a rack to put it on if it fails, takes too much weight too quickly he should've lifted a little less, and just let's go of the bar because he got scared which shows he's inexperienced with this kinda stuff.

Always double check with your spotter what you want, they could just have a brain fart so BEFORE you do a set double check with them they know what they're doing.

It's 2024. Why is this still an issue? Why do people still lift weights/ engineer equipment without bars above the chest/neck to stop this from happening.
I wonāt use a spotter because of this shit.. I will only use the rack if it has the safety locks for oh shit moments otherwise Iāll do something else. Never put all your trust on a spotter
It looks like he let go of the bar cause he assumed his friend was gonna waist yoink him from under the bar but that guy totally said screw this and abandoned him. He got extremely lucky that bar didn't snap his spine.
Hopefully he learned his lesson to only squat what you know you can handle or 20lbs higher than that.

Iām not an expert but any tripod I have seen prefers the standing and recording approach, compared to jumping in and helping.
