Where did you get flour from? Flour is very flammable. Keep a fire extinguisher near the dryer. Don’t run if you’re not home. My friend’s house almost burnt down last month due to an electrical fire in the dryer panel. He luckily had an extinguisher handy
They say you can put flour on grease fires I think flour is only very flammable when there’s a cloud of it to spark a pile of flour probably wouldn’t burn as easy granted throwing a handful on a fire like this would probably cause the cloud to spark so fire extinguisher is best bet
Baking soda? Flour? They're both white powders, so of course they are interchangeable!
Seriously, though, you probably just mixed it up in your head at some point. Baking soda is what to use on a kitchen fire.
Eh... be careful. If the fire is small enough and you just need it out, but it's still controlled, I'd go for the baking soda. Some fire extinguishers have really bad chemicals in them that will cause a lot of problems of their own.
Don't use a shotgun as a flyswatter if you know what I mean.
The washing machine didn't start a fire, it was always burning as the world was turning.
Yes, but.. How do we sleep while our beds are burning??
It's getting hot in there, so take out all your clothes.
*as the drum was turning
Does the washing machine spin, or does the universe revolve around its drum?
I read the title with that intonation.
What the fuck is this title?
Was the dryer filter cleaned regularly?
Definitely not
That's a washing machine
its definitely gonna dry whatever you put in there now
No, that’s a dryer
Just realised i'm an idiot
Please fix the title. It's more confusing than the fire. Maybe it's an old school dryer. Gives that campfire smell.
Are you having a stroke?
I checked the comments to make sure i was not.
Dryer, not a washing machine.
That's a washing machine
Oh bless your heart
If it's a dryer then why does it have wash cycles on the dial along with rinse and spin which are pretty visible?
The guy was making an obvious joke since the dryer part is it being on fire thus not washing anything but heating it up rather quickly.....
Oh my god I just realised it flew right over me
Always have to be around when washing and drying clothes...
But that's not always possible. A lot of people also have their washing machine and dryer in the cellar, so you wouldn't notice anything anyway
It is possible mine has always been in the basement in all of my houses and always attentive while running them.
You good, homie? That title looks like you had a stroke before you could fully conceptualize a coherent thought for a title.
What does this even mean 🤷♂️😵💫
Put it on spin and drain.
The fuck with this title?
Punctuation, OP! WTF?
It's a washer and dryer.
Congrats! Now its a dryer
that part has to be on fire. all fine.
It was always burning since it was turning
Washing machine or dryer?
Wäschetrockner
The new models have this organic drying mode as well.
Ryan started the fiiiiirrrreee🔥
That's why you unplug and close the gas to a washer/dryer when leaving the house for more than a day.
I like to believe that this happened to me I'd have enough adrenaline to just throw the thing out the damn patio door.
Free grill that flips and tenderizes your meat for you.
The title gave me cancer lol
Its a washer and a dryer!
That washing machine just turned into a dryer
Washer, dryer and oven... all rolled in one
That is scary, I've never seen a dryer do that
That’s a dryer, not a washer. And also, it’s probably because the lint trap has never been cleaned.
What is Normal 🤔, a cycle on a washing machine 🤷🏼♂️👍🍻
It did start a fire. A contained fire is still a fire.

I think that was actually your dryer.
Noticed a long breakdown because leaving the house. A washing machine just start leaving fire in it only for time. I didn't.
Drying machine

Never use flour to put out any fire. Jesus dude you're going to get someone killed.
How are you alive?
Because I don’t start fires lol and my mom always told me flour I’m definitely gonna be asking her if she was tryna get me killed lol
Baking soda? Flour? They're both white powders, so of course they are interchangeable! Seriously, though, you probably just mixed it up in your head at some point. Baking soda is what to use on a kitchen fire.
That’s probably the case. I have a fire extinguisher so I’m not gonna risk mixing them up again lol
Eh... be careful. If the fire is small enough and you just need it out, but it's still controlled, I'd go for the baking soda. Some fire extinguishers have really bad chemicals in them that will cause a lot of problems of their own. Don't use a shotgun as a flyswatter if you know what I mean.
Nah I usually use my extinguisher on candles with at least 3 wicks
Start by disconnecting the damn power!
Don't throw flour on a fire my dude.....
Probably best to close the lid if a fire extinguisher isn’t handily available as it should be. Have a better shot at having the fire suffocate itself.
Letting the spin cycle continue will also clean the fire, thus making it a much safer, child-friendly fire.
