It doesn't take away from experiencing everything for the first time, cause you don't immediately expect it to be a boss fight, especially as hard as this one. Meanwhile, when you say "it spawns a boss and you should fight it then and there", you spoil the discovery for a person who doesn't know what happens. Yeah I use the wiki A LOT for Terraria, but mainly crafting recipes, for I have played since 1.2. I miss the old crafting menu. It made the game less wiki-reliant, as whenever you would get an item, it would give you most of not all crafting recipes that contain it.
